Fantastic experience: I found the perfect solution when I was at the Newport Dental Centre. The kind and caring staff and the fantastic Dr Patel was absolutely wonderful and quick to find the solution. Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at this Practice, the staff were friendly and professional, the appointment was on time and Dr Patel was incredible. He talked me through the whole procedure in a simple yet comprehensive consultation and performed in a gentle and caring manner, stopping several times to check my wellbeing. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: Absolutely disappointed. Went in to get a cavity fixed, walked out with my gum messed up instead. Was supposed to be a simple procedure, but somehow the dentist managed to damage my gum badly – it’s been sore and bleeding ever since. Not only that, but there was barely any explanation or proper aftercare advice. Felt rushed and not properly looked after. Wouldn’t recommend if you care about your mouth. There are plenty of better dentists around – this one’s a hard no from me.

Negative experience: I visited Dr Patel last Monday for an emergency appointment with intense pain and significant swelling around a lower impacted wisdom tooth and jaw. I was sent home with a script for antibiotics and told to come back a week later. The following day I was so unwell I took myself to hospital, where I underwent emergency surgery for an acute abscess, and was hospitalised for 4 days due to the severity of my infection. I called Dr Patel to advise him of the situation. He showed no concern for my welfare despite his misdiagnosis. Instead he was more concerned about my booking a return appointment!

Fantastic experience: A well deserved 5 star rating! I was away from home & ended up with a unbearable tooth pain. I called on the off chance of getting an appointment (Monday morning, totally expecting to not be able to). I was slotted in and not only assessed but fixed up. I am still so grateful. Great service, incredible staff & first class dentist. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel is so incredibly calm and thorough- explained exactly what the issue was and how he was going to fix it. I had 2 wisdom teeth out (amongst other things), and was in and out in 20 minutes with no pain at all (even 24 hours later)! Both Dr Patel and the team and incredibly lovely to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patel is an outstanding dentist. I had a lengthy extraction of a major split tooth and it went perfectly. I didn't even need any painkillers that night. Follow up was very professional. I would highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: My recent experience involved the replacement of a failed Upper Front bridge. This was my first visit since my original Dentist, Martin, retired from the practice. He was a dentist who in my opinion was one of the best I have ever encountered. Dr Patel who has now replaced him is most definitely in that same league. We expect dentists to be well-trained and able to apply that training to our benefit, then there are Dentist such as Dr Patel, who not only display a first class ability but also that special extra, sheer talent. The skill with which my Bridge was replaced was both efficient and professional to the very highest standards

Fantastic experience: Under my friend and landlord suggestion I went to Newport dental clinic for the first time few years ago, my first impression, after meeting dr Dhrupad and he’s secretary Vanessa,was that they make me feel like I knew them from long time as the ambience it’s always very warm, as matter of fact, every time I’m going there I almost forget that I’m going to the dentist, I’m 68 years old and that never happened before, in addition to all of it I like to highlight the professionalism of Dr Dhrupad and the friendly approach secretary Vanessa has with all the clients, I will definitely recommend Newport dental clinic

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency wisdom tooth removal between Christmas and new year and Dr Patel did an excellent job. I was very nervous but he calmly explained all the options which built my trust. The removal when so smoothly even though I had some bone in the way. Only two days of painkillers and all good. I would highly recommend these guys as a trustworthy and professional dentists.
