She explained everything thoroughly and knew exactly what needed to be done. The colour match of my teeth was next to perfect, and the entire visit was smooth and comfortable. I’m very happy with the final result—highly recommended!

Dr Sam Reiseger was super understanding with my anxieties and really helped me understand that my problems were manageable and not bad. Super caring and talked through every step of the procedures. Negative experience: Dr Duran was amazing but has since left. If you require gas to calm anxiety I would look elsewhere. After 3 unsuccessful attempts at dental work due to malfunction with sedation gas, I had a rushed filling and now have an abscess that requires either root canal or tooth removal. I will not be paying again at this location!

She done best job always , no pain at all even in root canal treatment without any injection. She is very gentle. Brilliant doctor. Unbelievably amazing. Even 100 stars are less for her. Fantastic experience: This was my first time getting an implant, so I asked Dr. Neil to do it. The explanation and the fee were clear, so I entered the first stage with peace of mind. I had several injections, but it didn't hurt that much, and I was nervous that it would be quite painful to put the lower part of the implant into the jaw bone. Even after the anesthesia wore off, I didn't feel any pain, and in the end, I was completely cured with no pain. I'm currently waiting for the day to put in the implant tooth, but as usual, I don't feel any pain, and my gums filled in quickly. Some dentists can't do implants and will refer you to a doctor who specializes in implants, but Dr. Neil can do both by himself and has very high skills, so I'm really glad I chose him. I definitely recommend him to anyone who will be getting an implant in the future!

I had known the dentist who treats me earlier at another practice and was so impressed I tracked him down after he took up practice with Maven. The rest of my family and a close relative all attend this practice now and are extremely happy with the services they provide. Our dentist is a great communicator who lets you know in simple terms what he identifies as problems and how he can rectify them. He will provide quotes for major work so there are no surprises. Fantastic experience: I have severe medical PTSD which isn’t from dental procedures but it still impacts it and I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sarah’s for several years. She’s amazing, so empathetic and compassionate and really accommodating to my needs. She makes the whole process so much easier. The admin staff are also really caring and understanding. I highly recommend this practice and Sarah to anyone who struggles with anxiety around procedures.

Negative experience: Such a shame. The Dentist Dr. Neil McElvanna was great! So professional, so quick, friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the receptionist just ruined it for us, she wouldn’t let us contact ur insurance company on the spot and she hurried us and told us “that’s the problem with being a backpacker”. Just made us feel uncomfortable and attacked. So sorry that she ruined the GREAT experience we had. Wouldn’t come again only because of her.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Duran Stander for a few years, starting with completing all my required fillings and now just regular cleans and check-ups. He is brilliant at explaining any processes regarding dental health, it is really fascinating to learn about why decay occurs, how, where fillings are most likely, etc. Since seeing Dr Stander regularly, I have been lucky to not require any more fillings, but he is always on the go to remind of places where cavities are likely to pop up and to keep an eye out on them, and offering options for troublesome teeth. Reception at this practice is always very welcoming and absolutely lovely, and they always have a nice oil diffuser in the background making the place smell amazing and very relaxing, inviting atmopshere :) Sad to be leaving town - great dentist practice! Highly recommend

I broke a tooth in Brisbane and was travelling home to Cairns, I call the North Cairns office and they moved things around for me and i my tooth repaired with in 48 hours. After ringing around and being told 5-7 days

Negative experience: Unfortunately, not recommended for those who didn't have the luxury of dental treatments as a child and who are self conscious of their teeth. Practitioner was condescending and insulting, and flatly refused to give an invisalign consult, as per the appointment. A disturbing experience.

Fantastic experience: After having a painful experience getting a filling 10 years ago, I was nervous about getting another one done. Dr Neil McElvana and his assistant were calming, their manor helped me to feel at ease and they were considerate towards how I was feeling. I was informed about what was going to happen during my visit. I experienced no pain or discomfort at all during my treatment. I look forward to being able to visit Dr Neil McElvana for all my further treatments anxiety free.

Fantastic experience: I attended this practice with my deaf mother. The practice on arrival were polite, professional and accommodating. The difficult job we arrived to have performed for was explained and conducted gently with professional precision. I can highly recommend this practice. 11/10 job thank you.

Fantastic experience: My front center, left tooth filling needed replacing after 15 years, along with my permanent retainer on my top teeth. The front teeth are first noticed in a smile and it took me some time to find the right dentist to make sure that cosmetically, it would look fantastic. I was greeted by Neil and during consultation we made sure to discuss that the best outcome for my needs was acknowledged. Neil offered numbing and soothing music and I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep. Neil was very gentle and the procedure was extremely comfortable. Loving the new look that Nail at Maven gave me and I couldn't recommend him enough!! Thanks Maven Dental Cairns North.

Fantastic experience: Awesome clinic. Replaced a filling for me that I had been told elsewhere could only be treated by a root canal, saving me $1000! Also found another cavity that the previous dentist had missed. Mr Ashton is personable, professional and takes the time to explain all possible treatments and what they entail. I can't recommend him enough.
