Fantastic experience: So iv done two great things in my life and the 1st having two beautiful sons, the second making a big decision to get Veneers. One of my sons suggested, go to Lucas Family Dentist, 1 Merz St Lucas, as he new I was petrified of all Dentist. I no sooner got into the Dental clinic and made very comfortable, felt relaxed and at ease..I met Dr Mustafa Bassam and his beautiful assistant Maddy who held my hand thru the whole process. I have to say that many times I walked into the clinic crying as I was petrified, but was always treated with kindness. I could not praise that Dental clinic enough, my Veneers were fitted with in 1.5 months. All the Dental assistant's, the front reception workers, and best of all Dr Mustafa Bassam. All it took was to ring up my Super Fund and the front receptionist dealt with all the paperwork. I have to say that I have never been happier, and I love showing off my new teeth. If there is any one out there that really panics going to the Dentist, give this company a try you will not regret the service. Thank you to all the receptionist, the Dental assistant's and Mustafa. You have made my life so much happier. And yes Mustafa you can clean my teeth again.lol

Fantastic experience: UPDATE June 2025 I felt I had to update my review of Ballarat Family Dental which I attended yesterday. My name is Carol Arthur and following a severe fall I broke 3 front teeth 2 months ago !! To say I was devastated is an understatement, but luckily I remembered Dr Mustafa Bassam. He has done the most beautiful job I could imagine, giving me back my smile. This man is a treasure, he is gentle, considerate and a true perfectionist in his work. !!! Thank you Dr Mustafa and the whole team at Ballarat Family Dental. From the receptionists, who are so understanding, to Kevin, who does the 3D printing and photography, to Dr Mustafa who performs the magic, they are all a truly amazing team !!! Carol Arthur June Unfortunately I broke a (crowned) tooth when I bit into a cherry stone at about 2pm in the afternoon, resulting in the tooth falling out which was very distressing for me !! My normal dentist is located in Geelong and I was unable to get an appointment quickly so I needed an urgent appointment. A friend recommended Ballarat Family Dental in Lucas so I rang them and they booked me in at 3pm the same day !!!! I attended the surgery, was seen immediately and treatment provided with courtesy, and the tooth was cemented back in situ. Whilst this was only a temporary ‘fix’ as it needed specialist treatment, this was arranged by the doctor for Thursday and the findings sent on with the referral. Excellent treatment provided by this facility which I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My wife Elesa cracked a tooth whilst we were in the Ballarat region on holiday. Quick phone call got her in for an initial assessment and repair that same afternoon, followed by a Crown fitting two days later. Dr. Mustafa and his nurse were incredibly gentle, professional and efficient. Elesa almost fell in the chair LOL She also got to see the crown being constructed on the 3D Printer. Fantastic experience: I was unsure if I would feel pain or not getting some cavitys filled and my teeth cleaned but Mustafa did majority of the work pain free and his lovely assistant. Now my teeth feel and look alot better than before.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Dr Mustafa was very professional, thorough and was able to give me the smile I wanted. I had to have a root canal, 2 fillings and 2 porcelain veneers. Dr Mustafa made sure I was okay throughout my appointments and achieved exactly what I wanted. The friendly reception staff made sure I was doing well post treatment. Highly recommend for their skill and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have all my work done with Dr Mastafa. He is polite, professional and always fair priced who truly cares about helping his patients achieve their goals and is passinate about what he does. His work is always fast yet efficient providing quality fillings and dental work always making the experience a pleasant one. His dental nurse Maddy is also lovely young lady who always ensures my comfortability. Mastafa is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff always happy to answer any questions I may have. I reccomend him to all my friends and family. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend Ballarat Family Dental .. Travelling in the area and lost my front tooth by chance and now I know by luck .. I was given the number of this dentist by the place we were staying and .. the reception staff very helpful and got me in straight away to see a dentist which referred me to Dr Mustafa Bassam who worked professional magic with amazing technology and skill to fix my front tooth a bridge was made and didn’t take much time at all so sorted my gap quickly .. it’s comfortable and looks very natural .. I was very upset when it happened but thought it was very good luck it happened in Ballarat and I happened upon a very skilled Dentist to fix my tooth on Dr Mustafa.. thankyou to him and his team and the reception staff very friendly helpful and professional.

Fantastic experience: Both Dr Karina and Sophie were very professional. They both clearly communicated what I could do to improve/maintain my dental health both verbally and by demonstration. Reception/ Office Staff were also helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I was recently in to the clinic to have a second tooth removed. Could not speak highly enough of the service from Dr Mustafa and his assistant Maddy. It’s not secret I have a horrid gag reflex and would make their job harder. Yet still both of these people made the experience as positive as a tooth extraction can be. While showing genuine personality and patient care. Will be going back for any future dental work.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding professional service from the team at Ballarat Family Dental from the very first phone call to the final treatment appointment. We had a very anxious child who needed some small fillings taken care of - They put my little boy at ease and he now loves visiting the dentist! Fantastic experience: While we were in our holiday in Ballarat Victoria I had an emergency related to one of my tooth. It was a Friday lunch time and I was so lucky I rang Ballarat family dental care and talk to the lovely receptionist Sara. Once I explained my situation she talk to Dr. Musthafa and kindly gave me an appointment on the same afternoon . Dr Musthafa was very kind and did what he had to do. After few days I carried on my holiday as we planed. I was on a road trip for 5 weeks with my husband. We walked the part of the great ocean walk as we planed and now we r in Grampians. So thanks to Ballard family dental care we are having a great holiday.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are absolutely amazing. I seriously cannot fault any of the staff at this practice. From my dentist, nurses to the reception staff. I had to have a procedure under General Anesthetic, and as someone who was TERRIFIED of the dentist, everybody was amazing and made the process super easy and were very accommodating. My biggest shoutout goes to Dr Mustafa. He has been so kind and is super patient with me. I honestly can't thank him and the team enough.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Dr Becky after a tooth injury with my daughter. Dr Becky was wonderful and kind and put my daughter at ease. She provided us with lots of information and a treatment plan to continue the care and healing process. MJ on reception was also an absolute delight. She went over and above to assist and we couldn’t be more grateful for the both of them.

Fantastic experience: I came in to Ballarat family dental after losing a tooth in an accident. Ballarat family dental were fantastic and Dr Anjali was so gentle and so thorough and caring.

She is thorough and provides options to help you make educated decisions for your or your child's oral health. She is fantastic with children and people with special needs, helping them feel comfortable in the chair. The reception staff are always helpful and kind. The clinic has a large waiting room and plenty of parking.

She's kind and careful, and during my family's visits for check up and dental work, has always been clear about procedures and costs before undertaking work. I'm very pleased with the results and would heartily recommend Dr Karina and the whole team.

Fantastic experience: It was the first time taking my 5 and 2 year old children to the dentist and I couldn’t fault the experience. Both of my children were very anxious but the dentist (Anjali) and nurse were both so patient and caring. They went above and beyond to make sure my kids were comfortable. They even made the kids a balloon and they got to choose a present at the end. The ladies on reception were also so lovely. A great experience overall.

They have been amazing to deal with and amazing with the kids!, especially if they have been scared of Dental treatments. They are super patient and I feel very affordable when it comes to expenses as well.
