Located close to the centre of Gisborne, the practice is meticulously maintained, and Tim and Yen ensure that (what is for some a nerve-wracking experience) a dental appointment is completed calmly and professionally.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Tim was fantastic. I had initially told him that this was my first time and he accommodated perfectly by asking questions and keeping me engaged and it made my experience wonderful. In addition, my appointment was an extraction of a wisdom tooth and Dr Tim’s extraction was absolutely impeccable. No pain, quick, effective and perfectly executed. Dr Tim is also not the only superstar to encounter here but also, at reception you’ll be greeted by the amazing Yen who will look after you with a smile on her face. It was seriously such an amazing experience. You will have no regrets coming here. Thank you Dr Tim And Yen!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m glad I came here for my dental needs, referred to by family members. Dr Tim and Yen are really lovely and friendly people, sincere and understanding. I had terrible earache and tooth pain and as Dr Tim was fully booked, Yen made an emergency appointment for me and both Dr Tim and Yen came in very early from afar to treat me. I had wisdom tooth removed and crowning done. The whole experience was very pleasant even though I am one scaredy cat when come to dentist. Dr Tim is gentle, soft spoken and confident. Yen is also such a gentle lady with a kind face. She just held my hands whenever she is not assisting Dr Tim and kept reassuring me to trust Dr Tim in his work to raise my confidence. Fantastic experience: I've seen Tim primarily for cosmetic/restorative purposes and have found the service to be efficent, painless and accomodating. I travel a reasonable distance and especially during the odd open months during Covid lockdowns Tim and Yen ensured that enough time was allocated for which I could have the work done on the same day. Tim is exceptional in his work of cosmetic dentistry, i'd initially had composite veneers by Tim and later opted for the Cerec's. Tim is fastidious in his work and captures all the nuance of a natural smile - no 'horse teeth' veneers, no ostentatious whitening. I get compliments on my fantastic teeth and how lucky I am to be naturally selected but I just have the good fortune to have found a fantastic dentist.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Macedon Ranges Dentistry for four years, after not attending the dentist for several years due to fear of pain and the cost. Dr Tim has since done all he can to repair my teeth and assist me in maintaining them. Never have I ever been to a dentist that was so gentle and took such great care to make the experience comfortable and pain free. Upfront pricing and clear explanations of options available for treatment are an added bonus. Dr Tim, Yen and the rest of the team do an amazing job. They really do care for their patients and go above and beyond to provide the best treatment. I have since brought my children here and would highly recommend Macedon Ranges Dentistry, especially for those who are afraid of the dentist or have had bad experience in the past.

Fantastic experience: Best experience I have ever had at a dentist! After having many major pieces of work done over my lifetime I just avoided the dentist but found Tim and now all fixed up - future proofed even! Tim never allows you to feel pain (not even the needle!) and they are so reasonably priced compared with others that I couldn’t recommend this business highly enough. Fantastic experience: I recently had a Wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Tim at Macedon Ranges Dentistry. I presented extremely nervous and full of trepidation thanks to dentists in my younger days. Dr Tim who has a gentle manner reassured me that all would be well. The anaesthetic was administered ( no big needles) painlessly and within seconds the tooth was removed. It was absolutely painless and I have had no discomfort since. I was amazed the tooth had been extracted so painlessly and so quickly. I was still waiting for the worst to happen but it was all over. Tim’s practice is cutting edge with all the latest in modern technology . I’ve also had several crowns done by Tim. They are done in one appointment thanks to Cerec Computer assisted technology. Dr Tim is a very skilled dentist and I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: We have been with Tim for over six years and always had good service. Tim was wonderful with my Mum who was in her late nineties. Tim has listened to our needs and given us various options. He does the cleaning and doesn't leave it to a hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I have enjoyed the quality of service and professionalism of Tim, Yen and the team for a number of years. The use of music and great video on the overhead television help me relax during treatment. The bookings are done in such a way as to keep the waiting room free of too many clients. This peaceful approach to denistry puts the client first. If you are concerned about visiting the dentist this practice is for you. Odd thing to say but I look forward to having this aspect of my health care catered for by Tim. I haven't thought this way about dentistry before.

Fantastic experience: After finding that a root canal had developed an infection underneath the tooth I decided that it needed to come out. Tim did an amazing job with my extraction. After the first injection to numb my gum I didn't feel a thing until that evening when the anesthetic started to wear off. Totally Amazing Experience.

Negative experience: Acceptable dental procedures but BEWARE of totally unacceptable misleading billings which as a fellow health professional I found quite abhorrent and a disgrace to the profession.
