She is kind, non-judgemental, thorough in her explanation of treatment and gentle. My treatments have been a little complicated but she has put me at ease and I know I'm in good hands.

Negative experience: Booked for a general check up, clean and to address some minor pain I had. Upon waiting and finally being taken through, I had a short exam and was told I couldn’t have a clean because the saliva machine broke earlier that morning. I waited for an hour while someone attempted to fix the machine, and was advised it would take longer then anticipated so I went to reception to re book. They didn’t have any time available and didn’t make an effort to fit me in despite being so inconvenienced already. I said I’d have to go elsewhere as the times didn’t work. They then wanted to still charge me for an initial exam despite nothing being done. Was a huge waste of time. I don’t understand why they didn’t just call and cancel given they couldn’t provide the service I’d booked in for.

Fantastic experience: Being a more recent patient with Dentist anxiety, the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere goes a long way to allay any anxious feelings, and the dental procedures carried out skillfully with no discomfort, one of the more pleasant Dentist visits I have experienced.

Fantastic experience: North Beach Dental is fantastic. I have a real phobia of dentists but they make you feel relaxed. They numb the area when they use anaesthetic so you can’t even feel the needle going in. I pulled my kids from a paediatric dentist to come here as they are so amazing and my kids love it here too.

Fantastic experience: Two broken molars sheared straight off at the gum level and she drilled and fixed them both without one hint of pain or discomfort, or anaesthetic. Brilliant. I have found my new dentist and she is amazing. Thank you.

I have some complex dental issues, along with the regular dental maintenance and have been really impressed with the treatment I have received so far. Fantastic experience: I have recently started going to this dental clinic through a friends recommendation, in the last half a year. I was scared after previous bad experiences at other dentists. I would highly recommend them and have been telling many friends. The dentist is very gentle, even the needle when needed I can hardly feel. She cares about the patient and wants to ensure they feel minimal pain. All the staff are lovely and make you feel welcome. I know I've found the only dental clinic I will keep returning to.

Dr Shoko Tsuchiya has been there the last couple of years and is extremely professional and has a kind and gentle approach. Her team that she works with are delightful and caring. Positive experience: I was looking for a nice local dentist after using a Perth dental chain for some time and not enjoying seeing a new dentist nearly each visit over the last 8 years. So having moved around the corner I decided to ask around for recommendations. Was referred to this small local service and have been delighted from the beginning. When I presented to the reception I was offered an appointment that day and told I had come to the right place! My new dentist was charming and friendly and more important took care that fillings were as pain free as possible. Thoroughly recommend the attention to detail and warm friendly approach. Very happy with my new dentist.
