Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Dr J Wong and it was an excellent experience. Booking was super easy and I got the reminder I needed! The place was easy to find, with lots of parking, and the facilities are excellent. Josiah made me feel very at ease and talked me through what we would be doing. He gave me lots of options for my treatment and ensured I understood what was happening with my teeth and some reasons why too. All the staff were kind and the hygienist was delightful. Aside from those important things I just wanted to also add that I have been ashamed of my teeth for over a decade, hiding them due to the stains and discolouring. After today I'm smiling from ear to ear. He cleaned them so well and even removed the stubborn yellowing that I thought was permanent. I feel a million bucks today. Thanks Dr Wong! Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Not being local to the Geelong community, this wonderful dentist team fitted me in upon request due to a sore tooth. I spoke to Monica in reception who was incredibly professional and kind. Dr Walsh was the dentist I had the pleasure of seeing - he was prompt and helped me as much as he could even keeping my local dentist in the loop which was received happily on the other end. Would highly recommend this dentist to anyone and everyone. Thank you for being so helpful.

Fantastic experience: I recently had all on 4 surgery through Geelong Dental and implant Centre. I am still going through the process but the after care I have received is second to none. The staff are extremely professional, caring and competent and have incredible technology. I am extremely grateful for the care I have received so far and glad that I chose to go with them. Fantastic experience: Excellent, thorough and pain free dental care. Staff are friendly, welcoming and highly professional. Highly recommend - going to the dentist is now a positive experience.

Negative experience: Utterly disappointed. Wish I stayed away from this place because they are just regular dentists, not specialist periodontists. This means that they can do basic procedures but for more advanced procedures you need to see a specialist. Don't expect them to tell you this because they don't want to lose out on a customer. Very greedy and unethical! Going here ended up costing me a lot of money and what's worse Dr Stolz almost ruined any chance of me ever getting an implant on my 41 tooth. Had I not found a specialist periodontist I would have had to wear a bridge. If you have thin bones like me, I highly recommend staying away from this practice since they do not specialise in restoration of bone mass (they say they do but they are not qualified to do this). Perhaps they are capable of doing implants for people with thick bone mass. I also found the hygienic practices to be of mediocre standard. It has been over a year and a half since I saw Dr Stolz and I'm still undergoing procedures to restore the state of my bone. Luckily I found an excellent specialist periodontist who doesn't cut any corners and is highly qualified with this work. Update: despite Dr Stolz's pessimism in his reply, the dental implant performed by a qualified periodontist turned out a success. The chance of success for the implant was reduced from an estimated 97% to 70% by the periodontist. The reason for the reduced success estimate? He first had to undo the poor work done by Dr Stolz. Regardless, the implant procedure had succeeded and since I have had other dentists compliment the work done by my periodontist in Melbourne. Dr Stolz's claim that he carried out no treatment on me is a blatant lie. Dr Stolz had removed my 41 tooth and had a poor attempt at a bone graft procedure that should only be performed by a licensed periodontist. Update #2: Following my initial review, Dr Stolz replied to this Google review, prompting me to add the first update above. He has since taken down his reply. I'm writing this so that people are aware of him doing this, and so that my initial update makes sense when reading. Update #3: it has been over 10 years since I had my implant and it’s still going strong. Dr Gary Yip in Balwyn saved my smile in the prime of my life. If I could I’d give zero stars to Geelong Dental Centre.

Fantastic experience: Attended geelong dental centre for the first time yesterday for a check up after my previous dental practice changed hands and I wanted somewhere closer to home. After returning today for some additional work I can confidently say the welcoming vibe, expert & honest advice, and relaxed but professional approach to dentistry will see me return. Fantastic experience: I moved from a Melbourne Dentist to Geelong Dental and Implant and regret I did not have the contact year's earlier. Highly respectful of my elderly mum, innovative solutions for both of us for our dental issues. Resilient and did not stop until they found solutions that put her at ease as well as myself. I cannot recommend Tim, Andrew and their staff highly enough. All staff there the nurses and reception exude professionalism and care and that combination is rare. I will go nowhere else.

Fantastic experience: Could not be happier with the services from Geelong Dental & Implant Centre. Dr. Stolz and his staff were professional , courteous and confident during my procedure and I was at ease from the moment I walked into the clinic. I would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I really wish that I could rate Dr Stolz less than one star. Several years ago I went to his practice for 6 dental crowns. Dr Stolz seemed very confident and assured me of the treatment he suggested. However, after the surgery was completed I was left and still suffer from a great deal of pain and discomfort. I now wished that I would have checked the online reviews of his other patients on his Facebook Business page and Google. After the surgery was completed, Dr Stolz was a different person. I had to visit his clinic at least 5 or 6 occasions and all he told me was to 'take a holiday on a beach for a few weeks' or shrugged his shoulders and told me there was nothing he could do. If you are looking for a dentist in Geelong who is rude, incompetent and will treat you like garbage once you have paid the invoice Dr Stolz is your person. However, if you value honesty, integrity and good workmanship there are many other options in Geelong. Read the other reviews on the Internet and stay away from this dental practise!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank the Geelong Dental and Implant Centre and particularly Dr Tim Stolz for the exceptional care and excellent treatment over the last few years. I have experienced great satisfaction in care and ongoing treatment. The changes to my teeth have made a big difference to my quality of life. It has been well worth the effort to travel the 2 hrs to receive this specialised care.
