As you know Ashley, we called you as soon as we saw this very unsettling review. You told us it wasn't your own visit to us that prompted your review but that of a loved one (L1). Strangely, the visit in question was 2 years prior to making the review. On the phone you described to us that your L1 is very nervous and in hearing the very comprehensive examination and charting procedure your L1 became distraught. This obviously was never our aim in such an appointment. However there is much detail to record and the recording process needs to be performed by a dental assistant operating the computer keyboard sitting near the dentist. This is a must to avoid bodily from the dentists gloves contaminating on the keyboard. ie the dentist must not type their own notes in mid examination. At the end of the appointment the results of the examination are summarized in a discussion with the patient and a treatment plan and options are discussed. In the case of L1 very little treatment was suggested other than the routine cleaning. There have been many changes to our clinic since the changes in staff. We now have a cohesive team dedicated to excellence in everything everything we do. We are proud of our staff and processes. In you offering only one star ignores and insults all the efforts of the staff in every step we take to make a dental appointment a valuable, comfortable, good experience from the point of receiving your phone call, to the waiting room comfort, to being escorted into the rooms, to being escorted out of the rooms and then dealing with all the paper work and health fund requirements and any complications or issues that may arise from there. We aim for excellence in every step and interestingly you ignored all that effort from the staff and team in issuing your 1 star and that was after a whole 2 years lapse after the appointment in question. So we all feel this review severity is unwarranted and all the staff that make up our team are all upset by this review. However we do offer your L1 and yourself the best and we hope that the new dentist you have chosen can satisfy your requirements.
Fantastic experience: I have had problems with my teeth since being a teenager. Chipped teeth, missing teeth, wear and tear and natural grinding since I was young hasn't helped me. I was recommended to Adrian and his crew at Safety Bay Dental and he took my difficult job on. He said it would be a long road to full repair but he instilled faith in me like no other dentist has. Over about 14 months he saw to all my issues, mostly on Saturdays too. Adrian and his staff gave my back my confidence and my smile. His care, attention to detail and his skill levels when it came time to solve problems are second to none. He is extremely fair in his costings, could even say discounted compared to other clinics. Most of all, his genuine integrity allowed me to trust him with everything he did. I feel like I won some kind of lottery meeting him. To Adrian and his staff, thank you for everything you did for me... I would highly recommend Safety Bay Dental Care Clinic to anyone who requires the full range of dental work. Cheers! Negative experience: I had a broken tooth, I was in the chair no longer than 15 mins and said goodbye to $400 talk about price gouging.
Hi Blake, please contact us so we can reassess your situation and reassess the account. We have checked our records but we have not seen someone with your name this year. We do have strict ceilings on hourly rates for our fees and what you have described is well outside the ceiling. So contact us directly and we should be able to clear this up.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist in Perth! I’ve been seeing Dr. Richard Grayson for over 10 years(so have 5 others in my family). He recently cleaned all teeth and made a filling on the side of my rear Molar with 100% NO PAIN. Dr. Grayson’s knowledge and education during the appointment was greatly beneficial in it’s own. Strangely, I became quite disappointed when he told me I don’t need to come back for 12 months, as I’d be more than happy to visit Safety Bay Dental more frequently when receiving that top level of service!
