I was reassured and felt calm the entire time I was in the chair and during an extraction of a tooth. (Which I was terrified about!) I cannot wait to bring in my children to get familiar with a place that takes the “fear” out of “going to the dentist”

I am always anxious about my dental appointments but the staff were incredibly open and gave clear instructions. The best dental experience I have had for sure. Don’t skip on this clinic. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Gary by my own dentist. I had a tricky extraction to be done and he specialises in such matters. Dr Gary informed me how he would tackle the extraction. He did a remarkably skilled and quick job removing the tooth. I can't recommend his dental work highly enough. I am an extremely nervous patient and he and the staff were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful. I would definitely recommend this dental team for all future procedures. Prices are competitive. Service is exceptional. And staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across a period of time, I have had examinations, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, wisdom teeth extractions (x2), restorations, and am about to undergo Invisalign treatment (in my 50s). All procedures have been carried out with great communication and care. In my opinion, this team really does go above and beyond. Five stars!

Negative experience: Please be wary of this practice, I'm posting my review after reading a news report detailing other dentists using similar unethical techniques. I went in as a first time patient, asking for a clean and check up. I ensured both were covered by my health insurance before I arrived. During my brief consultation jamie kang took multiple x-rays offered a brief examination and a referral to an orthodontist as advised by a dental nurse, declining to offer any actual dental care. I was then shocked as I was presented with a bill for out of pocket expenses as I left. The reception explained this was for the X-rays and that as the clinic is not a preferred supplier other costs were not covered. Essentially I did not give my informed consent to have X-rays taken, knowing that they were generating additional costs. I then cancelled my orthodontist referral as they had disclosed before the appointment that they intended to do the same thing. That is, generate a bill including out of pocket expenses for basically looking in my mouth for 10min and not actually offering any service.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend... Dr Gary and his team,they have the expertise and precision to put the patient at ease and make dental visits less intimidating and very pleasant. I find that the clinic is always updated with latest techniques and technologies which is quite impressive that made difference to my treatment..I am fully satisfied with my treatment . Fantastic experience: 2019 review: Legitimately the best dentist I have ever seen! Gary is not only a kind person, but he actually spends so much time explaining what needs to happen and help you understand the treatment options. The clinic set up is AMAZING! Having the TV on the roof so you can 'tune out' a little whilst in the chair is a complete game changer- highly recommend to everyone! Update 2024: Dr Gary has started seeing my children as their dentist, including my son who has autism and was soooo very good with him. Honestly could not recommend this Dentist more highly. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I attended the Cranbourne west Dental Clinic today for a tooth root removal and from the time I entered the building I was greeted with friendly staff. I noticed that the clinic was extremely clean,Dr Gary was very friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do, I felt no pain and was out very quick. I can highly recommend this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was very nervous as she had a stubborn wobbly tooth that wouldnt fall out so it needed to be pulled. Dr Jamie was extremely calm and patient with her. He guided her through the whole process and even respected her wishes in not wanting a second one pulled out. She managed to pull the second one out herself later than night. We will definetly go back when needed.

Fantastic experience: I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and everyone was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pain didn’t go away as I thought and I came back for a check up and a dressing free of charge which was great. Also getting a text after each procedure to check in was amazing. They also let me pick what show to watch while the procedure was happening as they have TV’s on the roof. Just all around a great experience considering I had to get a tooth pulled out of my face so 10/10 in all aspects.

Fantastic experience: Beautifully appointed Dental Studio. Well appointed and professional. Referred by one of his colleages that was not as well equiped to remove such a tricky tooth, Dr Gary took on the task with no hesitation and with utmost care and determination. I am indebted to him and to the other dentist that arranged for me to be seen so quickly. It was a traumatic exercise but I was in good hands and it needed doing. Checking in hours later to see if I was recovering okay as it was a very difficult extraction. I can thoroughly recommend Gary and his assistant. They made an unpleasant task as comforting and as pleasant as I could ever have expected.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a professional dentist you can trust, reach out to Dr. Jessica Lu. We were looked after by her and Bianca and both were very professional. We came through for a clean. My fiancé and I both agreed not only are they gentle on your teeth but Dr. Lu is thorough in trying to understand how she can help. We are definitely coming back for the custom whitening trays they’ve got on offer because we can control the level of white we would like to achieve before our wedding. We highly recommend them to all family and friends and especially because they’re genuine and do not use scare tactics.

Fantastic experience: I was at the dental clinic for my sister who was in a severe tooth ache and could not make an appointment herself. Dr Garry not only made an urgent appointment to see her but did not rush us at all during the appointment. He was calm and professional. Dr Gary very patiently explained the symptoms and what caused the damage. He also provided step by step options and treatment plans to my sister. We were sent the treatment options within hours of the visit. In all my years of visiting dentists, this has been by far the best experience. Fantastic experience: I recently had two wisdom teeth removed and neighbouring molars which were damaged by the wisdom teeth so in all 4 teeth extracted in one go on the left hand side staff were lovely as well as the dentist who educated me on the effects of smoking and the damage it does to your teeth I went in at 12:30 on a Friday and was back at work Saturday morning with work management and colleagues shocked procedure done in less than half an hour and happy to say three days later I’m no longer on pain medication only antibiotics for obvious reasons I have regret I didn’t do this 10 years ago I could’ve saved two teeth but with a fear of dentists from a young age I stood clear of them my big mistake round two now to do the other side same procedure but he will save one tooth which is great don’t hesitate to look after your teeth the expert team do a great job and I believe a wonderful service

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here after noticing a small hole in one of her back teeth. She was extremely nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Gary was awesome with keeping her calm, explaining what he was going to do and completing the procedure with no pain. Would definitely recommend and we will be making this our regular dentist!

Fantastic experience: This is now my second visit to Gary for a multiple tooth extraction and every time his made me feel comfortable in the chair, very careful but fast at the same time which is good because I hate being at the dentist. The dental assistants are always so lovely, making sure that I’m always okay because I’ve expressed how nervous I am. I’ll be recommending Cranbourne west dental to all my friends and family!

Fantastic experience: I booked for an emergency extraction, no appt was available for over 2 weeks. Within 24 hours I was contacted for a cancellation. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable and the service was outstanding from both the dentist and the dental nurse. I’ll be back for sure

Fantastic experience: I had booked into Cranbourne West Dental as a new patient after a recommendation from a friend for a tooth extraction and an X-Ray. I was in quite a lot of pain when I had called up, and they had managed to fit me in within only a few days of my call. Upon first walking in, the clinic was clean and the staff were very welcoming. I was booked in with Dr. Gary and a dental assistant Bianca. Both the dentist and the dental assistant made me feel super comfortable and relaxed as I have always had nerves about going to the dentist. They made the process easy and seamless - Could not recommend them more! The staff at this clinic are very accomodating and I will be booking at this dental practice moving forward for all my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: The Best dental appointment I've ever had. Dr Gary and his team were friendly and courteous. The practice/dentistry was Clinically clean, the suites were beautiful and technology was up to date in comparison to most other clinics. Dr. Gary was very knowledgeable, patient and not rushed in explaining things. It's been less than 24 hrs since I've been there and I've already spoken about him to some of my colleagues.
