Negative experience: Dr Arenas does not give a damn about his patients, just wants to get them in and out as fast as possible. I tried to let him know, that due to changes in my medical history, he needed to be careful with what he prescribed for me. He totally ignored me, and kept talking over the top of me. His attitude simply reassured me as to why I generally avoid this clinic.

Negative experience: I’ve called every day for the past week and half because I was sent an invoice for an appointment that’s meant to be bulk billed. Been on hold for over an hour each time without an answer. In the middle of the day in school time, when they aren’t busy. Unable to get a hold of them at all. But yet, when I’m in the centre, they make the customers who are in line, wait while they answer the phone. Absolute joke. Have looked for an email to email them instead but of course they don’t have one. I have a young baby and can’t justify wasting time going into the centre when I could just call, but how hard is it to answer the phone??

Negative experience: I have been trying to obtain my clinical notes from a medical appt I had at this clinic two years ago, and the process has been incredibly frustrating. I now live interstate and these reports are for something quite serious, so I cannot simply go into the clinic to request them in person. The surgery does not answer their phones. I have been on hold for over two hours on multiple occasions and no one ever picks up. They claim they do not answer calls because they are a walk-in clinic ( as per another review) but not everyone is calling to book appointments!!!. Some of us need to discuss important matters such as accessing medical records, which are essential for our ongoing care. I have also tried emailing the clinic and have received no response. For a medical centre, this level of unresponsiveness is completely unprofessional. Patients should not be left without any way to communicate with their healthcare provider, especially when the matter is so urgent!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. Doctors just try to get you in an out asap, don’t ask you any questions and talk over you. They have no intention of trying to find out what is actually wrong and just write up scripts for the hell of it. I was offered a prescription for “antifungal medicine” after antibiotics and antivirals hadn’t worked and I asked if he thought it was fungal and he said no. Tell me why any respectful doctor that cares about his patient would prescribe medicine he doesn’t think would help. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, save your time.

Negative experience: The name should be our medical picnic place!! Bring your water and other supplies from home to survive. Because here you never know if you having something bad . Door are straight to hell no karma required here . How any medical centre have 25 cabins for doctor but there are only 3 doctors available and wait time is almost 4 hours. Don't ask me about treatment my tears will come . Don't judge this is joke i feel for patients who really are sick and seen waiting them for all these hours. Good luck if you see this review still plan to go.

Negative experience: Avoid this place! You’ll be sitting there in a non existent Que with a sick child just to be turned away at 10pm when the doctors decided they’ve done their job for the day!! Despite being checked in for over half an hour. Dr Reza Hayatbakhsh you absolutely failed your duty of care as well as took a human right for access to healthcare away from my sick daughter. You should be ashamed of yourself. There’s no compassion anymore just money money money. As a nurse, this place is disgraceful.

Negative experience: Will never come here again. Brought my daughter in after she dropped something heavy on her foot, gp I saw looked at her foot (not examined just glanced at her foot quickly) and said it's not swollen so it's probably fine, continuing on to say you can get an X-ray if you want but i think it's fine. He basically laughed at her when she tried to express her pain and told her to take Nurofen. Was in there for less then a minute. I took her somewhere else who recommended xrays and turns out she actually has a small fracture in her foot.

Negative experience: Absolute time waster. Could be a solution in case of urgency only! Don't do any tests here as you will have to wait for the doctor twice - for the request form and for the result. Even if it is all good and there is nothing to discuss! Two times by 2.5 hours!

Fantastic experience: Bec, Bri and the girls (sorry I don’t remember your name) are the most wonderful nurses you can come across. I’ve had a lot of issues recently and they’ve always been there to triage and make sure I’m seen asap. People are always quick to complain about nurses, but rarely say thank you. Dr Sally has been fabulous too. It’s the first time I’ve found a doctor that genuinely cares. Hope you enjoyed the treats ladies. I really appreciate it.

Negative experience: Arrived at 635pm. Regularly told 2 hour wait. At 2 hours 40 told closing in under an hour and won’t be seen tonight. The system is poor that shows multiple Dr’s available when not the case. Save your time and see somewhere else.

Negative experience: This bulk billing clinic model is an absolute joke. You have to be in the premises to book yourself in for an appointment. Thinking that the week day evening will not be so busy i drove there only to then see a message come up that there are not any available bookings for the night and to try again tomorrow. I can appreciate all other comments that the waiting (even if you do get an appointment) can be several hours. An absolute waste of time. Go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: **"Great environment, great service — heaps of seating and the doctors are always professional and polite. The only negative would be the wait times during peak hours, but that’s just because so many people go there. I reckon they should ask patients upfront if it’s just for a prescription, because I waited 3 and a half hours to see the doc for 5 minutes, just to get a script and medical certificate. It’s like waiting in line at a concert All that said, every time I go, I always walk away with a positive result. Best advice — get there before they open and wait in the carpark. That way you’re in and out without the long wait. Great outcome and service overall — I rate this place."**

Negative experience: I generally refrain from leaving negative reviews, but I believe this experience may help both patients and the clinic reflect on what constitutes compassionate, evidence-based medical care. I presented to Dr Sally Aquilizan few days after sustaining a significant injury—falling from a 3.5-metre roof while cutting branches. I had a large contusion (10x20cm) behind my left knee, sharp pain when weight-bearing, and sensory loss over the bruised area. In addition to the injury, I developed systemic symptoms including chills, rigor, muscular and joint pain, gum soreness, migraines, persistent coughing, indigestion, and cold sweats. When I sought help from Dr Aquilizan, hoping for clinical investigation and professional support, I was instead met with what I can only describe as dismissiveness. My concerns were trivialised under the phrase "we call this man flu"—a term that may seem humorous in casual conversation but is inappropriate in a clinical setting, especially when directed toward a patient seeking care. Her tone implied that I was exaggerating my symptoms and being unnecessarily anxious. When I requested a test for influenza or COVID—partly to protect my workplace and family—I was told dismissively, "you can do the swab if you want." This response left me feeling humiliated, invalidated, and ultimately distrustful of the care being provided. To her credit, Dr Aquilizan contacted me the following evening after the swab result returned positive for Influenza A. Her tone and demeanour had markedly changed. She acknowledged the seriousness of the illness, advised on rest and hydration, and expressed concern over my symptoms. While I appreciated the follow-up, the stark contrast in her responses before and after the confirmation of Influenza A raised ethical concerns for me. Should evidence be the only trigger for compassionate care? Patients seek validation, guidance, and support—not ridicule. Respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care should not hinge upon diagnostic confirmation. This experience has significantly affected my trust in the general practice system and highlighted the ongoing need for greater sensitivity and professionalism in primary care.

Negative experience: Initial visit was fine. Since then had no communication, tried to go in but the receptionist was to busy setting up other people’s wifi on their phones. My results have been sitting on my health record for 3 days but haven’t received any notifications and won’t answer their phone what so ever.

Positive experience: I have seen the same doctor here for the last 5 years, Dr Arenas is awesome for me, I have chronic pain and multiple issues but he always listens to me and is kind and caring Yes wait times can be long and it’s frustrating when you just want a script, BUT people need to remember this is a bulk billed clinic. Most clinics are now charging so be grateful that you can still see a doctor for free. I wish Telehealth would be available for regular patients like myself who just need my regular scripts once a month. These doctors see so many patients during their shifts Be patient and give them a break, they are doing the best they can.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service. The app makes it a breeze to see a doctor any time, free of charge. The doctor I saw was very knowledgeable and noticed a skin cancer, which will be biopsied. I also got e-scripts for heart medication, which I have been on for years. Very clean and modern, I would recommend to the utmost.

Negative experience: Dr Edgardo Salamat seen me 2x in a week for a cyst on my neck he then told me to come in Saturday for a procedure to remove this cyst for him to say he won't be doing it today as he said in his words where " if I cut it out it will paralyse you" like why tell a patience that? For then for him to send me for an ultra sound not an MRI scam to see if this cyst is sitting on a nerve or directly on my spinal cord ? He needs his liscense revoked !

Fantastic experience: Great doctor Reza staff very friendly and chemist open same hours 7am - 10pm One problem is you cannot ring up and make an appointment and nobody answers their phones which makes it very difficult when you really need to see a doctor I know you can just go in there and wait like everybody else and the waiting list doesn’t usually take longer than half an hour but you need to be able to make appointments to come back and see the doctor that you’ve seen but you can’t do that because nobody answers the phone ever I think it’s something that needs to be fixed in this surgery, but that would be the only thing everything else is fantastic

Negative experience: Gp used to be fantastic have used her for yrs now my sons medical condition has changed her attitude has as well. Her words “this is giving me a head ache it’s not my problem it’s there’s”..dont u go to a GP to get support and guidance or most recent I can’t do anything that’s his peditricans well seeing she knows his age would realise he is under a neurologist but simply doesn’t seem to care.. not to mention both times I’ve sat there 4-5 hrs waiting to be seen. I don’t mind if the compassion and care was there but it’s gone south and I’m on the hunt to find a new dr who actually cares. And one that sticks around for more than 5 mins and speaks English would be amazing. If the work load is such high demand take on a more manageable work load then you would be under pressure and u may actually start to enjoy ur job which you study so hard for…so no I wouldn’t recommend this practice or in particular 1 GP.

Negative experience: "We answer calls 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday" That lie is being played on loop while you're on hold. I was on hold for 2h, 3h and then 4 hours on Wednesday to no avail. After driving over to sit in queue for 3 hours, I was told by one and only receptionist that phone calls indeed do NOT get answered because it is a "walk in clinic". Why not play THAT on loop to people waiting on hold! I already consulted a doctor over a week ago and he only had to forward a letter that he forgot to forward earlier. A patient should not have to listen to 9 hours of phone hold music, then spend half a day driving and waiting in a queue just to get them to FORWARD A LETTER! No phone support. No email support. No messaging on their app. 1 receptionist for the whole massive clinic. Under-staffed and under-managed. Too busy maxing their profits.

Negative experience: I’ve gone to OurMedical down the coast my whole life and they’ve been absolutely terrific. I’ve just moved up to Brisbane so thought I’d stick with what I know works. Went here to get some prescriptions refilled for a condition I’ve had for over 6years with NO issues before. I waited well over 4hours to be seen. Finally got seen and was refused my medication because the Dr ‘wasn’t comfortable’ prescribing them ??!!! WHAT. How can you be a Dr that helps people yet refuses to prescribe what I am asking for and have proof of being prescribed for the last 6years ? I was balling my eyes out because without this prescription I will be in unbearable pain & most likely end up in hospital when a flare up occurs. The Dr could not care less that I was crying and just told me to go wait again for another Dr that may or MAY NOT prescribe the medication but she also refused to let me know which Drs do and which don’t so i would’ve had to wait over and over again until one of them were able to help me. I have never left a bad review before but this was genuinely such a disappointing experience. You are our DOCTORS we come to you when we need your HELP.

Fantastic experience: From a very friendly receptionist to a Dr who listened and was helpful to the nurse who gave me my shot and even to the fact that there is a pharmacy on the premises. All the staff I spoke to were friendly, helpful and professional. I am so happy that I finally went in and enquired about the practice. The fact that they bulk bill is the icing on the cake.

Fantastic experience: My issue arose on an evening in the middle of a group of public holidays. The doctor was very thorough. He listened to my issue, checked it out and on seeing it needed resolving he wrote a script for some medication and discussed with me how to use it. I was able to purchase the medication at the adjacent pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: As a non-Australian just visiting, it was surprisingly easy and convenient to see a doctor on short notice and it wasn‘t even as expensive as I expected it would be. Just $100 for a consultation and giving a sample and going back to discuss the test results didn’t even cost anything. The app was really helpful also and the staff was super nice.

Negative experience: The reception ladies have always been super friendly, so this isn’t for them! This is for the doctors. I saw one of the female doctors in January who had me get some things done. Come February, I went in for my results and the GP said she would send off a referral to the hospital as a Cat 2 and to call them if I hadn’t heard from them by the 3 month mark. I wait the 3 months, suffering.. but being patient. I call the hospital and they go “what referral?” Which is how I found out Dr Aurora never even sent it. I call the clinic and the receptionist I spoke to said she will chase it up and get back to me, however I never heard back. I call back again 2 weeks later and speak to Dr A who says they now want another test. I go in for it and she tells me she will re-send the referral as urgent and to go get a blood test saying the pathology was still open (it wasn’t) so I go home with the biohazard bag I was meant to bring back in only to get home and see she’s put my physical sample in the bag. I take it back and wait 2 weeks and hear nothing. Once again, I call the hospital and no referral was sent. Again. I call back up only to be told Dr A is now away for a few weeks and nobody else can send of this referral so I need to see someone else to basically start over. At what point can I declare medical negligence because I’m about too. Dr A also failed to provide a proper mental health support. She also knows I’m suffering quite a lot with medical issues. I’m really frustrated. I can’t speak on all the doctors, but I wouldn’t Recommend seeing them for anything more than a cold, because some of them do not care. I’ll be changing doctors obviously but went here as it was most convenient with my work schedule but I think a review was needed to warn others.

Negative experience: Receptionist was amazing, but absolutely disgusting and completely embarrassing experience with these doctors. Recommended to come here from the hospital with the exact medications they said I needed to get from a GP until I see my pain specialist or my regular GP (who is on holidays) to help manage chronic, severe pain (fractured spine, bulging disc, pinched nerve, advanced arthritis of the back and knee & a cracked rib) and was told to take Panadol. When I told him that the medication I’m taking does not help he laughed and said have you tried nurofen. Absolutely appalling to be ridiculed by someone who had no interest in hearing what my concerns were & what kind of pain I am going through and a doctor who apparently went through years of training in regard to helping and supporting patients in all aspects of health management. Don’t know where he was qualified but definitely don’t know how that was acceptable. No extra support, no other options on how to help. I asked ‘I’m just expected to sit in debilitating pain for 3 weeks until I can see a pain specialist’ in which I got the reply ‘Yep’ or go back to the hospital. Absolutely no further support or options to help, just tried the shove me out of the room as quick as he could. He then proceeded to laugh at me as I got upset and anxious after him telling me I just have to suffer. I never make bad reviews but I’ve never felt this level of lack of compassion or medical intervention from any doctor ever. Absolutely disgraceful, I will be officially reporting this to the Health Ombudsman for negligence. This is the second time I’ve had to do this now & im grateful that the OHO takes these situations seriously as Doctors like that should not be able to be a ‘support’ to the community at all. Fantastic experience: I have never experienced such a well-run and organized practice. All staff were incredible and the doctor I saw was amazing and caring. Reception was welcoming with a smile. The Nuse was brilliant. Then I was bulk billed which was unexpected. Great practice model at this surgery. Thank you for making me feel valued.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists were very helpful when I had let them know I was unable to download the app and gave me a hand. Then directed me to where best to wait for my doctor and that was that. The fee was bulk billed and the hours are incredible. Definitely would come back!

Negative experience: Friend had active shingles. Was prescribed medicine for NON-ACTIVE shingles. Caused extreme pain for her. Pharmacist was lovely though, despite not getting a refund for the wrong medicine. Don't trust what they give you, read it for yourself if decide to still go here - not reccomended if can be avoided though, just pay the money for a better place if possible.

Negative experience: The doctors and staff were lovely but the wait time is beyond atrocious. I went in on a Tuesday and was waiting for two and a half hours to see a doctor. Today I needed some more information regarding a referral but didn’t have the time to go in for a full appointment so thought I’d call. I’ve been on hold for over two and a half hours and feel like they’re waiting until the phone line cuts off at 5pm so they don’t have to take my call.

Negative experience: I want Dr Ghanta’s medical license revoked. I went to get a this centre to have a referral as requested by my local cardiac department due to my ectopic heart rhythm. I experienced some significant changes to my symptoms and signs, and I myself am a qualified cardiac physiologist and requested this referral. Dr Ghanta dismissed this request and only provided me a referral for a holter monitor, no ecg, health check up or heart rhythm analysis was provided nor did he ask about these symptoms at all. After 30 seconds in his office he opened the door and dismissed me without further investigation. My symptoms could have been extremely dangerous and I feel this was treated as if I was a burden to his schedule. It seems this “doctor” only cares to line his pockets and not patients health. I promise you, I will be escalating this to the medical board for further investigation.

Negative experience: You get what you pay for. Some drs are great. Some are not. I am currently sitting at home crying because iv been to the dr twice in the last 7 days. I feel like they don’t listen. Some appointments I don’t even get an opportunity to sit down and explain what is going on.I was given a referral for an ultrasound… for the wrong body part. Glad I noticed before I handed over any money to the ultrasound clinic. If I could afford to go elsewhere I would. I AM NOT A JUNKY AND IM NOT A HYPOCHONDRIAC. I just need some help.

Fantastic experience: I was sceptical at first due to reviews here, but having gone there twice now I really appreciate how efficient and modern everything is. You check in with an app, which instantly tells you your place in the queue. I found that I can often simply walk in and be seen within 15-20 min unless it's really full. You then get a notification on the phone as soon as the doctor is ready to see you. Doctor I dealt with was very professional. Best part - it's all bulk billed (unlike other places where i would have to wait up to 2hrs just to get charged $60+ at the end)

Negative experience: I am pregnant with my second baby trying to get information sent across from the other medical centre in Loganholme. It’s extremely frustrating when I call either medical centre and no one answers and when they do they tell me they will call me back and never do. It’s getting to the point now that I just want my information so I can go to another doctor. Not worth the bulk billing!!!

Fantastic experience: I been here a few time and it's a great doctors here and the nurses are always very kind and make you feel safe but one of the nurses Becky went above and Beyond for me I have austim and anxiety and been having chest pain Becky made sure to make me feel safe she allowed me to stay in here nurse bay with her and kept an eye on me to made sure I wasn't in to much pain and wasn't to uncomfortable as she knew when im the waiting area makes my anxiety and blood pressure high she is literally one of a kind and one of the best nurses she makes our medical centre way better Thank you too all the nurses there and a big thank you to Becky

Negative experience: I have been here a handful of times only because we're new to the area. I have only had 1 good experience that was with Dr Aquilizan. Do not go to see Dr Ifey!!! I have seen her three times (giving the benefit of the doubt) and every time I was made to feel like anything I asked or said hurt her head - as if she just had a constant headache or it was a huge inconvenience me being there for medical reasons. She made me fill in my own referral and then gave me the wrong referral form which I wasn't aware until trying to get my test done..

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here quite a few times over the years and seen it grow in popularity obviously due to it being one of the few places left that bulk bill. Because of this no matter what day or time you go it is normal to wait 1-2 hours. I suggest only using this service if you really can’t afford a doctor who doesn’t bulk bill or you need to see a doctor that day and willing to wait patiently. Because they are busy you may feel rushed. I’ve seen about six different doctors here and have good experiences with all of them.
