Fantastic experience: Reception are always lovely, it's an inviting space, and Dr. Andrea Korkes is a fantastic, caring and thorough dentist.

Negative experience: Incompetent admin team. Dentists are great.

Negative experience: Inexperienced dentist. Not a good experience at all. My teeth feel like they've been chiselled with a jackhammer, even 3 months later. Like the dentist couldn't see straight and chiselled the enamel away, from upper and lower front teeth. The pain when drinking water and drinks. Had to buy sensodyne, and still experience pain. Went to other Pacific smiles previously, teeth never felt this way.

Every time I get a message saying yes/no for today appointment or x date appointment. I always say when I need i will come. But they still go against my will. This is not acceptable.

Every procedure—whether a check-up, filling, extraction, or anything else—has been pain-free and handled with exceptional care. In fact, he takes such good care that I hardly even feel like I’m at the dentist. What truly sets him apart is his dedication: he often stays back to complete the work properly and never leaves a job half done just to make it easier for himself. Fantastic experience: Got an appointment with one if the dentists there, it was a random decision as I had extreme tooth ache on Saturday and this practice was the only one i could find that would take me. I got an appointment with Dr.Nida Sbat who performed an emergency procedure on me on the day, I don't know if she had any time for that but she did it regardless as far as I'm concerned. I have been seeing her since then, she is very professional and her work ethic is commendable. My overall experience so far with the practice Including the receptionists has been great. They are also friendly and courteous.

During the whole process, Dr. R Gilani explained everything to me step by step and he was also very gentle as well. His patience and kindness helped me feel a lot less nervous. My advice is to spend money on your teeth as they are so important to overall health. Negative experience: I visited the clinic for a full dental examination end of January. While the dentist seemed experienced and pleasant, the receptionist's attitude was disappointing. There was no greeting—just a "What's your name?" followed by handing me the bill. When I attempted to address an issue with my health fund, the receptionist was dismissive and insisted with an arrogant tone that the processing was correct when it was not according to my health fund. There are plenty of good dentists in the city and I will not be returning to this clinic due to the terrible experience with the receptionist.

Negative experience: It is a bit too late to review. Happened almost 10 years ago. I already lost my first molar due to decay and was trying to save the second molar. The young dentist (then) could not even do a temporary filling as he was finding it hard to access. Recommended me to extract and get a replacement tooth. I was sceptical and consulted an old, experienced dentist near my suburb. He did a root canal and filling, my molar is still intact today. Seek second opinion elsewhere if they suggest expansive procedures.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ghada El Sayed is a first class dentist, always professional and has an extremely pleasant personality, really easy to relate to and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a dentist.

Negative experience: I attended Pacific smiles in great pain were a very young dentist removed a filling and put a new one in. The pain became so much worse, I returned and Doctor Hasmet told me straight away looking at my X-rays that I needed a root canal and a crown. Almost $5000 later, I questioned and asked could I be refunded for the initial filling. "No sorry" The receptionist was very understanding and friendly but the manager left it to them to explain it to me and did not come out of office. Doctor Hasmet very good dentist but unfortunately I will not be back to this dental surgery.

Negative experience: Very bad. Dr Ali Hansan tell me that I need filling on your ALL teeth and pay $$$ for it when other dentist said i dont have any issues after showing them the xrays. I will not recommend anyone here and especially to Dr Ali Hansan. If this happens to anyone, I highly recommend you to go to another dentist for a second opinion. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Pacific smiles for about 8 years and always seen Dr Ramanathan Chockalingam. He is a fantastic dentist who is based there a few times a week. He is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, soft handed, personable and friendly. He loves a social chat (as do I) and I can ask any lingering questions no matter how big or small. He has taken out 4 of my wisdom teeth and it was honestly painless, fast and all in the chair meaning very economical, compared to other wisdom teeth horror stories you hear. Pacific smiles has always been modern, clean, efficient, friendly and in an easy central location.

Despite being a loyal AHM member, this experience has left me disheartened. Upon arriving for my teeth cleaning appointment, I was dismayed to discover that there was a time constraint of 40 minutes, a detail that was not communicated during the appointment booking process. The discussion during the session focused excessively on teeth clenching and grinding, which I asked whether I am doing and whatbis the possibility but they detracting from the primary purpose of the appointment, which was cleaning. To my dismay, I was informed towards the end that due to time constraints, only my lower teeth underwent a "surgical clean," while my upper teeth were left untreated. This crucial detail was conveniently omitted during the appointment booking, leaving me dissatisfied and questioning the transparency of Pacific Smiles Dental. Furthermore, I was blindsided by the request to book another appointment, accompanied by an unexpected $175 Gap fee. Such essential information should have been conveyed upfront, allowing me to make an informed decision about my dental care and associated costs. I have visited various dentists in the past who provided comprehensive services without imposing time restrictions or surprising additional fees. This experience with Pacific Smiles Dental falls short of the standard of care I expect from a dental provider. As a result, I feel compelled to share my disappointing encounter with others to ensure they are well-informed when choosing a dental clinic. I am also exploring avenues to formally address these concerns through organized complaints against Pacific Smiles Dental. I urge you to reconsider your approach to customer communication and transparency to prevent others from encountering similar frustrations in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was introduced to Dr Rama through my bf who has been raving about him in the past three years. I'm very sceptical with dentists and have been having a major trust issue ever since I've got my nerve damaged by one from doing my bottom wisdom teeth extractions, and another had traumatised me from doing my root canal. But I finally gave Dr. Rama a go this year, and I'm thankful that I did. Not only he is very thorough when doing my teeth cleaning, he laid out all of the possible options I could do to improve my dental health, including referring me to a gum specialist. He's very to the point, he explains everything, the what, why, when, who, and how right then and there, he's nice to his assistant, and that makes me trusted him. I had been putting off taking my top wisdom teeth for years because of prior trauma, but it only took me days to decide that I want to do it with Dr. Rama, which in fact, he did a fantastic job with. I hope this review won't make it harder for me to see him for my next appointment, but it's a well deserved compliment.

Fantastic experience: My Dad lost his newly installed front crowns on his trip to Melbourne, this was the only dental clinic readily available for an appointment. We consider ourselves very lucky to have come accross pacific dental, dr Chockalingam was great, he went above and beyond to help us and did a great job creating a new smile for dad. Huge thank you to the team , especially to Dr Chockalingam. .

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the service. I changed my clinic to pacific smiles as this was Bupa preferred provider. On my first visit, the doctor dint have all the supplies for carrying out my fillings. The assistant was sent to bring in the supplies thrice while I sat there waiting with my mouth open. On my second visit, doctor refused to carry out a filling as the online system booked me as check up n clean. There is no option to book in a filling in online system nor was I told this needs to be booked via call. Instead I was told I am to be more careful next time instead of acknowledging an issue in their booking system. I asked if they have drinking water and the receptionist refused to fill the bottle for me. Not going in again. I would rather pay more out of pocket but be treated nicely.

It’s going to be even harder for me to get an appointment with him. In over 30 years of going to Dentist’s in Melbourne. Darren is the gentlest dentist I have ever had in my life. In the past, I never looked forward to going to see a dentist. But with Darren, I look forward to it because it gives me a chance to relax. I often fall into a deep sleep in the chair. I have never felt any pain or discomfort whatsoever with Darren. I reluctantly highly recommend him. Please do not book him because you’ll take that booking time away from me.
