Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional. Do NOT book with Dr Kamal Kaur. As a nurse i find it extremely frightening that a Dr would document incorrect, made up information. 1. Telehealth call booked for 11:30, Dr called at 12:45 - no apologies. stated does not yet have my x-ray result and will call me back at 15:00pm to discuss my results. I call back at 16:49 to be told my the receptionist to be told that is had be documents that the Dr explain to me it has to be an in person appoint. I’ve never been so shocked that a Dr could document misinformation.

Positive experience: The service provided was excellent by all staff. They are very helpful when I rang to make appointment. Bit disappointing about no longer been bulk billed for appointments. Dr Ashish very good. I have found to be very good. I have found him to be caring & reactive when I have been to see him. I still go back to Dr Ashish & the clinic even since I have moved about an hours trip & no bulk billing, but I still travel to see him.

Negative experience: They took my payment BEFORE telling me there would be an hour wait & asked if that was ok (like I had any choice). When it was eventually my turn, the doctor RANG me from her room telling me to come down there. Found my way to her room, she was very blunt & brief in her comments & instructions, told me to go to the nurses station as if I should know where that is & when asked, gave me blunt & brief instructions on where to go. It's a good facility if you're in a bind coz it's open 7 days but the service is cold & harsh.

Fantastic experience: We were able to get an appointment on the day for my son and didn't wait long to be seen once we arrived. Kind and patient reception staff and thorough GP. Blood pathology was on site and performed following appointment. Great facility and excellent care

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Forest Hill Medical & Dental Centre for about 15 years now , they have doctors , physio , xray & ultrasound that are excellent , i haven't used their dental services , reception staff are professional & knowledgeable , basic comfortable seats in the large waiting area , pharmacy inside , near the reception desk , plenty of free parking , a dedicated room with multiple beds for minor emergency treatment if need , it is a very good medical centre with excellent staff .

Negative experience: Declined the booking after reaching the place and didn’t provide an alternative for my kid. Received the declined email after reaching there 10 mins after the booking time. Will not set foot in this place again.

Positive experience: 2 minute visit with full fee charged. A bit annoying. But Dr is nice.
Negative experience: The two stars are one, for the great nursing and allied staff, and two for the Urgent Care staff. Brilliant. It's a shame the entire enterprise is let down by reception staff who seem to be auditioning for prison officer jobs; office management which varies from absent to arrogant, to pointless, and a general sense that any human seeking medical attention is little more than an inconvenience. The incompetence is breathtaking. Try elsewhere if you have the option.
Positive experience: I had a really positive experience with Dr. Cecilia, her level of caring, attentiveness, and thoroughness is outstanding. The experience with reception staff can be hit and miss depending on who you encounter, but it’s a small price to pay for the excellent level of care received by the doctor.

Negative experience: I visited at 8th June 2025, I had a very disappointing experience at Forest Hill Medical & Dental Centre due to the behavior of the young Asian male receptionist. From the moment I arrived, there was no greeting, no eye contact, and no acknowledgement — just a cold, unwelcoming attitude. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, as if my presence was an inconvenience. During the check-in process, he barely spoke and acted as if he was doing me a favor. Immediately after checking me in, I noticed him chatting and laughing happily with his colleague, which made the contrast in attitude even more apparent and frustrating. The way he interacted with patients felt dismissive and unprofessional — as if we owed him something. I believe reception is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire experience. Unfortunately, this kind of service makes me not want to return to this clinic again. A bit of courtesy and professionalism would go a long way in making patients feel respected and cared for.

Negative experience: This was my first visit to the clinic and both receptionists I spoke with at 8:45am made me feel like I was a nuisance. Not friendly, didn't smile and very abrupt speaking to me as if I was an idiot.
Negative experience: My husband had a blood test done on 29 May, and the doctor advised that the results might be available the following day. On 30 May, he drove to the clinic—despite being very unwell—hoping to get some clarity. What followed was completely unacceptable. When he spoke to the receptionist, she told him that they were unable to check whether the results were available and that he would need to book an appointment with the doctor to find out. This raises a serious issue: how can anyone be expected to book and pay for a medical consultation without knowing if there are any results to discuss in the first place? When this valid question was asked, the receptionist simply shrugged and raised her arms in a dismissive gesture, showing zero empathy or concern. This attitude—especially towards someone who is visibly ill—is not only unprofessional but downright disgraceful. The fact that reception staff are not allowed to check or confirm whether test results are available is an outrageous policy that puts unnecessary stress on patients and delays critical care. But what made this experience even worse was the rude, careless, and completely indifferent attitude of the receptionist. Her body language and facial expressions made it clear that she could not have cared less about the situation or my husband's wellbeing. This clinic needs to seriously re-evaluate its procedures and customer service standards. Patients deserve better—especially when they are sick, vulnerable, and just trying to get the help they need.

Negative experience: Total mess around. Transferred because my doctor was moving there from another clinic. Took me 5-6 phones calls to get my medical records transferred and kept getting told I would receive a call back about this. Then I had my appointment this morning and was told I would get my Medicare rebate automatically and immediately. Chased it up as it hadn’t come through only to be told it can take 24-48 hours (it was immediate at my last clinic). Only going here because I have a good relationship with my existing doctor……hopefully they will move again soon so I don’t have to visit this place again.

Negative experience: Will try to cut this story short. I called to book an appointment and was advised that if I wanted to see a doctor on the day, I had to be there at a certain time and no later. So I rushed to get there with one minute to spare. This was fine. I have no preference with which doctor I see...so they had booked me in with a Dr Desai. I sat down in the waiting area. 50 minutes later, I still was not seen.. I approached the lady at the desk who took my initial booking over the phone and payment when I arrived. I asked if all was still ok as I had been waiting for a while. She was very helpful and was most likely wondering the same, She called Dr Desai...I heard her whisper , are you still here as there is a patient still waiting to be seen or words to that effect. I'm guessing he said yes and that he will see me shortly as she apologized and said it shouldn't be long now...Another 15 minutes or so went by. Now I don't know Dr Desai by face but I could see a doctor leaving for the day and I was 90% sure it was him..This was confirmed by the ladies confusion as she commented to the person next to her that he was supposed to see a patient and he has left. She then ran out of the clinic to confirm...and he had.. Another doctor was good enough to see me 15-20 min later... So if this is your doctor, then good luck to you.. If you are happy to see any doctor and you happen to be assigned to Dr Desai , then chances are that you won't...except when you see him leaving for the day. I thought for a minute it was the 1st of April but that day had long passed. This was beyond a joke...

Fantastic experience: The doctor saw me on time and able to help me with my problems. Good having the chemist right there, so was able to get vaccination for PROLIA straight away and then went to see the nurse at the clinic, and within 10 minutes or so, I had the vaccination. All very efficient.

Fantastic experience: I stopped coming to this doctor awhile ago as the wait times were long, reception staff unfriendly and doctors were complacent and seemingly didn’t care. However today I had an exceptional experience. The young receptionist was very kind and friendly. She booked me in for an appt with the first available doctor - only a 20 minute wait time. I was seen by Dr Peggy who was very thorough, professional and helped me with what I needed. Pharmacy staff were also very informative and friendly. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Delightfully surprised with my experience here today, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I attend this clinic because my General Physician moved from Rowville to Forest Hill. My GP Dr. Ashish Mukundan is an excellent doctor who is very polite, kind and helpful. He is more like a family member. However, the reception staff at the Clinic are very polite too but they need to refrain from personal conversations while customers are waiting to be served. Suggestion : A short Customer Service Course will do good for the business and patients.

Positive experience: The first receptionist I spoke to was incredibly rude –despite the fact that the Centre's homepage explicitly states that you don’t need an appointment, she got angry that I didn’t have an appointment (I was there for something quite serious and her attitude was unwarranted). Luckily, another receptionist picked up on her vibe and took over (felt like the first person had a history of bad customer service) – she’s the reason for so many stars. The actual meet with the doctor was alright.

Negative experience: The Doctor Rajeev is fine/helpful and just the lady with a shorthair style in the X-Ray at 2:10PM is a bit rude despite lacking good manners despite not saying goodbye and thank you to confirm I’m allowed to leave!!! I was trying to be respectful and patience as much as I can it is just her keeping being rude and please stop and fix your attitude to become friendly, generous and welcoming!! Please improve your attitude, kindness and respect towards me and the others!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this centre for more than 16 years and I can say it’s services has been increased alot better. I know Dr Singh ever since I started going there and he is the best GP I had so nice and always thinking the best treatment option to the patient unfortunately he is not a regular now so it’s hard to catch him for a consult. There’s alot more GPs the So many specialists Ihave seen the centre growing over the last 16 years of my life and it’s remarkable. Also the pharmacy in there is also became my goto for everything as the GP directly send the scripts to them so no need to worry about it. But over the time they’re service has become money minded.I only go for the medicines not for any other products.

Negative experience: Called the urgent care number and receptionist booked us under GP clinic and asked for gap fee. This clinic always push patients to book their GP no matter it’s urgent or not, to earn money.

Fantastic experience: On a Friday I found myself requiring semi-urgent medical attention and because my Dermatologist would not be available till the Monday I made an appointment with this Clinic for Saturday, and was seen with only a short waiting time by a Doctor who I had not met previously. The Doctor was friendly, listened and responded in a very acceptable manner. He then sent me to the in-house nurse, who with no waiting time, proceeded to re-dress my wound. The nurse, Henry, again was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable and answered my questions. I left the Clinic feeling very satisfied with the service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent assistance at reception and an understanding Dr, who was supportive and knowledgeable about my shift to a carnivore diet. I finished my skin appointment early and needed a medical appointment for a blood test. I had one scheduled for an hour later but reception found me another appointment straight away.

Positive experience: Clinic is convenient, doctors and allied health are brilliant, and it is an amazing one stop medical centre as it covers almost all areas of western medical care as you expected. However, with incompetent and big attitude receptionist to zero customers service which really sad. I believe it is fine to have new recruits but they needed to be well trained and know the needs of clients as they are the face of the medical centre. There has a lady receptionist there is really really polite and helpful and she’s been there for a very long time. I hope the new staff will learn from her and respect their jobs and all stakeholders.

Positive experience: Doctors are good, the receptionist with glasses not so much. No smile, no empathy probably hates her job. She did not know the doctor on duty I had an appointment with even said I was at the wrong place. Showed her the confirmation message, no apology whatsover. She probably needs a looooong holiday

Negative experience: I had a skin procedure with Dr Kunz and ended up with 8 stitches. They try to charge me for the removal of the stitches. Greedy Money Hungry, terrible service. No duty of care to patients. Only after profits!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!

Negative experience: The GPs are generally great at this place but this new receptionist I don’t know the name haven’t seen before was giving me side eyes when I was talking to the other receptionist. You might be behind a small counter but customers can see everything. not a good look for the center I hope no one has to deal with her
Negative experience: Just had the worst visit to a GP in my life. Not the clinic’s fault the front desk staff was very polite but do not book an appointment with Dr Amy (Qiu-Man) Zhao. Appointment booked at 12:00pm and arrived there few mins early. Waited about an hour to have our appointment. The doctor couldn’t be bothered walking 5 meters to call us in from the waiting room and no mentions of an apology for being so late and behind schedule. Instead she calls our mobile telling us to come in to room 1. During our session she was busy on the phone with what seems to be another patient while I sit there with my wife and distressed toddler. When she finished calling on the phone trying to resolve something regarding another patient she could not deal with a distressed toddler. She has no empathy or ways to deal with the toddlers and made the situation worse. In the end even I held my screaming son, she still could not complete a simple ear inspection. Then she has the audacity to say to me and my wife “your son screams too much”. Slow, disorganised , unapologetic, lack of empathy, incompetent and inconsiderate is what best describes Dr Amy (Qiu-Man) Zhao. No matter how desperate you are with booking times stay away from this one. The clinic did void the charge in the end for the terrible experience.
Fantastic experience: I had a tele visit from Dr Rajib . He was so helpful and efficient. My script is sent directly to my phone and he gave me results of recent test and good advice. I’m very pleased with my appointment. It’s a great service if you’re unable to visit in person.☺️

Fantastic experience: I have been using that clinic since it opened, they are professional, kind, understanding and accomodating. All the GP’s are professionals in every way and my GP I hope he never leaves. They have most needs MRI etc and I use their dental, physio and podiatrist. Great place for a family health needs.

Negative experience: Dr Judy Chan is the worst GP I have ever had by far. Here are just a few reasons: 1 - I requested a blood test with a full list of things to test. She was unwilling to test for vitamin D and a few other things I wanted included in the test. 2 - I had a lump near my naval and told her about it. She just asked how long I've had it and if it bothers me. I requested her to touch the lump as well to feel it just in case it could be something that I need to get examined further. She reluctantly put her gloves on and felt it. Then she raise her voice and stood up and said "see when I say it's nothing, it means it's nothing" 3 - lastly the whole experience seemed rushed and she seemed like she is in a hurry to see the next person. Also seems bizarre for a doctor to wear sunglasses in the office where she is consulting patients. I recommend you never see this doctor !! STAY AWAY

Negative experience: Dr was great and would be happy to visit again however I have been incorrectly debited twice and the refund process has been horrendous. Sent about 8-10 emails all which were unanswered and called approximately 3 times. Been waiting 2 weeks now and no closer to having my money refunded. Very poor customer service. Edit: money was returned 1 month after my appointment and after multiple emials and calls. Was short changed 78 cents for some reason and nobody has responded to my last 2 emails. Not sure why you wouldn’t refund the exact amount shown duplicated on my bank statement. Extremely dodgy practice!!!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful. Had a back lesion that had become infected, it was a Saturday afternoon, got an appointment and was seen right away by a doctor and then wounds dressed by a nurse. Quick and efficient. Couldn’t ask for better.

Negative experience: Was told to initially wait 45 minutes for a doctor went again to check told again to wait another 45 minutes. Partner was injured in shoulder with excruciating pain, went to the urgent care. Then 4pm finally got xray. Went to reception waited another 1.5 hours to find doctor couldn’t. No communication from staff. Not “urgent” at all as described. Was there 1.30pm. There till 6pm. Whole afternoon wasted. They weren’t able to look at xray. Don’t go here. 2 hour wait time for “urgent” care

Negative experience: The service is worst here. I have been going here for my daughter for last few months ( trusted the so called experts) with issue but always sent back saying it is virus. Somewhere I knew it’s not just viral and had to do some research, ask around and then went back to them on what they have to do. Ask referral for some test and guess what we found the cause of illness.

Fantastic experience: My kid had ear infection for several days and didn't get well despite some home treatments. Because my usual gp is not available on weekends I took her to the center and was able to see a doctor in about 10-15 minutes. Clean and inviting waiting space with nice staff. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Husband had a GP phone consult in middle of November 2024. Paid the account in full and they submitted it to Medicare for them to receive refund. Received the Medicare cheque made out to doctor, I presented the cheque to them and they submitted a refund for us to be refunded. It’s now January 2025 and still no refund. Staff need to be trained correctly as not everyone can afford to wait this long for Medicare rebate cause of an error they made.

Fantastic experience: The Telehealth phone call made it very easy. No need to attend the clinic. Dr Peiris was very helpful and arranged a new prescription and referral over the phone. I did not have to leave home. Great medical service. Could not ask for more.

Fantastic experience: Quick to get an appointment. A doctor that really listened and was fantastic in his treatment. Although end of year brake for a lot of staff,I was helped and seen for X-rays quick smart. Thank you for all involved with my care and appointment.

Positive experience: I took four patients there, it was handy, friendly, but just make sure to check your details is correct , at once , only the first name and last name were correct , others were all wrong : address , contact number, DOB…
Fantastic experience: Dr Nameera was fantastic. Gentle and kind while examining the broken bones in my foot. I also had to see Dr Esther Dang and Aiwen the nurse in PPCC. Fantastic experience: I was seen promptly. The doctor listened carefully and was able to give me the appropriate care. This doctor went beyond her duty and asked about a symptom that she observed and was not related to the problem I had presented with. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience.

Negative experience: The pathology lady was extremely unprofessional and quite painful when taking my blood test. Later that day I ended up with an extremely large bruise about 10cm in diameter. I would never recommend the pathology here and after sharing my experience with friends and family it seems she already has a bad reputation. I would give -5 stars if I could

Negative experience: Rude lady receptionist - Today (11.30am), I went to the reception to ask a question and waited in front of the lady receptionist (brown skin) and she even looked at my face and ignored me completely. If she is busy and can't attend she can politely communicate that right ? Then the other receptionist (boy) asked how he could help me as he saw she was ignoring me. Being a brown person my self I couldn't believe the bad attitude this young girl receptionist had. The boy receptionist was super nice and answered all my questions and was very helpful

Positive experience: I sat in waiting room for 45mins waiting for my booked GP appt and whilst this ok your reception staff definitely need some customer service training. I did not see one receptionist greet anyone with a smile or a “good morning” only “will be with you in a minute” while they continued to work on computers. Not friendly at all it only takes a minute for smile!
Fantastic experience: Can almost always get an appointment, small and occasionally waved out of pocket fee. Lovely GPs that aren't moved on every 5minutes allowing for continuity of care. Always recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Gazdik is a very experienced and caring practitioner who has been a part of our family’s health care for too many years to remember and offers good, old fashioned care and advice. Will never leave this medical centre whilst Dr Gazdik is there.

Negative experience: Today I made an appointment with GP for 12pm, but I waited for 40 minutes before I saw the doctor. During this time, I asked the reception twice about the reason for the waiting time, but the answer I got was that there was another patient in front of me. However, when I made the appointment, I was told that I'm the first patient, so I felt very hopeful.
Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been attending Forest Hill Medical and Dental Clinic for the past 15 years. The service proded is first class with a very friendly team of Doctors and Staff - a very highly recommended practice

Fantastic experience: A lady called Kellie is not always on the front desk, but when she is she always, has such a happy friendly smile. She has fixed up my billing issue of mine with no drama and was more than happy to do it for me. The other staff are also very friendly but Kellie stands out with her beautiful smile and great energy. I am very happy with this clinic.

Negative experience: Yesterday, Sunday 20th October I hurt my hand badly and I had to wait for 3 hours for an x ray. I really feel sorry for the lady that was on shift that day. There were at least 20 people in the waiting room, and she was alone, doing admin stuff and the x rays, this is unacceptable for a busy practice like this one. I arrived at 12:30pm and left at 3:45pm. This lady didn’t even have a break, I really commend her patience and care under this ridiculous conditions, please have more consideration with your staff and patients and pay one more person.

Positive experience: The staff here were great and I was seen quickly. The only issue was going for an xray. There should be a number system which would help the overworked and solo radiographer and make it easier for all those waiting. Much better than going to ED though!

Fantastic experience: My first appointment with the GP. Seen by Dr S. Biswas. It was good service. Bulk billed payment $25. I will visit this clinic from now onwards. The Receptionist was very helpful. Cheerful. Pleasant visit.
