Negative experience: Absolutely shocked by what I just experienced. I needed to see a doctor asap and my usual clinic wasn't free so I called up this clinic first thing in the morning and told the receptionist I had cold and flu symptoms but needed a doctor since I was having a lot of difficulty breathing. I'd tested negative for COVID so she books me in for midday to see a doctor. Finally come in only to be rudely turned away at the front desk as "the doctor I'm booked for doesn't see people with infectious symptoms" Now no doctors are available and Id have to wait until tomorrow. How on earth can you fumble so badly with people's health?

Negative experience: I've seen Dr Gupta twice for help with my baby's skin condition and both times were very bad experience. She couldn't be bothered checking my daughter at all and rather spent more time typing notes then rushed us out after like 2 minutes! Instead of giving advice and explaining my babys conditiond, she printed out info and told me to "go home and read" , so what's the point of me seeing and paying for her service?

Positive experience: Waiting room reasonably full but only a short wait to see the Doctor. I have been coming to this Practice since it opened. It is a 20-25 minute drive from home but, to me, worth the effort.

Negative experience: A disappointing experience with Dr Feroza Qazi when our regular GP wasn’t available. Dr Qazi was extremely rude, dismissive and intimidating to my teenage daughter. My daughter was told off, was spoken down to because she was told she could not discuss more than one symptom (presenting with 3 symptoms that she thought were related to one condition as such) because otherwise a longer (and more expensive consult) would be needed. Dr Qazi was condescending and used her position of power to disregard my daughter’s symptoms and experience. I would recommend selecting another doctor if visiting this practice.

Negative experience: It’s horrible - doctor doesn't even talk to you - 1st thing she tells me is that they can’t discuss two issues in one appointment- it was headache and stomachache and they are interrelated - all she did was yes take the medication u have got from pharmacy and that’s all - no other advice or anything no compassion- very disappointing My appointment was at 12:20 - I waited more than I was with the doc - she only took 4mins and I was out that’s all - I was so stressed out because I felt helpless - I mean I paid the amount to get some sort of feedback or result but nah they don’t care. It was horrible, never going back again

Negative experience: I had allergy and I stated doc that I did not have allergy history in previous. The doctor asked me what happened that you got itching or allergy.I said nothing, itching happened to me suddenly. Then guess what the doctor said 'How can she know what happened to you' - this thing seemed rude to me.In my opinion we went to the doctor because we did not know what happened and for advice.If doc said ' they don't know and find the answer within yourself ' then why we would visit doctor.
Negative experience: I paid $79 for a 30 second appointment in which she just told me to rest. Ground breaking information thank you Dr Gupta. Asked for a work injury claim and she said “I don’t do that” however when I booked my appointment with her, that was literally an option which I clicked on. Paying for a service that they don’t provide.
Negative experience: Didn’t like one of the receptionists I visited today. The way she speaks is very rude. She should learn how to be polite when dealing with consumers.
Positive experience: Visiting from out of town and sick grandchild with sore throat. Able to be seen that day by Dr which was great. The front desk seemed very efficient.

Negative experience: Was referred to general pathology at around 4pm. There was one pathologist, and 7 people waiting. She comes out not long after and says she can’t take any new people other than us as she finishes at 5pm. After this 2 people left to reduce waiting time. She took 20-30 minutes per person which I’ve never seen before. She then comes out at 4:40 to take another person, with around 4 of us still waiting and no new people. Says nothing. And then finally comes out at 5 and tells us she can’t take anyone else because she has to go home. Are you joking ??? This is ridiculous. 1 family had a baby in critical condition which she was aware of. The rest of us had to wait 1 hour, I am severely sick, and nothing was said in advance. This isn’t a pub with a last drinks call. This is a medical centre with people that are in need of attention. She would’ve had a general idea of how long everyone would’ve taken and could’ve told us 20 minutes before 5 at least that all of us wouldn’t be able to be done. We all just wasted more than 1 hour waiting for no reason. Such a joke and just so unacceptable.

Negative experience: Just seen DR Shadrack, he wasn't very friendly at all & to cap it off, I was prescribed a medication that can not treat my infection & if I was to use it it has the potential to cause me further harm. I have wasted $40 & I am no better off than I was before I went there. The last appointment I made they cancelled less than an hour before I was meant to go leaving me no time to make a much needed new one at the time. This clinic would have to be the worst one in Adelaide hands down I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Forced to give one star but I give them none, absolute incompetent & unprofessional.

Negative experience: The GP was unhelpful, had a list to consult with and was shown out the door just after 2 minutes. Sure I got the referral I requested but that's only 1 thing I had on my list. Worse, I paid $69.85 for 2 minute consultation, categorised as surgery consultation, level B.
Fantastic experience: Dr Manoj George is the best GP we ever had. Dr Manoj is extremely knowledgeable and caring for his patients. He is very friendly and approachable. The entire Hampstead Clinic Team have always been helpful and supportive..

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Nirupama Joshi. Despite having a scheduled appointment, we were kept waiting for over 30 minutes past our designated time. When we were finally called in, we were rushed through the consultation. Dr. Joshi made it clear that we had only 10 minutes and stated that if we had additional questions, we would need to book another appointment, incurring an additional fee of $35. This approach felt unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that this was our first visit. Based on this experience, we do not intend to return.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful health clinic! Dr Sugirtha Seela Raj is my doctor there, and she is the kindest, most wonderful doctor. I recommend her to everybody.

Negative experience: Waited for Dr Feroza Qazi for 45 minutes but the appointment finished just within 5 mins. The doctor was in hurry and impatient and rude, interrupted and stopped while I was still talking. She tried to stop me asking questions. Very unprofessional. I will never book with this doctor again.
Negative experience: Horrible experience been twice to see Dr Quazi and first time I explain my symptoms and she reply what do you want me to do ?? I wouldn’t be there if I known and being English my second language i could feel her racism and lack of sympathy never coming back and won’t recommend this place !!

Fantastic experience: Dr Asad is thorough and detailed, and really easy to talk to. I feel supported and listened to at each of my appointments. Even the midwife from the Women’s and Children’s Hospital gave great feedback on how well my pregnancy tests were managed—highly recommend!
Negative experience: Reception staff were nice and welcoming despite it being busy. I saw Dr R Verma. I went to her with 2 concerns, after expressing my first concern she asked me “what do you want me to do” if I knew what to do I would not have paid money to come and see you. I was there to get advice/support and guidance. When I expressed my second concern she prescribed a cream which does not fix the root cause of the problem but helps with pain. When I asked her to examine me and provide a referral to see a specialist she said “ we can do that another time”. I went and seen another doctor who examined me and provided a referral + advised it needs urgent care before it escalates.
Fantastic experience: We saw Dr Roopali Verma 14 April 2025 on Monday morning. My partner had severe stomach pains. Dr Verma told us to get an ultra sound urgently. We saw Benson Ultrasound few hours later, they said we need to go to RAH emergency asap. All the doctors suspected appendicitis. We waited for 8 hours at RAH and were admitted in early morning hours. RAH surgeons did an emergency operation on my partner the next day. They took out a part of the bowel. They thought it maybe cancer. After 1 week wait, results came back negative for cancer. She remained in RAH for 11 days...She eventually got diagnosed with diverticulitis. I do believe Dr Verma saved my partner's life. Not all doctors would have given us an emergency Ultrasound. If the damaged bowel remained inside, I do believe there is higher risk of it turning cancerous. Thank you again Dr Roopali Verma! We saw the right doctor on the right day! It was meant to be!

Fantastic experience: Was able to complete my appointment over the telephone, which I find extremely convenient. At the time of booking I was invited to make this a face-to-face consult, but not necessary in this instance. Dr Estevez right on time and, as always, extremely pleasant and thorough in his interactions with me. Attended Centre 9 March 2023; staff attentive and professional. Dr Estevez his typical outstanding self. Great experience, thank-you. Dr Estevez consult 15 January 2025. This man's care and attention to detail are second to none, always patient-focused. Continue to be extremely impressed with the medical care from Dr Estevez, a wonderful and caring man who is obviously dedicated to his profession. The desk staff and flu vax team very pleasant to deal with and helpful in many ways. Well done HHFPMC.

Fantastic experience: Attended my appointment with Dr Sheng-Wen Cheng last Thursday. He was friendly and so efficient. He was able to assist with all my issues and was very friendly! He is a great Doctor, even one of my best GP visits I have had!
Negative experience: I will never go there again! First time going there and never again.. My first visit to the clinic was not a good experience. He is not a good doctor. He was not interested in listening and was trying to shorten the conversation so that he can move on to the next conversation. It seems that he is only working to make money and not serving the patient. He is very unprofessional. I was not satisfied with Dr. Abaidullah Siddiqui. He is not at all interested in what is wrong and will only write antibiotic scripts. It is very expensive to see a GP They charged $91.71 and only saw the GP for 5 minutes and charged surgery level 2 fees I will never see him again

Negative experience: It’s alright but their systems went down so I couldn’t actually get anything I was there for and they ask to make another appointment so I basically paid to see the doc who couldn’t do anything to begin with which I paid for and now I have to go pay again in the hopes the system doesn’t crash
Hi Matto, the outage experienced yesterday affected all medical centres using the similar medical software to the one used by Hampstead Health. Such system failures are rare. The practice staff and doctors made every effort to keep all patients informed. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to all during the outage. I would like to thank the doctors for continuing to work through the outage and providing clinical support to their patients.
Fantastic experience: Have been going to Hampstead Health Family Practice for maybe 8 years now after bad experience at previous medical centre.. I can not fault them, primarily see Dr N Joshi, but other doctors have been really good too, and the reception staff and practice nurses. An excellent practice

Negative experience: I understand every doctor charged gape fee but today I visited at Hampstead hospital I gasket for regular blood check up they suggest me if you come back for discuss for result even you have to pay gape fee so it’s really frustrating so I don’t recommend too use Hempstead hospital . Last time I visited Westwood medical centre they not charge for result check so I recommend Westwood medical centre.

Negative experience: Rang and booked my toddler in for her routine injections. I arrive and waited 30 minutes for my appointment. I got told there was no booking for the nurse yet I rang to confirm prior. The doctor unprofessionally rang the treatment nurse and had her on speaker phone where she pretty much called me a liar and they don’t want to use the vaccine stock that they have on people who don’t do the right thing. But I could come back later if I wish. Working full time with multiple kids, it’s hard enough to organise a time to come out and take one for injections. Shame on your practice. We won’t be back

Hi Smriti, I am sorry that the wait time was too long. The doctors endeavor to run on time. On occasions they fall behind due to patients with complex health issues or having to speak to specialists. Hopefully on your next visit it will be better.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Abdullah Siddiqi at Hampstead Health Family. He did not provide a written prescription for the medicine I needed. Instead, he just told me verbally, which made it difficult to remember the exact name. This was frustrating and unhelpful. I would not recommend seeing him and suggest asking for Dr. Pamela instead if you visit this clinic. Thanks!
Negative experience: Had an appointment with doctor abaidullah siddiqi On the 12th of march for my mental health and cronic disease. He completely judged me based on my appearance and made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable for being unwell and needing help for my mental health as a 23 year old. In his books I didn’t meet the standard of how a 23 year old should be and not only did he make fun of my health he made me feel like it was my fault for being unwell. I also presented with eczema all over my arms when I told him, he did not take the time or put the effort as a Doctor to have a look at my eczema, he simply typed a prescription without asking me if I have used any creams or how severe is the eczema. In my opinion doctors like him will always bring patients down, he should be re trained on how to care for a patient. Being such a big practice and having useless doctors like him is embarrassing for the clinic. I hope this message gets to Dr Siddiqi hoping he reflects on it and for management to take action upon this.
Negative experience: Reception staff is Utterly rude! No empathy or warn greetings. I visited Female doctor she was curious to finish everything off without acknowledging any of my concerns. Not recommendable!

Fantastic experience: Quick efficient service from staff in reception, and we have three doctors we've regularly visited over the years for our family who we highly recommend - Dr Pam & Dr David Duffield, and Dr Sugi Seela Raj. Although we aren't able to make out of hours appointments any more, we are usually able to book a suitable time with a bit of notice.
Positive experience: My wife Kerri-Ann and I are so happy with your clinic. We see Dr. Kwan who is the loveliest person and a very thorough & caring doctor. We appreciate the assistance given when Kerri-Ann needs to communicate as she has a hearing impairment. Plus you listen and act on any grievances a person has with staff member. Negative experience: Doctor always running late for scheduled appoitment so expect to wait approximately 30 minutes in person or phone consultation 1 hour before Dr call. I am not confident about care at this stage as I am not receiving adequate care by medical centre. Expect your schedule appointment to be cancelled without you being contacted and discussed, the only thing you have left is next appointment available to see Nurse is in 4 weeks because reception@northerneyespecialists gave your spot to someone else without consultation with you. However I would not agree on policies stopping people entering Health service on base non vactination COVID 19 patients, Health service is Human rights all over the world. Booking different times for this patients would be preference then banning total on entry. Smokers and drug addiction patients you would still see them, would you? I am double vaccinate by your nurse for COVID 19. Reception staff can give you wrong informations, so expect to go beck again for same reason/sickness if you Case is more specific. Reply: The vaccine provided to the public is there to protect the individual who is vaccinated from becoming further ill from COVID-19. The vaccine does not stop the spread of the virus, but limits severe complications for patients.
Hi Lily, with the opening of the SA border we are taking additional measures to ensure our patients, staff and doctors are protected. We are asking non vaccinated patients to have telehealth consults where possible and if clinically required a face to face visit will be organised.

Negative experience: Do not see Dr Qazi. Twice I’ve seen her, the minimum waiting time with her is 50 minutes. I explained to her my concerns and she didn’t care. Just palmed me off to a private clinic.
Fantastic experience: It's such a great medical centre . I've been going there for many years. Friendly staff. Great drs and nurses. My local Dr is great very caring . I highly recommend hampstead health to anyone. Happy 10th Birthday Hampstead Health.
Fantastic experience: Good medical centre with plenty of GPs available with multi language speaking GPs and also plenty parking space with other specialists available on site.

Fantastic experience: Dr Manoj George went above and beyond even though I live interstate and needed an urgent blood test done. The ACL pathology form didn't download properly on my phone and laptop. Even young ACL staff couldn't help me but Dr George took time out to print the form for me. After the results came he advised me to follow up with my GP in Sydney.Thanks so much for your care and support.
Negative experience: DR Aziz has no knowledge on medication whatever. She gave a patient a medication that is not for that problem. This patient is a relative of mine and I appreciate it if she can stop giving her patients medications. It's not a rat lab your not trying things out on the patient just because you feel like it. You need to stop and actually look into the problem and if this person don't want to take anything stop making them take it. I'll make sure this person doesn't come to you again. You always overcharged her and did whatever you wanted like. You have no knowledge on what your doing. If I can do a better job and I'm not a GP. The fact you've done a poor job on someone else who is friends with me. Just don't be a doctor if you can't do your job
Negative experience: This is the second time I attend the clinic, I have always booked an appointment with one doctor but when I get there I have to be seen by someone else due the doctor cancelling agenda at last minute. Dr. Nirupama Joshi squeezed me and she kept interrupting me while trying to describe my symptoms and rushed me, she made me a urine test which was unnecessary, I had previously explained one has been conducted and I had no UTI related symptoms, I have been feeling pretty unwell for the last month and she thought that was normal and probably related to pre menstrual symptoms or constipation. It is very frustrating to have doctors who still believe that pain is normal when you are a woman, I told her I had experienced a level of pain that had me almost limping for a couple of days and she was also dismissive of that saying that there was nothing she could do for me when I can barely fit my clothes due to bloating.

Negative experience: I recently had a very disappointing experience at. I visited seeking urgent medical care, only to be turned away because I did not have a healthcare card. To my surprise, I was asked to pay $77 upfront before receiving any assistance.
Fantastic experience: I recently visited Hampstead Health Family Practice Medical Centre, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well cared for. The staff at the front desk were friendly, efficient, and made the check-in process seamless. Dr. George and the clinic nurse were truly exceptional. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything thoroughly, and made me feel completely at ease. Their professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail were second to none. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients’ well-being. The facility itself was spotless and well-organized, with a comfortable waiting area and state-of-the-art equipment. I left feeling reassured and confident in the care I received. Negative experience: I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN ! first time going there and never again ..my first visit to the clinic was not a great experience.she is not a good doctor your behaviour is very rude .she wasn’t interested in having a chat or listening and was trying to cut the conversation short so she can move to the next one.seems like she is only working to make money and not serving the patient. She is very unprofessional.I didn’t feel satisfied with DR.ROOPALI VERMA consultation. I WILL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN !!
