Negative experience: I am absolutely derverstated to say the least . Dr Maclean has been my gp for over 30 years. You don't stay that long with a gp that long if he wasn't a good Dr. Dr Maclean was very committed to his patients he would even go in at the weekend to keep up with paperwork chasing up what ever his patients needed . He took his oath very seriously and was always there to make sure that you got better . He wouldn't leave any stone un turned Dr Maclean wasn't in it for the money , he literally was there for you , as I have stated earlier he is the very best jp in the entire universe he is a absolute ambassador to all of the new Doctors graduating from med school. I have lost my rock and I have just found out that my partner has prostate cancer stage 4 . I hope that you can understand what I am going through right now . Dr Ian Maclean, I will miss you to say the least . Only you would understand how sherard I am . Words will never capture and express how lucky that I have been to be a part of your life's journey. I sincerly wish you all of the very best as you wind down to begin your retirement years ahead . Please follow your own advice and look after your self its your turn now I thankyou for your dedication for 30 years i hope that only the things come your way as nothing less would ever be good enough . Now its time for you to celebrate your dedicated career with many thanks . I can't get my head around what's happened to you may god bless you and your health

Fantastic experience: Consistently good quality of care, always able to get an appointment. Dr Jay Yazdian is knowledgeable, a great listener, I never feel rushed and I always understand what is going on. He is a great GP for the whole family. Lots of other great GPs at the clinic too for those times when you need an appointment at short notice.

Negative experience: I am absolutely appalled that medical one Moorabbin has fired my gp of over 30 years. The people that work there and upper management should be ashamed of themselves. Do you realise or even care about your doctors and the many people that rely on this one truly special doctor? Like me you will not see us again! So how does that help your bottom line, as its all about the money now. What about patient care? All lives matter, but obviously that's not part of your companies values.

Fantastic experience: Have been a patient of Dr Jay Yazdian for a reasonable time now, excellent Doctor who reviews all medical tests thoroughly and outlines the appropriate procedures / treatments plans to perfection. I am a Thyroid patient and Dr Jay explains the relevant blood test readings and prescribes the correct dosage to perfection.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Jay. He is one of the most attentive and compassionate doctors I have ever encountered. From the moment you step into his clinic, he makes you feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Jay takes the time to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and never rushes through appointments. His calm and thoughtful approach brings a sense of comfort and trust that is truly rare. It’s evident that he genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being and goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a dedicated and kind-hearted doctor. Thank you, Dr. Jay, for all that you do!

Negative experience: I had nothing bad to say about medical one,until my lovely gp Lucy Ryan left the clinic.I had been seeing her for 6 years and she was highly professional,efficient and caring.None of the other doctors compare to her professionalism medical knowledge and empathy.She recommended Dr Sharma and Dr George.I have seen Dr Sharma a number of times and I find her to be very cold and dismissive.I decided to see Dr George as my doctor.I recently lost mum,and had to cancel a few appointments with her.I had a scheduled appointment with her today,medical one messaged me to say she wasn't available today.I rang them back today to reschedule,they told me she isn't available at all.I was taken aback,because she always has appointments available.The receptionist was very unhelpful,I told her that I used to see Dr Lucy Ryan.The receptionists know me there because I saw Lucy every 2-3 weeks for 6 yrs.I know the receptionists by name.I am quite sensitive atm due to my mum's passing,so I didn't take well to her coldness.I had to book with a different doctor whom I haven't seen before,not too happy with that.I would really like an explanation as to why Dr George isn't available for me to see.I feel the handling of the situation was extremely unprofessional.Also when you do a phone consult,the clinic will ring you 5 minutes or less after the consultation to get the payment.I will be taking my business elsewhere

Negative experience: I used to think highly of this Drs Office but these days they give me the impression of that #one that there all about the money and # two they pick and choose requirements was that to make appointment you have to had seen the Dr in the last 6 months at the doctors office .clinic is under new management and most of the staff have left and it's seem that they pick and choose who needed to pay .let me be clear " They DO have bulk billing " but as I said they pick the people who can receive bulk bill .I Didn't know I needed to make friends with the staff so I can see a doctor. I also asked that can i make appointment with one of the other dr's that I haven't seen before but was told if I hadn't seen him or her before that there wasn't taking new appointmenr at this point so are no longer would be able too a Dr at this clinics ! why on their website when you book an appointment do they have all different doctors you can choose to go to go and see. And don't get me started on the negligence that's one of the doctors have caused every family member has ended up in hospital because of the dr's doing or not doing should I say. Now it's only about the money. Also called to make a appointment got hug up on 3 times and tried to call back it take me 9 times before they answered but had to read on one of their numbers.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jay Yazdian is a fantastic family GP that show a lot of care to his patience. He looks after both myself and my father and his knowledge and medial advice is outstanding.

Negative experience: I would not recommend Medi One Moorabbin.My usual Doctor was not available and so receptionist offered an appointment with another doctor.Reception could see from my record that I have a been a patient for many years and always been bulk billed.After waiting all day for a Telehealth consult the doctor assured me he would provide a script.Next day I received a phone call from receptionist stating that unless I paid the script would not be provided!Too bad if the script was vital to my health.Money was the only concern bad luck patient! Receptionist refused to admit that the onus was on them to inform me I would be charged. Appalling lack of care.Greed not need is the motto here.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jay Yazdian is caring, attentive n skillful helping me thru many years of my health n wellbeing. Through his medical approaches my ailments hv improved n healing. The clinic’s staff r supportive n cheerful. The nurse doing the care plan is helpful n knowledgeable. Each time upon leaving the clinic, I always feel confident my health is well looked after. Fantastic experience: Dr Jay Yasdian is an incredible Doctor. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, personable and vested in his patients. He has a vast array of knowledge in challenging health issues and is very patient and thorough with his investigation and treatments. I can’t recommend Dr Jay highly enough. Dr MacLean is an exceptional Doctor who has fantastic insight and knowledge. He is incredible with my daughter and is very caring, understanding and supportive. We are very blessed to have access to two amazing doctors in the one clinic. They are both well and truly beyond general Practitioners

Negative experience: What an appalling service by Dr Nivedita Sharma receiving this afternoon. It was extremely unprofessional the way she spoke and showed no interest or care for a patient. Wow, a total shame! Please don’t book the appointments with this doctor.

Negative experience: Appalling lack of service in the Melbourne Pathology section. Told at reception there would be 15/minute wait. After 50 minutes waiting I went to receptionist and was told I would be attended to in ten minutes. Sat next to open door to pathology for 15 minutes. No one went in or came out. Stuck my head around the door and saw pathology nurse resting back in her chair texting on her mobile. Walked off in disgust. Told reception staff I would never come back again. Should have gone to my vet.

Negative experience: The waiting time is unbelievable. Every time I visit I’m waiting for an hour before seeing the doctor. I understand that everyone, including doctors, has a busy schedule, and I truly appreciate the care provided. However, I’ve noticed that despite scheduling appointments well in advance, there has often been an extended wait—up to an hour—before seeing the doctor. I kindly suggest that, when there’s a delay, the receptionist or management could notify patients in advance and suggest a later arrival time, rather than having them wait in the office for an extended period. This small adjustment could significantly improve the overall experience for patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jay Yazdian has been my GP for 7 years and I can say he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Great bed side manners, old enough to be knowledgeable and also young enough to continue to be relevant and a good researcher of new methods and treatments in medicine. He treats my whole family and I feel very lucky to have found him in Australia. I have successfully quit smoking cigarettes lately and I am very grateful for Dr Jay’s support with medication, patches and good advice. I never thought I could do it and his non judgmental attitude and support made it possible. I feel much healthier and recommend the treatment with Dr Jay to anyone who wants to quit and don’t know where to start.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bessie George and Dr Jay Yazdian are exceptional family doctors! There knowledgeable, kind, and they genuinely care about there patients. They take the time to listen and answer questions, and there warm and professional demeanor puts everyone at ease. Negative experience: Today my GP Jay Yasdian discarded me after 10 years of being patient at this facility Because I caught him lying to me, and not being transparent and honest. The managmet and some GP here are just motivated by money with little duty of care for their patience, overcharging them with long consultation instead of short and their explanation is your are not much more out of pocket, regardless they are ripping off tax payers money through medicare. It looks like common practice here if somebody catches them, laying or try to rise the issues about it (what was my case today) they will refuse to give you treatment. I heared already few stories from the other people in my community. Regardles off all this , they charged me again today as a long consultation (what wasn't more then few minutes), as i went back today to ask him to fix his mistake from last week.. I rally felt, discriminated and humiliatrd today as never before. My blood preasure instantly went up, I had to take an exta medication

Fantastic experience: From the first contact at reception through to the actual appointment with my doctor you are treated with care and respect. It's also incredibly helpful that there is pathology testing on site, a wonderful selection of male and female doctors. I have been to several of the doctors here and they have all been positive experiences.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jay is an outstanding, very honest ethical, polite, professional but most of all extremely knowledgeable helpful and *genuinely* caring doctor. You can tell that he honestly wants to do the best for you and solve your medical problems no matter how big or small. Dr Jay takes his time and goes above and beyond to assist a patient, taking a whole-of-patient approach to your issues. I had an excellent GP in Canberra, but he sadly passed away in 2015 and it took me a few years to find someone as exceptional as Dr Jay. I have very high standards! He has helped me incredibly over the past couple of years. A few people in my neighbourhood have been seeing Dr Jay for years and they waxed lyrical about him, as have others I know in a nearby suburb -- I know why! I would highly recommend Dr Jay to anyone. At a time when exceptional doctors are in short supply and/or many GPs are overworked and worn out, I feel blessed to have found this clinic and to have Dr Jay as a GP. Dr Jay is also great at recommending really good physios and other allied health services etc. He's not let me down yet! And, he is veery well-reagrded and known by other allied health professionals I have been to. Dr Jay guy just genuinely wants to help patients and is so ethical and helpful. Also, if you have complex medical needs, this is the GP for you! So much useful helpful knowledge.

Once i made the doctor i see my primary doctor, i found my care was alot more thorough and helpful. They have been able to answer alot if my questions and trult advocate for good health. The receptionists are super lovely and helpful too. Spacious waiting rooms and overall make booking and seeing a doctor much easier. Glad i changed and happy with my care here at Medical One.

Negative experience: It use to be amazing, great doctors, now the clinic has become money hungry no concession bulk billing, so single mums/dads pensioners are all stuffed if we're sick and no money. Thanks government you've made life difficult for a lot of people struggling. Disappointing that money comes before health. (3 years old review) Tried to make an appointment with the Dr for my son who's 3, who had really bad croup but Dr said he wouldn't see my son, even though he was booked in, as he hadn't seen him in over a year and to find another Dr even though he had available time slot when booked over the internet. Drs would normally be happy to see him but in my sons case, wouldn't make an exception. I was very disappointed that day and scared for my son who got seen by a dr at another clinic as emergency appointment . (4 months ago review roughly ) I have nothing against any of the Drs or nurses at medical one. I acted as a scared mother writing this review a few months ago, and now no doctor will see my family members at this clinic and are all saying due to a relationship breakdown because I wrote two stupid review without thinking the consequences, of course no one will want to see you if you shame them or question them. I just wish they understood that being a mother can be hard, can be scary especially when there sick and your exhausted and a single parent trying your best with 5 kids, not wanting to let them down. However, Thankyou kindly to the beautiful reception staff for your assistance over the 12 years or so years and kind Drs who saw my children over the years . I'm sincerely sorry if I hurt any of your feelings by doing a stupid review, actions of a scared mother, feeling and thinking the worst for my son. I wish you all the best and more medi one. Fantastic experience: The doctors here are amazing, especially Dr Lucy Ryan. She always has plenty of time for you and does everything she can to get you the help that you need. I moved half an hour away from this practice but still keep coming back because I can't find anyone as good as her.

Fantastic experience: It’s easy to find a doctor as there’s a lot of them. Staff and doctors are friendly. Quiet on Sunday morning but fee is larger! I see Dr Coull who is cool and he’s very easy to chat to. I’m happy to see any doctor here though if he’s not available. I’ve been coming here for years. Plenty of parking.

Dr Jai Yazdian has been my Dr for 8 years, I moved 5 years ago to a different suburb and still use medical one services. Dr Jai is compassionate, caring, funny and always makes me feel important. Through his care I went from being an addict to being a productive member of society and drug free 2 and a half years, he has always treated me with respect from day 1. I also see Dr David Morrell as my psychologist and Dr David has always been the same as Dr Jai. I am extremely greatful to medical one moorabbin from start to end.
