My 3 year old had his first check up and Dr Marko and the team helped make it a fun and positive experience. We travel 40 minutes for each appointment and it’s well worth the trip!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Marko is exceptionally good at what he does. He has a unique talent in performing dental procedures on small children. His method of distraction is an art. My 5 year old did not feel any pain or discomfort during the 3 sessions with him and did not have any reservations about going back for each appointment. She was blissfully unaware of the procedure that was taking place in her mouth despite being fully conscious. Dr. Marko has a fun and humorous analogy or song for every little step as he carries out his work. My daughter's comfort and well being was his top priority, and our experience was positive all the way through. We're extremely grateful to him and his team.

Dr Marko and his team have been a saving grace for our family and a much welcomed professional and beautifully kind change for dentist work for our daughter. Our dentist journey with our young daughter unfortunately began with enduring other incompetent general dentists for dental work, despite my daughter laying on my lap for the appointments with the other dentists naturally a fear of the dentist unfortunately developed. We decided to seek out a new dentist and we are so thankful and grateful to have come across Dr Marko and his amazing team. From the first visit our daughter was confident to sit in the dentist chair on her own, my husband and I could not believe it, this is attributed to the genuine kind, caring, empathetic, humorous and specialist care Dr Marko has for his patients. I must note the amazing service we experienced from the Practice Coordinator Kate. From our initial return correspondence from Kate we knew this dentist practice was different. Since we first reached out, to now with our young daughters dental plan complete, thanks to Dr Marko, we cannot rate this practice highly enough. From one parent to another, I can guarantee you would not have one regret in visiting Dr Marko and his team.

My youngest daughter said "he's really kind and lovely and funny and talkative". My eldest daughter said "he let's you breathe... My extremely anxious 12 year old was literally petrified for his tooth extraction. Dr Marko made him feel comfortable on his level, gave great instructions, and information as to what was happening (as much as he needed to know ) and engaged with him with lots of positive energy support and added humour. Fantastic experience: Dr Marko is a rare gem. His whole philosophy of the dentistry he practices is child centred and focused on the experience of the child. The language and tone of voice he uses creates a sense of ease and safety for children and his methodology ensures as minimal pain and anxiety for his patients. My daughter had 3 sessions with Dr Marko doing some preventative work and installing 2 crowns. With Dr Marko’s help, she sat still and happy throughout all 3 procedures and there was no resistance from her in going to the appointments. I am so grateful for Dr Marko and his team as my daughter would have trouble enduring the treatment, if it wasn’t for their gentleness, kindness and encouragement.

My son was in severe pain but very anxious visiting dental practices so we got recommended by a friend to Dr Marko Milosevic and Dr Marko was a Saint sent to us with his big kind, caring and professional attitude who really cares and knows how to talk to the kids and makes sure that they are not scared and have fun. Fantastic experience: Doctor Marko Milosevic has seen us as an emergency in the space of few hours. My son had nerve infection and has been in pain for more than 48 hours. After receiving strong course of antibiotics my son was better , unfortunately the tooth had to come out. Tooth extraction is a very scary procedure with adults - for kids even more so. My son however had put full trust in Dr Milosevic. When asked why - he told me that “Doctor Marko speaks kid”. Tooth extraction was painless, stressless and very quick. Basically no notable time of recovery either - my son ended up attending his first high school parent teacher interviews that day - followed by soccer training. After the anaesthetic wore off - he reported no pain. I highly recommend Dr Marko Milosevic for all the little ones with tooth issues - I know that we will be seeing Dr Milosevic for my son from now on. Another thing worth mentioning is that prompt response from Dr Milosevic (I called after hours and got transferred to Dr Milosevic’s mobile directly) as well as being seen within a few hours - made a world of difference to a very stressed mother and son. Thank you Dr Marko Milosevic !!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr Marco highly enough as a dentist for young (and nervous/ shy!) kids- he is uniquely gifted in connecting with children and putting them at ease in what can otherwise be a scary environment. Having visited Dr Marco twice, I’ve appreciated they way he engages with my kids and explains what’s happening in age appropriate ways, always asking consent and checking in throughout any treatment, while also keeping me as the parent in the loop and informed throughout. Hard to believe it’s all covered by Medicare- I’d happily pay out of pocket expenses for the quality of care!

Fantastic experience: Excellent paediatric dentist! He applied local anaesthetic with a needle to my son without him even notice it! Dr Marko removed a milky tooth that was stuck in the most fun and smooth way. My son could not believe the procedure was already done as Dr. Marko was distracting him, making jokes and relaxing him in a way that although he is already 12y.o worked perfectly. I think he is a genuine kids doctor and we really appreciate how he has looked after our son. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Marko and his staff were fantastic. My daughter had accidently smashed her 3 front adult teeth slipping on our tiles at home. We attended the WCH and another practice that i wont name who were also great but not a Bupa Preffered Provider. After that we began trying to find somewhere to perform the restorations and we discovered Big Mouth and the Shiny brights. We had heard good things and good reviews were good too. Dr. Marko went over the initial emergency work and performed some further work giving her the tick of approval. We then needed to arrange for the restoration to be completed. Dr. Marko was honest about not having enough time to perform the restoration on my daughter with the month as we wanted it done asap as it was effecting her self-esteem, (10 year old kid). Dr. Marko said if he booked it in it would be rushed and he would not feel comfortable with that level of work going out of the practice (personally what a great integrity and highly proffesional). He offered a waiting list spot, we accepted. Two days later he had an opening and restored her 3 teeth. Absolutely top notch job. You would not even be able to tell. As a father I was in tears. I could not be more grateful. (This was approximately 4 months ago) Thank you!!! P.s. Fantastic receptionist too!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Marco has supported my daughter through some very major dental trauma: he was so kind and gentle and she’s no longer scared of the dentist. Before seeing Dr Marco, my daughter was so frightened of dentists she would refuse to even open her mouth; Dr Marcos gentle and kind approach coupled with his knowledge and skill of paediatric dentistry, guided her through the process, meaning our dentist trips are no longer an ordeal! The staff are all fun & kind. Trips to the dentist aren’t clinical. It’s more like visiting friends. If I could give 1000 stars I would.

Explains dental care and procedures to the kids in a relatable way that they can understand. Fantastic with my 15 month old at his first visit, starting to build up trust and a rapport with him so that dental checks are easier as he gets older. A true “no fear” dentist. Very friendly, calm and patient. A fantastic dental experience for children. Staff from reception through the entire dental surgery are wonderful and put the children (and parents) at ease. You do not feel like another number to this practise! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Marko is wonderful with children in the chair, he makes them feel at ease and talks to them constantly throughout to reassure them and makes it fun. He really knows how to relate to kids. Our kids love going to see him, even after one has had fillings!! He is great at explaining things to parents too, transferring technical knowledge in a way that is easily understood. The whole experience, including Kate on reception, is exceptional. Dr Marco takes the time to get to know the kids and makes going to the dentist a positive experience. The other staff (reception and nurse) are also amazing.

Fantastic experience: Dr Marco and his team are professional and personable. Dr Marco is patient, forthright and completely dedicated to his patients dental requirements and supportive with their parents. The team take a personal interest in your life and are always willing to help out where they can. My two sons are both Neurodivergent and have sensory issues. Dr Marco is relateable to them and help them to feel comfortable with the dentistry process which can be very difficult for my children due to their sensory needs. My youngest has ASD and has PDA. Dr Marco has worked wonders with him as this type of Autism is quite difficult to work with. I love Dr Marco's ability to co-regulate calmness and explain everything that he is doing to help my children to feel safe and have complete trust in him to perform what is needed in the appointment. A wonderful team at Big Mouth and the Shiny Brights. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs specialist care with paediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Big Mouth & The Shiny Brights, both of our children welcomed the new year with a visit to see Dr Marko, always a pleasure, from Kate at the reception you are greeted with a friendly smile and always a conversation asking about the kids and family, then onwards to Marko, an amazing paediatric dentist who is a lovely guy who has an amazing bedside manner and sense of humour that is captivating and engaging for children, makes it an experience and is alway complimentary of just how well they are doing with their teeth, brushing and explaining next steps if further work or a scheduled catch is next due.
