Fantastic experience: I've found that good GP's are hard to come by but I've been fortunate enough to have found Dr Hayley. I've been a patient of hers for a while and she's so lovely. She takes her time to listen and I never feel rushed. She's very empathetic and understanding. Also shout out to Maria and the rest of the reception team. They've always been so on the ball with any paperwork or referrals that need to be chased up. Highly recommend this place :)

Positive experience: l moved to Moonee Ponds 5 years ago and l am very happy that l selected Medical One for my health needs. My doctor has been a great support and the nurses are very friendly and helpful. They have onsite pathology and car parking which is so handy in busy Moonee Ponds.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended the Hormone Hub with Dr Dawn Oi to talk through my perimenopause symptoms. She is a friendly and compassionate GP who can relate to the Mum juggle! We had a thorough appointment, going over my medical/health history and I was referred for a number diagnostic and blood tests. Bloods confirmed I was indeed perimenopausal and Dr Dawn prescribed a suitable HRT which has eliminated my symptoms. My DXA scan revealed low bone density which is unusual for my age (mid forties), I would never have known to test for this without Dawn's expertise. I now have a benchmark to compare against as I move towards menopause and highly recommend the Hormone Hub to other women.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Medical One for over ten years. My go to doctor is Winnie Li. She is amazing! Very empathetic, knowledgeable and kind. Winnie goes above and beyond to make sure all my medical needs are met. My experience with the staff and nurses has also been great. All the girls are very friendly and happy to help. Sandra, the practice manager has been especially helpful. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I feel so grateful that I’ve met these beautiful, caring angels.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent doctors surgery . Staff are friendly and efficient, they offer an excellent well organised service with excellent doctors . With services attached in surgery, you can have bloods dental and physiotherapy available. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Unbelievable that they now ask for credit card details when making online booking! We are not doing online shopping! Why do we have to provide credit card numbers? Scam? Already refusing to take cash payments, now asking for credit card details. What kind of clinic is this?? Online booking supposed to provide convenience to your patients and reduce calls to the clinic. Now we've to go back to phone booking and considering switching clinic!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Doctor Johar Saleem for the past 16 years. I met her when she worked in a clinic in Sunbury and when I found out she was leaving I knew I had to follow her wherever she went. Johar Saleem is a doctor that genuinely cares about you and does not care how long she takes to see you as long as she covers everything she needs to follow up with you. Johar is a great doctor and I strongly recommend her. All in all the staff are also very friendly and caring.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Brendan Fitzgerald and the staff at Medical One Moonee Ponds, especially Sandra and Olga has been incredible over the years I have been going but especially in the last month when I have requested additional support. Brendan is totally professional, knowledgeable, supportive and empathic to me as an individual and makes me feel a respected part of my health care. Sandra has efficiently replied and followed up to my emails ,hence making it possible to see a specialist and Olga is always caring , efficient and understanding with any of my concerns. Fantastic experience: Medical One Moonee Ponds always go above and beyond. From the excellent and efficient reception staff to the nurses and doctors. Dr Madeleine Palamara and Dr Brendan Fitzgerald are professional, personable, knowledgeable and genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of their patients.

Fantastic experience: The nursing, reception and medical staff are so friendly and helpful. They were recently extra supportive when my 4 year old had a meltdown over vaccinations. They helped us both through it, going out of their way to make vaccination a positive experience as possible. My daughter is now brave enough to face the next vaccine!

Negative experience: Didn't feel I was even able to discuss my issues. I understand needing to see medical history but telling someone with chronic pain to wait to look at your past history is not helping my situation. This client charges $100 as well which I would think would get you a long session & someone who attempts to listen. Making faces and a lack of empathy is a huge red flag in a medical professional. Won't be going back. I even let them know I was looking to get a new doctor as I had just moved to the area. Reception staff were wonderful

Negative experience: Dr Varga was absolutely terrible. Under a 5 minute consult couldn't help me. $105 later! Maybe the other doctors are good but I would never see him again!

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved from a different medical clinic to Medical One at Moonee ponds. With the few appointments I have made, I am extremely happy with the move. Reception staff are polite, courteous and knowledgeable, nursing staff are great and very happy with my change of doctor. Well done to the team.

Fantastic experience: All inclusive medical practice that allows you to book online, go to the GP, do your pathology and pick up your scripts in one spot without moving your car. It IS a private practice, so don’t expect bulk billing. You also won’t likely get an appointment if you just walk in off the street without booking. It is a very busy practice, they do have a large roster of doctors who are really informative and kind, but true to form if you want good customer service, be a good customer. Customer parking is available behind a boom gate on Alexandra Avenue and the reception staff give you the daily changing exit code. Public transportation hub at the door, and it’s mobility access friendly.

Positive experience: My experience here has been a mixed bag, not with the doctors but with the reception staff. Some are engaging and polite; others are cold and distant and make me want to cuddle a shark for comfort. On the medical front, I have found the doctor I deal with engaging, professional and knowledgeable. Very pleased, just got to do something about the consistently inconsistent reception staff or I'll be cuddling more sharks (dangerous occupation). My response to the owner: I'm not using my real name to post this review for my privacy, so naturally you won't have a patient named Juliett Echo. Rest assured, if you contact me privately, I can absolutely supply the details of all of my visits to verify that my feedback is based on real visits.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Medical One Moonee Ponds for many years, now my young family are regulars at the practice. The reception staff, especially Maryanne, Olga and Tylah are always there to help with nothing EVER a problem! Credit to their professionalism and genuine care for all patients. I will never forget when my 3YO projectile vomited everywhere and Tylah rushed to my help, that will never be forgotten, thank you again Tylah! The Nurses are fantastic as well, really are in great hands at this practice. All the GPs are fantastic and in particular Dr Jo and Dr Adrian, we’d be lost without your care, patience, knowledge and dedication. Thank you Sarah, Chris, Xavier and Austin.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I might be biased because I’ve been with Medical One for 4 years and Sandra the practice manager is basically like my mum now. But I LOVE the team! I’m going to gatekeep my GP’s name because of privacy reasons and SHE’S AMAZING I don’t want her to get booked out (she already is). I love the girls at the front desk as well we always find ourselves chatting about Taylor Swift or how cute their matching Frank Green water bottles are. If you think they’re rude then maybe you catch them at a busy time!

Negative experience: Don't have good experience with one of the female doctor over there. Their service is very expensive though.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been attending Medical One Moonee Ponds for over 10 years. Even when moving out of the local area, we always made our way back, as no other medical practice has delivered the level of care we receive at Medical One MP. Admin Staff have always gone above and beyond, as our family grew. They do what they can to get the kids in for appointments, and always manage to make us feel as though we are returning family. The doctors are all so professional, and genuine in their care. We never feel rushed or a hassle with any question or worry. Very rarely are the doctors running late, and even when they are, there is no pressure as a patient to rush through. Exceptional care!

I have been seeing my local doctor for years & just felt like I was just a number wasn’t getting the care and thorough consultation I was after. The reception staff were not friendly or happy to see you. Negative experience: Their service is generally not too bad, although I haven't backed there for a long time because of the cost involved. There's just one thing that I never forget: I usually attend appointment on time, apart from the fact that the waiting time is usually from 10-30 minutes (and GP doesn't always apologize). There was once I was 3-4 minutes late, and one of their reception staff used the blaming tone and said "Do you know you're late?" In the end, I was still waiting for another 10 minutes.. That's probably one reason why I don't go back there when I think about it.

Fantastic experience: Medical One Moonee Ponds is a brilliant multi disciplinary practice. I have one primary care physician there, however have consulted with three or four other GPs there and they have all provided me with exceptional and timely, professional care. The centre also has a physiotherapy practice and a pharmacy and I have used all services. The administration and front of house reception team are compassionate, kind and their communication skills ensure that the practice flows. The ladies are not just receptionists, they are professionals who triage, listen and ensure patients are comfortable. Thank you, Medical One, Moonee Ponds. Natasha

Negative experience: just got recommend to go to this clinic by a senior surgeon at Sunshine hospital but have been calling clinic now since 10am no anwser and often rings out no other contact details for this clinic will be telling my surgeon and others about this sad state of health care I can appreciate things are difficult at the moment however it stares clearly on your website to call if you need a answers to basics questions god help those in need of help form this clinic!!!! ............... shame I believe that the doctors are good here maybe they should answer the phone one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: **Updated review** Yesterday I attended the office after many months of phone appointments. I was greeted by Hamish the 2ic who I hadn’t seen for quite a while. She was very welcoming, loving and very intensive to my needs! I have been struggling the last few years with my health and it’s nice to have some lovely people who actually care for you! I’m treated by Dr Adrien D who goes beyond for all his patients. His very calm, listens and try’s his best for every one!

Fantastic experience: We see Dr Samantha Asirwatham at this clinic and we cannot express enough how amazing she is as a GP. We genuinely feel like we have found our family doctor as she is not only a wonderful and attentive doctor for me but also my 7 month old son. Samantha is very relatable, personable, caring and extremely knowledgeable in her profession. We wouldn’t go anywhere else or see anyone else now.

Positive experience: Offers a range of services such as chiro, dental, pathology and pharmacy. Great doctors ready to listen and help. Admin are ok and do the job. Parking can sometimes be difficult even with their own car park. No longer bulk bills for consultations unfortunately.
