Fantastic experience: Doctor Aneka and Nurse Yana displayed professional acumen with my various visits to the chair. It was evident Aneka’s impressive bicep definition was a result of years of tight contact flossing, and similarly Yanas reluctance to lose her temper after I accidentally bit her finger trying to speak mid crown placement is a testament to their will to provide exceptional and professional care. Happy with the result of my teeth mainly though - Eating pain free has never been so enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: My first experience was yesterday and I was in a lot of pain and had to have a root canal. The dentist and assistant were both great. I’d also like to thank the receptionist who was able to get me an emergency appointment and then they called me today to check in on me! Great customer service.

Negative experience: Worst experience I had here, the dentist was rough and the nurse gave me the cup again and again for rinse my mouth and spit out WAS THE SAME ONE from the beginning, I noticed it because I found the blood around the cup never been cleaned. My mouth was numb at the stage, could hardly speak, so I had to accept it again and again.YOUR ACTION WAS SO DISGUSTING!

Fantastic experience: Today myself and my son with special needs went to the the dentist and we were seen by Dr Aneka Patel . I have to say I have anxiety going to the dentist it’s my big pet hate but Aneka and her assistant made me feel so comfortable guided me thru made me feel relaxed and made my experience comfortable. As for my son was exactly the same guided him and took her time with him I cannot highly recommend this dental clinic thank you again for your service today

Negative experience: Had an average experience here and wouldn't return, firstly when I went for a double extraction there was no bib put on whole being operated on like most other clinics, I wasn't offered to wash my mouth out after very yuck flavours in my mouth from numbing etc, had to fetch my own shattered tooth pieces from my mouth mid surgery. Then to top this experience off I'm left with just about the same amount of pain I went in with a month later, there is a sharp part poking me in the gum who knows what that is when it was meant to be a double extraction, went to get stitches taken out and they were cut badly then yanked that made me bleed and was very uncomfortable. Then moving onto the follow up appointment that I had half pre paid so was obviously a confirmation that I'd put a deposit, but while away on a work trip with no reception I was texted multiple times saying reply yes to confirm, Then the next was your appointment will be cancelled, followed by your dentist is ahead of time today if you can make it earlier please let us know, so by the time I got back into reception 3hrs before my appointment I had got all texts to say appointment wasn't going ahead yet at 410 20min before appointment its suddenly back on and my dentist is ahead of schedule.. Absolutely shocking practice not sure if they got the awards for best staff lunches or something but I definitely don't see it in there texting services or there workmanship.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to thank Dr Alex and Maria for their work on my two chipped front teeth. Dr Alex did such a good job. I’m Autistic so noises and dentists aren’t the most comfortable places. However, Dr Alex was very kind, explained things again if I needed, was very personable and he didn’t take it too hard when I refused to shake his hand upon meeting After both teeth were looked at and fixed, I walked out with a big smile on my face (or as much as I could muster with a numb lip) and for the first time in months I don’t feel I need to cover my teeth. 10/10 work. We were super impressed with our first visit, the team were pleasant and the Dentists and dental nurses really went above and beyond for our small children who were quite nervous. Fantastic experience: I took my 6 year old son here after he had an accident and pierced his lip with his top 2 front teeth. This caused them to become extremely loose and nearly fall out. From the moment we arrived, they showed empathy and compassion towards my son. Dr Angela and her nurse assistant made him as comfortable and relaxed as possible. They explained what they were doing, and gave me some options and costs on what I wanted to do. They numbed his mouth and within seconds both his teeth were extracted, and no tears or screams. He was very brave and they even gave him a reward for his bravery and a treat bag. I can’t thank them enough and the process was so fast that he didn’t even realize what was happening. Can’t recommend this dentist enough. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Due to a bad experience at a different Dental clinic in the past, I had developed quite a phobia but once I had my first appointment with Angela, I was so happy to find a dentist who listened to my fears and took them seriously. Fantastic experience: Dr Michael Daniell provided me with the most relaxing and pain free experience I've ever had at a dentist. He removed the decay in my teeth and did fillings as well with no pain what so ever and in the process alleviated my fears of the dentist of a terrible experience I endured at the age of 12 when they had struck nerves in my teeth (this did not happen at Avenue Dental) I trust this place with all my dental work as I didn't even feel the anesthetic enter my gums.

Fantastic experience: My son visited Avenue Dental and seen Dr Happy for his very first check up and routine clean. Fantastic experience: Was seeing a dentist here but they left the practice. I was nervous to see a new dentist I didn't know. However, I had nothing to be nervous about. Dr Irvin was and is amazing. He listen to my concerns, made me feel comfortable and managed to completely numb my teeth (other dentists found impossible to do). His work is of great quality, clean and tidy, and pain free. I also had a consultation for invisalign with Dr Irvin and he explained everything, took time to ask and answer questions and made the whole experience amazing. Can highly recommend Dr Irvin and the team at avenue dental murrumba downs ! Thanks mate !

Fantastic experience: My son received significant trauma to his 2 front teeth and needed 2 root canals and later bleaching for discolouration. The professionalism shown to myself and my son was outstanding. Dr Michael Daniels was amazing, very honest and calm. We will continue to use these guys as our family dentist now. I have a great fear of dentists but the way we were treated has changed my feelings. I cannot recommend Avenue dental enough. Thank you for everything the end results are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Had a visit with Dr Happy today. As a bloke who hates needles and gets the nervous/anxiety sweats when getting them. That all changed for me today., Not only is she amazing at what she does but I didn’t feel the needle at all and didn’t even know the needle was in till she said, “almost done”, yes I had my eyes closed. From now on I’ll only be visiting Dr Happy at Avenue Dental North Lakes and a huge appreciation to the staff as well made the whole visit great.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGERY IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF DENTISTS!!!!!! I was finally getting over my fear of dentists and wasted $3500 yes $3500 on 11 fillings which now cause me pain and I have sensitive teeth that were never sensitive before having these fillings done. The dentist did not listen to me as to which tooth was causing me extreme pain and insisted it was a different tooth that needed a root canal so I agreed as she was the “professional” IT WAS THE WRONG TOOTH!!!! So I had to go back the next day to have a root canal started on the CORRECT tooth! Now they are refusing any responsibility and I have to pay to have 2 root canals done for 1 tooth that was in extreme pain. Absolutely disgusting practice DO NOT GO HERE!

Fantastic experience: Ive been to the dentist 6 times in my life, only ever for tooth extractions. Never have I had a painless experience until now and this tooth i just got pulled was easily the most difficult of them all. Michael was incredibly reassuring and the speed he was working at was so impressive. Cannot rate michael and kimmi highly enough. Definately keeping their number for any future dental work. Fantastic experience: Visited this dentist with a toothache. Very anxious having not visited a dentist for years. Dr. Michael and his assistant were brilliant totally made me feel calm and at ease. The assistant was also very supportive and friendly. Reception staff were also very calming and friendly and gave a very positive atmosphere. Negative experience: Recently, I had an encounter with a dental clinic that exuded an aura of a 5-star hotel, with its tastefully appointed surroundings offering an overwhelming first impression. However, beneath the veneer of its sophisticated façade, my experience was rather less satisfactory. My condition was assessed by a junior dentist, whose clinical decision leaned towards tooth extraction as a measure to solve my dental problem. Regretfully, his listening skills fell short of professional standards. It appeared as though my concerns and suggestions received less attention than they deserved. Then came the financial side of things. Much to my chagrin, a considerable emergency fee was applied to my bill alongside numerous other unspecified charges. Thus, the final bill amounted to a whopping $800, a sum that seemed perplexing for what was denoted by the dentist as ‘a straightforward extraction’. Despite the clinic's luxurious connotation, its elevated fees, combined with the junior dentist's apparent lack of effective patient communication, left an unfavorable taste in my mouth. I have resolved not to grace this clinic with my presence in the future. Value isn't about the grandeur of a place, but lies in quality service and fair, transparent pricing. In this case, the disparity between surface opulence and professional caliber was disheartening.

From my first visit Dr. Angela made me feel at ease. I cannot thank her enough for getting my dental work sorted. Her kind & gentle nature really made all the difference.

Fantastic experience: Have been to Avenue Dental in North Lakes many times now with my most recent visit being with Dr Angela and can say the experience is like no other. The attention to detail is brilliant and my dentist every time has addressed any concerns I had. After seeing another dentist for years I now understand why this dentist has such great reviews. I never feel rushed and it’s always a pleasant experience. Reception staff are great as well - always a follow up call to see how I am going.

Negative experience: I initially spoke to the receptionist, explaining that I had an impacted wisdom tooth and required a removal consultation, along with an examination to determine if any fillings were needed. An appointment was scheduled accordingly. However, upon attending the appointment, the dentist informed me that they didn't have time to assess my need for fillings and that I'd have to wait for two months for the wisdom tooth consultation. The two critical issues I sought help for were unresolved. It would have been much more helpful if they had informed me about the two-month wait for the wisdom tooth consultation upfront, saving me from enduring the pain while seeking assistance elsewhere. Nevertheless, they did have the time to clean the impacted molar wisdom tooth site. This procedure, following the agonizingly painful sedation injections, was carried out. Unfortunately, in the days that followed, I experienced excruciating pain, and now, a week after the injections and the painful abrasion of the gum and molar, I have developed an infection at the site. I'm feeling feverish, experiencing headaches, and nausea. Upon contacting them to report my symptoms, they initially flatly refused to see me. It was only after persisting that they offered to provide a prescription for antibiotics, which I picked up. However, they continued to resist making an emergency appointment for me. After recording the conversation and insisting, they eventually changed their stance and managed to offer an emergency appointment within the hour. To make matters worse, when I went to make the emergency appointment, I could hear the receptionist laughing in the next room, which left me deeply dissatisfied with their level of professionalism and care. This situation has been extremely frustrating and concerning. Would not go back.

Fantastic experience: We were so pleased to have Dr Deborah Du again as she was our dentist at Margate Smiles for years. She is the only dentist to ring me up to see how my filling was going the day after. Because of her we came to Avenue Dental. We were sorry to learn she is now going to study to be an orthodontist. What a great dentist she was.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience I was really nervous about getting my wisdom tooth out & Dr Michael Cho & Kimmi were amazing with making me feel extremely comfortable. Kimmi was super friendly and professional also asking if I’m doing ok & same as Dr Michael Cho. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have massive anxiety attacks about going to the dentist but Dr Richie and the whole team but me at ease. Martina is awesome at the front desk. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I’m now more comfortable to go back and get all my teeth sorted. Thankyou Dr Richie and the team.

Fantastic experience: The team makes you feel comfortable and supported from start to finish, it doesn't take long to put your trust in them. Prices are fair and affordable, reception is lovely to deal with as is Dr Michael and his assistant Kimmi. Would highly recommend Avenue Dental North Lakes to anyone, especially those who feel anxious about the thought of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Every experience at this dentist is made easy. The front desk is so pleasant and welcoming (special thanks to Martina, your service is exceptional!) and I cannot say enough great things about Dr Michael (you are incredibly genuine and thoughtful, thank you for being so patient and kind) and his assistant Kimmi (thank you for making these visits fun and being so sweet!). Don't go to any other dentist, they'll always be second-best while these guys are here.

Fantastic experience: Over the last 20 or 30 years I went to the same dentist at a large practice in the centre of Brisbane. A couple of years ago he retired and soon afterwards the practice closed, so I needed a new dentist. Avenue Dental was near our home in North Lakes, and we often shopped in Hilltop. At Avenue Dental I was allocated Dr Ritchie Lee. He was particularly good at explaining the potential problems with my ancient teeth and I appreciated being shown actual photographs of my teeth to illustrate what might require attention. Radiographs are nothing like as informative to me as his photos! I was extremely impressed with Dr Ritchie as a very friendly, skilful and competent modern dentist. I will obviously continue to see Dr Richie Lee at Avenue Dental!
