Negative experience: As a practice owner, I have found working with Health Engine to be increasingly difficult due to ongoing issues with practitioner availability and the platform’s management of bookings. Practitioners frequently drop out of availability, resulting in last-minute disruptions for our patients and staff, and making scheduling unreliable. Additionally, we have encountered issues with the way no-show fees are handled. Although Health Engine’s payment system is designed to process cancellation fees and protect practices from lost revenue, the experience on the ground is less seamless. There have been instances where the platform seems to charge patients (or us) for no-shows or existing patient bookings without clear justification or transparency, and at times, without the service actually being provided. Ultimately, the lack of consistent practitioner availability and unclear charging processes have made managing our practice through Health Engine more stressful than helpful. We expected a reliable system that supports both our patients and our business, but these ongoing issues have undermined trust and efficiency.

Positive experience: I have been using Healthengine for almost 5 years and I like this experience and for the past 5 years I have been showing Dr Marium Gufran and she is really nice and supportive also it is really quick to book an appointment doesn’t take too long

Negative experience: I've used Healthengine for some time on my pc, as it is the platform my doctor of many years uses, however, I installed the app on my phone and found that it wouldn't allow me to login to my account, using the same login details. When I tried to call Healthengine to sort the problm with the app, I found that they do not answer their phone number, no matter which option I choose to be put through to. Such denial of service is not good.

Negative experience: Complete scam paid 30$ for a medical cert convered the wrong days asked for amended one -only asked me to pay again - complete scam

Negative experience: Charged me $24 I booked a Video Consultation and no one contacted me. I reached out to their receptionist she said doc will call me. No one called. Bloody scammers

Negative experience: No ratings or pricing of the practitioners on the app. I got ripped off by Katrina Creighan. Claimed to be a business called Subiaco Podiatry but no such business exists. Health Engine allows rip-off merchants to masquerade as established businesses but they’re not. This app is convenient, but comes with plenty of strings attached.

Negative experience: App works well although they found a loop to rip off money. I was charged $69 for a short video consult with the doctor because of holiday hours but when I spoke to the doctor he was working for a company called Hola Health and when you download the Hola Health Phone app the same consult is $39 any time of the year. HealthEngine just made $30 piping the middleman.

Negative experience: Can be good, be wary of scam practitioners on the app. Hola Health charged me for a consultation, didn’t show up and to this date has not returned the booking fee.

Negative experience: If I could give 1 star I would. Do not do if you are allied health, they are scammers and will take your money. Happy to name specific emploees.

And it bring up appointments for the day, but also keep Doctors that you like or other doctors who have appointments if you need to see someone straight away. Definitely recommend it

Negative experience: Your system has been hacked. I received request to contact my doctor for no reason. Later, I get a reminder of an upcoming doctor appointment on 6 June that I never keyed in. Hope my personal information have not been sold in the dark web

I can also choose GP, Nurse, etc when booking and have the full schedule of available appointments for the Surgery. Have not had a problem with HealthEngine and find it faster than calling the Surgery itself.
