Fantastic experience: George is amazing. I had not been to the dentist regularly before coming to Rivergum smiles, due to bad experiences, George and Lena are so calm and patient that I am no longer petrified of going to the dentist for my regular checkups. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

I've taken my two kids there regularly, and they've been fantastic with them - extremely professional, wonderfully child-friendly, and very approachable. Fantastic experience: In agony from a previous dentist, my partner took me to see Dr. George and . They assessed me immediately and scheduled me to return the following morning. The dental work was carried out calmly and with absolute professionalism. Pain free dental work and very cost effective. The compassion and empathy has won us both as future customers. Definitely spreading the positive word regarding this establishment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr George and Lina are fantastic. I cracked a tooth on a nut a couple of nights ago and was in agony. I rang very close to closing time and Lina offered me an emergency appt the very next morning at 8am before work. The procedure was virtually painless despite being very close to the nerve as it was also a complication from an old filling. , Dr George was so incredibly gentle yet thorough. What I noticed is is he really takes great care in getting the bite right in the end. I’ve had so many times I’ve had to return to previous dentists as finish was uneven. Not this one! Very thorough and feels normal very next day. I was able to to work straight after and was no longer in so much pain. Thank you George and Lina. I will be bringing my little ones here too!

Fantastic experience: George is an absolute gem. He always gives the most informative advice. Giving you different options for the best oral health for you. The dentist is not my favourite place to be but George is so gentle and talks you through every step of the procedure. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist. I have a phobia about it. Well. My experience at Rivergum Smiles could not have been better. I knew that I had to get my tooth out, and had been avoiding going to a dentist for at least 3 years. I held out until my mouth started aching because of the tooth. I contacted them, they got me in quick. The dentist was amazing. Was calm and patient with me. He explained every step of what he was doing. I know this was a difficult extraction, but he did amazing. Did not feel it and the pain was minimal. Even now after having had it done. although I am in pain, it is not major. It was also not overpriced for the work he did. Having only lived in the area 2 yeas or so, I think I have found my new dentist.To finish off, he explained that I would get a call in couple of days to make sure I was okay. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been seeing Dr George and Lina for a few years now. Dr George is very professional, he is kind and compassionate and explains everything before he starts. I had to have two fillings done today and for the first time ever I did not want an injection. Dr George was so gentle I did not feel a thing. He continually asked if I was ok and kept drilling ever so gently. My 23 year old daughter was petrified of dentists until she met Dr George now she happily goes to see him as does my son. I highly recommend Dr George at Rivergum smiles and his assistant wife Lina they are beautiful people and you will be as happy as my family are. Thank you Dr George and Lina stay well stay safe :)

Fantastic experience: George is the most meticulous dentist I have known and I have seen a few across different countries. He takes so much care with your root canal procedure and refused to do a quick fill it and forget it job when I asked. I got his contact from a friend when I had severe toothache and George was willing to come back when he was half way home after having closed shop, when I explained my predicament. I should also mention Leena, who doubles up as his assistant and takes care of the appointments etc. Very friendly and tries to accommodate you as much as possible.

Fantastic experience: Had my RCT done in few sittings a year back. Though, I had pretty big and deep rooted third molar but, Dr. George did it skilfully. Not only did he save my tooth but made it pain free and still going good.

Fantastic experience: I took my 82 year old mother to see Dr George Thomas recently for some emergency dental work. I have to say both my mother and I were very impressed with Dr Thomas. He was professional and extremely patient with my elderly mother. He explained what he was doing and we never felt rushed. I took my mother to this clinic because its close to the nursing home she resides in. I usually read google reviews but there was no time. I rarely give reviews but felt impelled in this case. I have since made an appointment for myself and my children. By the way, his prices are very reasonable.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! If I could give less of a review I would, from the very start of my brother's treatment there were constant problems, my brother was left with his braces continuously falling apart as it was never done correctly, he was always blamed for being "too rough with them" and told about all these extra charges he would face, YET over 5 times when his wire came out it was due to him EATING, this should NOT have happened. We discussed a payment plan which would see the treatment being paid off over a 24 month period, my brother has been treated for less than 6 months and the clinic has been DEMANDING payment otherwise they will cease his treatment. Then today they rang up after constant disgusting phone calls saying that they expect FULL PAYMENT and they are TERMINATING his treatment. We had also asked them to provide us with an itomised treatment plan so we can claim it on Medibank Private and he DID NOT KNOW how to do this for us, something that every orthodontist should KNOW how to do !!!! Absolutely disgusting, money hungry people! DO NOT GO HERE! We will also be consulting with small claim tribunal to receive a compensation of the payment that was already made!
