Negative experience: weird atmosphere, told me i needed several things done but when i went somewhere else they said i didnt. very desperate for money.

Fantastic experience: Today I had a scaling and cavity treatment done, and I was really impressed with Dr. Lewis. He explained everything about my teeth very clearly and carried out the treatment in a way that left me completely satisfied. Although I had to get anesthesia, it was by far the least painful experience I’ve ever had. Throughout the procedure, he kept explaining what he was doing, which made me feel very comfortable. He’s a thoughtful and highly skilled dentist—I definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Writing this review on behalf of my mum (Padma) who had an exceptional experience with Dr Nalini Prasad on 10 May 2025 and also around 2 years ago. Dr Nalini shows an incredible and genuine ability to empathise with her patients. Yesterday, my mum attended her clinic while it was closed. Without any hesitation, Dr Nalini opened the clinic so she could treat my mum. She took time to listen and understand what her issues were and never tried to rush or speed her along, but understood that she was uncomfortable and in pain. Despite having a busy schedule, Dr Nalini was attentive and patient. By the end of the appointment, my mum felt completely comfortable that her issues had been addressed and she had been provided with outstanding care and support. I am extremely grateful to Dr Nalini and would recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: I have been a few times, I will never return. Always had to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a regular clean (with private health). I was told I needed a filling, got it done and was charged hundreds. Recently went to a different dentist, they advised the filling wasn't needed at all. They also confirmed I'm entitled to 2 free cleans a year with my insurance coverage. Star Smiles overcharges and hike up their prices, also convince you that extra work is needed. Posting this so people are aware.

Negative experience: I sent an email requesting an appointment. After waiting a week for any response, I followed up by calling during business hours, and the call was never answered. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Dentist was good. Place was clean and facility were good. Having gone through my extra's insurance, was overcharged. Agree gap has to paid but, it should be notified during the process without surprises. What was supposed to an annual check up, without explicitly informing or getting consent was charged at the end as gap. Dentist did a simple floride treatment and charging 38 buck's that is outright nd outrageous abuse. A discussion with reception staff member led to an arrogant answer, than hearing the complaint or customer point of view. Sharing this comments for the benefit of other customers. I have myself and my son who wanted to also book an appointment but, will never site this place. Be cautious be upfront. Dont be cheated. Not complaining about the doctors or the facility.

Fantastic experience: By far is the best Dentist/Orthodontist which i have ever visited. All the staff are extremely well experienced, they are also very comforting, When i decided to get braces, they were very patient and understandable. In a way the staff got rid of any fear of going to the Dentist.

The dentist was very understanding and ensured the procedure was pain-free for me. They also gave clear instructions to manage the wound afterwards making my recovery short and less painful. Overall a good experience!

Fantastic experience: I'm super afraid of the seeing the dentist but everyone at Star Smiles is professional and understanding and really go out of their way to ease my anxieties and do such a great job on keeping my teeth healthy. I take all my three kids there too, they're a fantastic family friendly dentist.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Star Smiles dentistry. I had not been to the dentist for 15 years because I was scared, and then at age 61 it became imperative that I go if I wanted to keep my teeth. I was ashamed of my teeth and hadn’t smiled properly for years. Dr Nalini immediately put me at ease with her lovely caring manner. I had a lot of work to be done because I had neglected my teeth for so long, but not one of the treatments has been painful or unpleasant. I am now smiling openly and can eat whatever I like without discomfort. Thank you to Dr Nalini & her caring, gentle team. I have no fear of going back for my 6 monthly checkups now.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Nalini since I got my braces at 13yo, ten years later I still go to Star Smiles. It’s always a great experience, they are always following up and genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. I’ve had 2 wisdom teeth out in the chair there with no problems. I am petrified of going to the dentist but they are so gentle and nice about it that I always leave with a very clean, happy smile - thanks to them!
