Fantastic experience: Although I've moved out of the area i still prefer to travel to Bondi Beach to see Helen from Bondi Dentistry, i feel confident in her ability and know that she will fix any dental issues i have, thank you Helen for your care.

I have never doubted any of the work she has done on my teeth, which is more than I can say for other dentists I’ve been to in the past, and I have also never felt like I have been overcharged. Quite the opposite. Helen also has a great sense of humour and always up for a chat and laugh. I have recommended her to many of my friends and colleagues, who all say the same thing. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Helen at Bondi Dentistry for some 18 years now. The service is outstanding, the care is excellent and the amazing dental work was completed to perfection. The cost was competitive and cheaper than most dentists. Prior to going to Dr Helen, I was terrified of dental appointments and after my first consultation I felt totally at ease about moving forward with extensive and difficult dental work. My family and friends now go to Dr Helen and my partner just had the most beautiful and natural veneers done - they look so amazing I call it the Hollywood Smile! When I get my teeth cleaned I also get my botox injections done, it's a one stop shop for me which is important as I have a busy schedule. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Amazing, caring and a master of dentistry and cosmetic injections.

Negative experience: This is the first time that I write a review, go to this clinic has been a horrible experience. One of my filling broke and I went to have it fix. Helen made me a new filling. A few hours later, already with the anesthesia gone, when I went to eat something, I experienced a big pain. I came back and she said probably the filling was high, and adjusted it. I told her that pain wasn’t normal, she advised me to eat from the other side of my mouth, and be very patience and wait, she said even if the relief of the pain was slow just had to be very patient because probably the area was sensitive and needed time to heal by itself. The pain effectively was reducing so I waited, but 2 months after I still had pain while eating, so I came back again. This time her diagnosis was that maybe one of the cusps was cracked, I told her that I didn’t have any pain when I came for first time and obviously something went wrong during the procedure. And she said that she had a lot of experience and that maybe I cracked the tooth myself by eating or grinding my teeth while I was numb after the filling! Also, she said that I waited too long, which I did following her advice! I was astonished. She offered me to fix it, of course I said no, my trust on her at this point was zero. I went to another dentist, very scared after this experience and not knowing what was wrong with my tooth. They removed the filling and re-do it, and the pain was gone. Also, Helen refused to refund me the $250. Is really sad having this sort of experience, I hope this help someone.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Helen Kanikevich. She did some veneers on my front teeth 12 years ago. Usually this type of work lasts around 8 years. Last Sunday I was careless and destroyed one of them. The next day I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr Helen. She fixed everything and for a very reasonable price. I need to say I have not been to see her at all in that 12 year period. Dr Helen has advised I need some work done on other teeth (not cosmetic this time), however, she is not at all pushy about making me come back to do the work and is very honest about cost. I will definitely return for this. I hope that if you are reading this review you will ignore all previous negative reviews. I doubt you’d find a more experienced, caring dentist in the Eastern subs who is definitely not out to rip you off. Highly recommend this experienced, lovely, caring dentist.

Negative experience: Helen is nice person, but incompetent dentist. Three times in a row she was trying to put a filling in the same tooth. Each time fillings didn't last two month. Every time she charged me, despite her unability to do a job right first time. Wouldn't recommend her service to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been using Dr. Kanikevich for over 12 years now. Let’s face it, no one likes the dentists chair, yet her generous and nurturing nature makes each visit comfortable and eliminates our anxiety. For the level of service she is very reasonably priced and the fact that she’s local is very convenient.

Negative experience: Every single tooth I had done with that doctor, I had issues with not long after and had to have treatments with other doctors. She talks like a pro, and after first treatment I thought she was great. But she is not a pro, she is all talk, since none of the filling she did stayed for long. The good thing she can always "squeeze you in" on the very day you call.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been seeing Dr. Helen Kanikevich for over ten years. Cumulatively, we have had about every possible dental job done at Bondi Dentistry. Without exception, Dr. Kanikevich has always exceeded our expectations. She makes adults and children feel relaxed, and the results are always outstanding! Fantastic experience: Had an emergency dental situation when a tooth cracked eating dinner 2 days ago. Despite being fully booked Helen managed to squeeze me in. I was so grateful for that, and was so impressed by her caring and professional manner and of course for the relief she provided. Highly recommended!
