I don’t feel pressured as he is reassuring and supportive of his patient’s choice. The price was reasonable considering the quality of service I received. High recommended!

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend MC Dental Doncaster – Especially Dr. Lisa I started experiencing severe tooth pain about three months ago, which radiated to my face and head. I visited Bupa Dental in Mayfield NSW and, despite having an X-ray, I was misdiagnosed with jaw dysfunction. I contacted them again to explain that the pain was clearly coming from my tooth, but the dentist told me there wasn’t much he could do. Three weeks later, I developed a severe gum abscess that persisted for three months. Despite deep cleaning by two different dentists (including at Bupa Mayfield), and even after X-rays were taken, the problem wasn’t resolved. When I came back to Melbourne and visited MC Dental Doncaster, Dr. Lisa immediately identified the real issue and performed a root canal surgery along with treatment for the gum abscess. In just two days, the swelling disappeared completely, and I was finally pain-free. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Lisa’s professionalism, skill, and timely intervention. Thanks to her, I was able to keep my tooth and finally get relief after months of discomfort. I highly recommend MC Dental Doncaster and especially Dr. Lisa for anyone seeking quality dental care.

With remarkable skill and precision, she managed to rebuild an entirely new tooth from scratch, something I didn’t think was even possible. The procedure was carried out under comfortable and professional surgical care. From the moment I walked in, Dr. Moradi made me feel at ease. She explained every step clearly, worked with great attention to detail, and showed genuine care throughout the treatment. Her expertise is outstanding, and it's clear she is passionate about what she does. The treatment was also reasonably priced, which made the whole experience even better. I have visited several dentists over the years, but Dr. Moradi is by far the best. She is confident, capable, and deeply knowledgeable. Positive experience: My first visit to MC Dental had both positives and negatives. The clinic’s location and environment are great, and the front desk staff provided excellent service—she was the highlight of our visit and deserves all the praise. However, when it came to the dental treatment for my child, the experience was disappointing. The equipment for children’s dental X-rays was not very child-friendly. They used a simple X-ray film that was too large for my child’s mouth, making it difficult to close properly and causing significant discomfort. The first attempt at taking the X-ray was unsuccessful, and by the second attempt, the dentist and nurse seemed to lose patience. The entire process made my child feel anxious and awkward. Additionally, the treatment plan recommended by the dentist seemed unnecessary. A simple filling and fissure sealant should have been sufficient, but I was advised that anesthesia and further extensive dental work, including metal crowns, were required. Following this recommendation would have turned a basic procedure into a $2000+ treatment plan. I understand that our appointment was at 4 PM, close to the clinic’s closing time, and that the staff may have been tired after a long day. However, the lack of patience and warmth in their approach made our experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return. I hope the clinic can improve its services in the future. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Anthony Nguyen is a wonderful dentist. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday as I had trouble removing stains. Not only did he remove my stains successfully but he gave me many suggestions to help maintain their brightness without having to outlay a lot of money. He also has a lovely personality which really helps when you may feel apprehensive having dental treatment. The reception staff are very friendly as well. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

She made us both feel at ease during our treatment with her. Unfortunately, we also learned it was her last day at the Doncaster branch and she will be relocating to Melbourne Central. We have made the decision to follow her there as we were very pleased with her service and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. James Yang. I’ve been to many other dentists and most of them either rush you, do quick cleans & are not thorough in their examinations. The last year that I have seen Dr James, he takes his time to explain what is going on with dental issues as well as continually checking in to see how you are doing during the checkup. The dentist can be daunting for some but Dr James takes the time & effort to ensure his patients are comfortable & educated when it comes to dental hygiene. Definitely recommend Dr James Yang.

Negative experience: Told the dentist not to polish my teeth please, because I have weak enamel. She agreed and also mentioned she saw crack lines, asked me if I grind my teeth. Then later started using a different type of "floss" on me.... I was surprised by the noise it was making and saw her put it on the bench. I picked it up and asked her what it is. It was a METAL file called a lightning strip. She said she used it to file the gaps bigger and make space as they were tightly packed. What kind of person does that after I specifically mentioned not to even polish, that I have weak enamel, that she saw the crack lines that I have?? I was so nice to her, we were getting along. So it was not some type of cruel revenge on a Karen or something :( she just went and did it and filed my teeth with a metal strip without asking permission, or even telling me what she was doing at the time. Then I got charged for a "first appointment" when I've been there many times. Incompetent dentists, avoid.

Negative experience: How come the dentist gave me a dental deep cleaning on the tooth while it’s infected. Should I get the antibiotics first and then have the deep cleaning after the infection goes away? Before the treatment, my tooth only ached when I bite. After the treatment, my half face was numb and despite biting or not, I had been suffering horrible pain and headache for 24 hours. I couldn’t sleep at night. When I am typing, my face is still swollen and hurts when touching it. I would only use your service once in a lifetime.
