Fantastic experience: Dr Victor Chai is awesome! Straight to the point, tells you exactly what to expect and explains everything very well. I had an extraction done by him in 15 minutes, not an ounce of discomfort and well prepared. Pleased with all staff service at my appointments.

Fantastic experience: This review is for both my husband and myself. Our first visit to this practice as well as the dentist. The reception staff were excellent. Friendly, professional and helpful. Dr jonathan Jom was outstanding in explaining carefully what he was going to do and all with sensitive consideration. Very polite which made us both feel relaxed and in good hands. He asked appropriate questions and responded with suggestions. An excellent and thorough clean and check up xrays were done which was the reason for our visit to him. We liked his approach not recommending heaps of work resulting in heaps of payment! So that was refreshing in itself. Whilst my husband had the full 45 minutes I felt rather rushed at the end and on exiting realised my consultation was 35 minutes and whilst the clean was excellent I would have liked to have asked a further question. He is very easy to communicate with and speaks clearly which can be a challenge through a mask. His attending female staff were good with one being excellent and the other probably learning so not as relaxed. Would we return? Definitely ! Thanks to all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jenny Moon was lovely and made me feel at ease when I am usually such an anxious person at the dentist. Very informative about the process. This isn't my usual dentist however I needed an urgent appointment and they were happy to fit me in, I will likely be back for any future appts.

Fantastic experience: Lovely, clean practice. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Dentist was extremely thorough. She provided me with lots of information for a particular condition I have. During the clean and scale, she gave me plenty of rest periods and was very gentle. Overall my experience was extremely pleasant, will happily return for future check ups &/or procedures.

Negative experience: In and out in 15mins $280, pointed to where the cavity was fixed. I asked about the rest of my mouth in regard to any other holes and was told that would need another appointment but was charged for an examination fee. Very disappointing, for my first experience.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with Dr Michelle Zhang. She is a very gentle, caring, thoughtful and very knowledgeable and competent dentist. I made my second appointment on the spot!!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Park Ridge Dental Clinic was pleasantly surprising from their lovely Receptionist Darli, to the Dentist Cheryl, and her assistant! Cheryl was gentle, very thorough and talked me through each step which calmed my nerves and encourages me to do regular checks. Thank you all for the best Dental visit ever!!!

Fantastic experience: Booked In for the same day as I woke up with a tooth problem. I walked in with a welcoming greeting, I was booked in for the $169 x-ray/checkup/clean/polish, got seen an 1hr earlier as Dr Chai was ahead of schedule. He took his time to see any cause of damage to the teeth - holes/ nerve damages etc. He takes you through what he'll be doing and also willing to sit down and have a chat at multiple alternatives to what could/may or have to happen. Have another appointment back this week coming. Definitely affordable and they do have repayment plans e.g afterpay/humm even better!! Thankyou Park Ridge Dental and thankyou Dr Chai

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with Michelle today during my daughters appointment. Very thorough, informative info and an easy feeling environment. My daughter has asperges and on the spectrum, I never tell her dentists her condition, saves all the drama lols. 1st time my kid has literally sat there, no hassles have to bring my mum for moral support. I get judged alot at other Dentist we have attended. But if you know the struggle of getting a kid who is on the spectrum to brush their teeth then u would know my story. Thank you Michelle

Fantastic experience: I had a killer tooth ache and my usual dentist was not available for 6 days. I contacted Parkridge Dental Centre and they were able to fit me in the next day with Dr Michelle. The tooth was extracted without pain. Dr Michelle explain what she was doing through out the process so there were no surprises. I was feeling so relaxed I was able to watch Young Sheldon on the ceiling mounted TV. Needless to say, I now have a new Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a filling done today with Dr Jenny, I am so happy with the experience. I’m quite sensitive even after the anaesthetic, so she kept that in mind through out my experience and ensured I was comfortable. She was very precise and took her time which I really appreciate! Also a big thanks to my dental assistant (I don’t have her name) but she was wonderful! And the suction was very comfortable, (I’ve had way too many uncomfortable experiences in the past) so I greatly appreciate that. Jenny and her assistant worked really well together. Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Michelle Zhang as a new patient and I feel like I've come out more educated about my teeth and feeling like I have more answers and confidence. She was very thorough, kind, and even went to the extent of offering to put seals in my teeth for extra protection as I naturally have deep ridges. No other dentist has mentioned this to me before (I didn't even know this existed) so I'm very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental practice. Many years ago, I had a bad experience while getting a filling, which made me very nervous about visiting a dentist. However, Dr. Michelle Zhang was incredibly understanding and kind. She took the time to go through all the treatment options with me, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The follow-up care post-treatment is a nice touch. The prices are reasonable, and appointments are easy to arrange. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Afterward, the dentist gave me clear instructions on how to care for the area and reassured me that the recovery would be minimal. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jonathan Jom is very attentive, patient, and provides great guidance for children. My son really enjoys his visits. We have seen other dentists before, but they didn’t pay attention to my child’s condition and weren’t willing to explain much. It’s clear that, when it comes to children’s dental issues, it’s important to consult several doctors. Dr. Jonathan Jom is definitely the best choice. My child still has another tooth to be treated, and we look forward to our next visit!

Negative experience: Had a very negative experience here 1 month ago. The dentist seemed inexperienced and kept on giggling every time she hit my other teeth while performing a dental procedure .

Negative experience: Terrible service, booked an appointment over the phone and received a confirmation text message only to be told when we went for our said appointment that it was not booked. No help from front desk staff who clearly couldn’t care less. Will not return or recommend.

Negative experience: I recently had an appointment with Dr. Victor for my child and was disappointed with his approach. Children often need extra care and engagement to feel comfortable during dental treatments, but Dr. Victor was very reserved and straight to the point. He didn’t make an effort to interact with my daughter or put her at ease, which I found concerning. On the other hand, my daughter has been very happy and comfortable with another doctor at the practice who takes the time to connect with her. I believe this kind of interaction is essential for pediatric dental care.

Negative experience: I went to dr Victor Chai with a hole in my bottom right molar & possibly holes in my top teeth. He told me it would be best I get the molar removed, I asked him to take a look and see if I needed fillings on top teeth he said “I don’t know I’m focusing on the bottom molar”then told me I would need to come back to look at the top teeth. It took him an hour to pull my tooth out and I mean it, it was the most TRAUMATIC experience. I’ve had 3 tooth extractions now, one of them being a wisdom tooth and this was the worst, despite being the numbest I’ve been for one. He was constantly hurting my top lip with how hard he was twisting the instrument, I couldn’t even breathe from discomfort at some points. I had to stop him a couple of times to tell him it was hurting me and he acted like I was a burden. He knew I was anxious about getting a tooth pulled, yet didn’t talk me through the process at all. Once my tooth came out I thought it was done but he started drilling into my gum to remove the remaining tooth. I was in EXCRUTIATING pain for the next 5 days, with the pain lasting 9 days total. I went back after 3 days and saw dr Jonathon as the pain was so bad I thought it was infected but it wasn’t. I went back after 8 days and saw dr Priya who was fantastic and put clove on for me which eased the pain. ALSO $495 for an extraction wtf?! Highly recommend not going to dr Victor especially for an extraction.

Negative experience: Would not recommend Dr Victor to anyone with kids. My 5 year old was very distraught, he was not comforting or reassuring with her at all. He acted as though she was a burden for being upset. He came across very rude & judgmental.

Fantastic experience: Posting for my friend Dawn Cuthel in relation to her sister Marian Gray. My sister Marian who is totally deaf had to have 2 teeth extracted today. She had not been to a dentist for many years. Dr Jonathon at Park Ridge Dental was so kind and gentle and reassuring which helped enormously to settle her nerves. Because Marian was totally deaf, he communated with her by writing everything on a word document for her to read. I would highly recommend Dr Jonathon to any nervous patient.

Negative experience: I attended my booked appointment and told the lovely receptionist I’m after a quote before proceeding (heard her conveying this message to Victor Chai) as I would like to know the out of pocket fees after private health fund (1st time using). He called my name, no smile/greeting brought me to the tx room. Had a look at my tooth (uncomfy with rough handling compared to my past experiences with all other dentists), said:”upper tooth treatment, IN THIS COUNTRY, it will cost you $3000-$4000 anywhere” (implying I should go back to my Asian country to do if i want done cheap? I did not ask for costs at other clinic in OZ, you just need to tell me how much does it cost to do it at YOUR clinic, and at end of the day you can’t even do the job after all the sarcasm as it’s a specialist’s job?!). Ok fine, move on to check other tooth:”filling will cost $2xx”. I asked about HF rebate for both treatments, he replied: “I don’t know, my job is only to tell you how much they cost” “So who can I ask? The reception?” “I don’t know, i don’t work for insurance company”, all in a very cold tone and nonchalent attitude. The kind courteous assistant said: “if you have your PHF card i can bring to reception to check for you”. I said:”my card is in my mobile wallet.” He then tells assistant:”it’s ok, she’s free to go” (sounds like I am trying to get out of his room because I cannot afford treatment as I asked for a quote before tx in the beginning or he simply cannot be bothered for my business? ) I walked straight out of the room, got a quote from receptionist (where the gap was only $20+ and i can well afford to get my filling done today if not for his rudeness. I had to rebook with another doctor for another day cos I wouldn’t want him to do it even for free! Just moved into this area and came in after reading all the good Google reviews and intend to enrol my son and husband into this clinic for all future dental needs, never expect to be treated like that. Now I am rethinking to send my whole family elsewhere for dental depending on the experience of my second appointment. What a way to spoil my morning uncalled for!

Fantastic experience: Dr Jakub and his assistant were amazing.. I had an extraction, it was quick and pain free. I suffer badly with anxiety and the assistant was very caring and made sure I was looked after and even wiped my tears away. 10/10 wish I asked for her name I was just too anxious.
