Negative experience: My son (5 year old) was in pain because of something with his ear, he’s crying on the way, and we called Centre but the receptionist was rude and rejected us despite of our situation, Shame on you! Again just having a bad experience with the person who answered the phone, so bad, sounds Chinese

Fantastic experience: We had our Covid-19 Vaccination Booster. Everything was explained and all our questions were answered by our nurse. We are very happy with the whole process. We were walk ins for a booster Vaccine. We were promptly accommodated. Good experience Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Medcentral for years now, they have always been polite and friendly. Most of the doctors I have seen were caring, not just rushing me in and out. There is a gap fee for people over 15 or not having a healthcare card or on a pension, but I very happy that they do the medicare lodgement and pay the rebate from Medicare at the time of payment if you pay by card. Will continue to use them as long as I can get bookings when I need them, they can be busy a lot of the time if you want same day appointments.

Negative experience: The staff and doctors are great, however this year I have had trouble with appointments being cancelled. Specifically my daughters appointments with her psychologist. Appointments that I have to book weeks in advance which means by the time her appointments are cancelled it's at least another three weeks before I can book her next appointment. And even then they also have been cancelled. If it was for me I wouldn't care as much but these appointments are for my 15 year old daughter.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been attending MedCentral Knox for a few years now and have always found the reception staff to be helpful and courteous. The nurses are also kind and understanding. Dr Johnson Hsu who we see is a good doctor with whom we both feel comfortable and happy. We are both pleased that we chose to attend this Medical Centre when we moved to Ferntree Gully some years ago.

Fantastic experience: Finally Drs that care and take the time to listen to their patients. Dr Prathivadi is the most attentive, kind and supportive Dr I’ve ever seen. She always takes time to listen to my concerns and has talked over my options throughly and provided me all the materials for me to take home and research before I make my choice. She’s never told me “this is what you have to take or do “ She is a great asset to the practice.

Fantastic experience: This medical clinic has to be one of the most efficient in Melbourne. Went there today at 1.45pm to make a Flu shot enquiry. A very friendly professional receptionist with no fuss made an appointment at 2.20pm for a nurse to attend to me. Arrived at the appointed time as was seen 5 minutes later and again friendly professional service provided answering all questions..

Positive experience: It was my first time seeing Dr. Johnson Hsu. He was very thorough in his medical review and observant of my condition.

Physiotherapist Danny is highly skilled and attentive, providing great care and support with rehab of injuries. The doctors are knowledgeable, and the reception staff is efficient and welcoming. Negative experience: I’ve painted this stuff. The surgery once everything was fine I’ve tried ringing them up half a dozen times in the last couple days. Spent half an hour to an hour on the phone and today I got through after waiting 45 minutes and I thought I would be eating lunch, which I was and I was saying yeah hang on hang on I had a hot pie in my mouth and they hanged up on me I will never go back there again. They can stick their Doctors up

Fantastic experience: My doctor ( Dr Arpit)is the best. although he is very busy but he is always thorough and provides best treatment to me. The staffs here are very helpful and friendly. There are also dietitian, podiatrist, physiotherapist here that I see regularly. They are all very nice and very professional. This practice is also bulkbill. You can't find a better medical practice than here, really, honestly.

Fantastic experience: The front desk team are extremely professional I called to let them know that I could have been 5/10 minutes late,they were understanding of my predicament and they put me instantly at ease without any pressure put on me. I end up 5 minutes lately. The visit was thorough and painless.

Negative experience: Was booked in to a doctor that couldn’t perform the minor procedure we requested and then was charged full price for 5 minutes to be told that I needed to return to see the correct doctor.

Negative experience: Poorly run medical centre, long waits and tried to charge us for something we didn't have done. Booked in to see the doctor first but they put us in with the nurse without communicating to us. The nurse had called us in and another patient went in mistakenly but the nurse just allowed it to happen. They also had no idea which doctor we had requested to see.

Fantastic experience: Double appointment with elderly mother. Running slightly late, but no issues. Didn't catch nurse's name but very efficient and informative. Very supportive of my mother.

Negative experience: Doctors are paid by pharmaceutical companies, they keep pushing patients to use 100s of different medicines and sprays and won't refer them to a specialist to begin with, unnecessary visits over visits and no empathy, they love to see us suffer , just not about money , both the Asian doctors pushed me to use on the counter medication instead of referring me to a specialist when I was having severe allergy Awful experience

Negative experience: Disgraceful. They use overseas bank service, as I tried to pay my own appointment fee once using my creditcard, it was rejected, I was confused as the card is valid and I use it all the time. Turns out that I blocked international transaction service on my card, that s why it did not go through. So this means that this place avoids paying tax. Took my kid to get a Whooping cough test , as his school had one case, and he had fever, the following day got a message, says: the covid test result is negative' so the Dr did a wrong test, who still do a covid test at the GP? More to this, rang them and asked for the test request document, they refuse to show me, and they told me "you have to book another appointment tomorrow to see the test result.' So I have to book another appointment just to know the test result for Whooping Cough. Double dipping into the Medicare.

Fantastic experience: I went to this medical centre because they were the only ones that wanted to help me. I just had foot surgery done on wed and I had a shower sat and the water leaked thru the bandage. I rang several others and they weren’t willing to help me. I say a big Thankyou to Knox medicine for their prompt service.

Fantastic experience: I see Dr Arpit Jaipal and in all honesty he is the nicest and most thorough and caring Dr I've ever visited. I like some receptionists at a clinic across the road from Knox City, Caroline on reception was very nice and helpful when I called to make and appointment for my wife and I.

From my very first step into the clinic, I am always welcomed by kind receptionists. The fabulous impression last all the way through doctor’s consultation and the last minute I leave the clinic. Fantastic experience: Dr Pallavi is one of the most caring and down to earth doctors I’ve ever met. So kind and thoughtful and I would recommend her to any young woman needed some frank, non judgmental advice. Also, she’s hella funny and sassy.

Negative experience: I normally have very little issues with the clinic, after having previously worked in a clinic as myself as a nurse I understand how hectic it can get. But at no point does it excise when talking to a patient on the phone, talking over them or interrupting them as they are still explaining something. Especially when your assumption of what they were going to say is incorrect. The receptionist I spoke to today needs to take a breath and not rush the conversation and talk over people as she did. I am concerned that if it had of been someone more vulnerable that they would not have been able to get a word in and wouldn’t get what they need. Originally i was going to book in a flu shot, but due to the lack of respect shown I may now boycott my normal GP for it because of the level of disrespect shown. Otherwise my normal feedback is quite high of the clinic and the Dr I usually see.

Fantastic experience: I recently relocated from NSW to Melbourne. Our first consultation with a GP at this medical centre was very positive. I saw Lisa Qu who was very thorough in taking my history and prescribed according to my medical needs. The practice reception and the nurse who gave my wife her injection were very professional.

Positive experience: I'd award 5 stars if appointments were on time but normally they seem to be running 20-30 minutes behind. I use this clinic for vax shots and can usually book the same day via the Hotdoc site. Nurse practitioners at the clinic are always excellent. Booked today for a Flu shot but asked and given a Covid booster as well. Too easy.

Positive experience: Lovely doctors never have a issue but the reception downstairs I had a pit of a issue with as I wasn't hearing the reception lady properly as I am half deaf, she spoke very low. her the mask didn't help and stop me reading her lips and understanding her, didn't remove and end up miscommunication, they charge me when I shouldn't haven having a pension card. Now thank u I can barely afford dinner for your mistake. I understand people makes mistakes but when I constantly told her I can't hear her and I'd wasnt a honest one, i told her i mot understand what happen coz i cant hear her. she should of got a co-worker I could understand with my disbilty to avoid this mishaps

Negative experience: I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Med Central Knox. My visits, initially for routine tests, quickly turned into a series of frustrations. It became apparent that what could have been accomplished in a single appointment was unnecessarily stretched over multiple visits, each time incurring new charges. The inefficiency peaked during my last interaction, which was supposed to be a simple phone consultation. Despite the arrangement for a call from Dr.], it never came. I found myself chasing the practice for a response, only to receive a call 40 minutes late. This brief two-minute conversation was not only unsatisfactory in content but also astonishingly ended with a $65 charge. This experience has left me feeling exploited, a sentiment that seems to reflect a broader pattern of prioritizing profit over patient care at this facility. It’s disheartening to witness such a disregard for both patient time and financial resources.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Lisa Qu today for the first time today and was very impressed, she was very pleasant and went out of her way to help There was a supply problem with the medication prescribed which led to going back and forth between the pharmacy and doctors (which are luckily next to each other) and the pharmacists and receptionist at the clinic as well as Dr Lisa Qu, went out of their way to resolve the problem Couldn't recommend this clinic and Dr Lisa Qu enough Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and efficient. I had an urgent need for a referral and my usual medical centre was not able to help. I went to MedCentral and they went out of their to help made an appointment within an hour and after consultation with the doctor was able to get my referral. Greatly appreciated.

Negative experience: Usually exceptional, however today my GP was off sick, so I was called to let me know another doctor would be available at the same time if I desired. I confirmed, but when I arrived at the clinic, I was told my appointment had been scheduled for two hours prior. While I was luckily able to get an appointment with a doctor who happened to have an availability at that time, the doctor was not comfortable assisting me with what I had gone in for, ultimately having me driven two hours return trip for something I would have otherwise done via telehealth.

Fantastic experience: New patient - process was quick & easy, receptionist & doctor was friendly, waited no more than 5 mins. Very convenient too as it was in a shopping centre… 5 stars! Had my 2nd visit there today & a special mention to Helen - thank you for caring about my daughter’s condition & calling back when there was a cancellation. Very much appreciated!
