Negative experience: Get it in writing.I had a bad experience. Was assured by Practice Manager emphatically that there would be no balance to pay after health fund only to find I thought in error their wanting to bill $567. Straight to debt collector after 1 missed call to me, no invoice in the mail! Got letter last night when checked the mail and it's dated 13th Feb, to pay by 20th Feb. Today is already 3rd March. That's just not nice. Plus the crown is darker than my own teeth so not happy with their communication to Lab etching dark lines on new crown!. Communicate very clearly if you prefer crowns as white as your existing teeth. I did go in to speak with the dentist but he was too busy so I left. The receptionist said the Labs do try to make crowns look (Realistic?). Maybe better they actually don't use their own discretion so much & check what the patient wants.

Upon completion of your treatment, you left the practice without making payment or informing our team of any issues. As a result, our team made multiple attempts to contact you via phone and email. Additionally, Dr. Alvin Chye personally reached out to you with a phone call, followed by an SMS, but unfortunately, we did not receive any response.
Regarding your crown shade, our goal is always to match restorations as closely as possible to natural teeth. Labs follow specific instructions, and we regret if the outcome did not meet your expectations. We encourage all patients to communicate any concerns directly with the dentist so adjustments can be made where possible.

Fantastic experience: I just had a "Dry Socket" emergency and Complete Dental were my Christmas Angels. I got a same day appointment and Tom was the most caring dentist. I cannot recommend this surgery highly enough, from front desk to nurse, they are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I had four impacted wisdom teeth removed yesterday under twilight sedation and going in I was very nervous as I have had negative experiences at previous dental clinics and had actually been putting the removal off for quite some time. But I was nervous for nothing, it went so well and I honestly don’t recall anything due to the twilight sedation which I’m very happy with. And was also given a goody bag on my departure with steps on how to deal with recovery. Very happy and positive experience

Fantastic experience: I have dental phobia & find it difficult to visit the dentist. Roger at Complete Dental is very compassionate about this phobia & puts me at ease every time. I have twilight sedation & get all work done at once. The anaesthesist is very good too. Roger also did my daughters braces.Very professional practice with excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this group of dental clinics - I usually go to the Wynnum West practice which I also rate highly and for my most recent appointment, I needed my clean and check-up on a Saturday so was booked into the Lota site. The team are just fantastic! Emma and Celona at the front desk are super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Dr Michelle was so attentive and efficient with my clean. All staff here are just 11/10. I’m also made to feel so comfortable here. Even though I’ve moved away from the area, I still come back for my 6-monthly appointments. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was on a search for a new dentist after my previous one moved along in their career. I selected this group after reading the positive reviews, and felt that I should add yet another! The staff are kind and I heard plenty of laughter, and being near happy people put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I snapped three front teeth in half in an accident (ouch) and these guys cleared an urgent Saturday appointment for me, managed to rebuild my missing teeth and explained exactly what they were doing as they went along so I knew what was going on. They took the time to show me where the broken bone was in the x-ray and everyone was very nice. It was way cheaper than I thought it would be too. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Negative experience: I had to get a molar removed as it was growing on a slant into my cheek they told me I had no choice the tooth had to go. They removed the molar and sent me on my way, I had to go back the next day as I was in extreme pain I was told it was "dry socket" (it wasn't) They cleaned out the hole, fixed up the stitchers in my mouth gave me pain killers and sent me on my way. After the script of pain killers was finished the tip and one side of my tongue would go numb (no feeling at all) I would also get pain at the extraction site. After the stitchers dissolved my gum pushes out a large bit of tooth that was left in there from the extraction that 2 separate qualified dentist's missed. My gum is now permanently deformed at the extraction site and my tongue still goes numb too this day. I visited both practices the one in wynnum and the one at lota

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible administration and they have unskilled staff, apparently Roger is the only person that can complete any procedure. I have spent more than $20k at this practice over the last 3 years and I plead all future customers to give this practice a very wide berth.

Negative experience: They make it obvious when they don't want you as a patient they say no booking sorry even in an emergency not being able to eat at Christmas time and they don't care one bit if you care for your kids don't go there.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very friendly and caring. Equipment is modern as is the general fit out. My Dentist and Dental Nurse could not have been more caring, gentle and patient. Yes I went back for more. : )

Fantastic experience: The staff are very genuine and easy to talk to. We had a small misunderstanding and they were not afraid to discuss it and sort out, which was great. Having recent work done through them, I would recommend these guys to anyone.
Fantastic experience: We had braces for my daughter done by dr Bastow. I was very happy with the care, she had a big overbite and dr Bastow avoided pulling out any of her teeth although that was an option. We will be coming back for our other child’s braces.

Fantastic experience: Nothing but excellent things to say about this practice. My son is nearly at completion of braces, their payment plan is great, their staff are very friendly and Dr Badstow who we see for Ortho is great with kids / teens. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: This practice is always pleasant to visit, with attentive reception staff and friendly, gentle dentists. I've been visiting Dr Dixon for many years, she takes the time to explain procedures, and asks if I'm going ok throughout the appointment to ensure I am comfortable. She also offers expert advice to help in my overall dental healthcare between visits. I would recommend the practice to anyone who is wanting a friendly and welcoming dental practice!
Fantastic experience: Having always had a dislike for visits to the dentist I was very apprehensive about finding a new dentist in the area. After trying one other local dentist, I tried Complete Dental at Wynnum - and what a relief. Dr Chye instantly put me at ease - very professional, friendly and understanding of my apprehension.
Fantastic experience: I've always been really happy with the care I've received at Complete Dental! I've been a patient for a few years now. Prior to my first visit, I had avoided the Dentist for several years and was quite apprehensive about coming, but everyone was so kind and welcoming, they made the experience as pleasant as possible! The practice has grown a lot, but I always feel like everyone - from the front desk staff to the Dentists and nurses, take the time to really look after you. Would definitely recommend the surgery.
Negative experience: A month ago, I had the most terrible experience at Wynnum complete dental. The grumpy old dentist didn't complete the teeth cleaning job I paid for, and when I pointed out to him the teeth that he did no clean/missed, he called me the hardest patient (all I was mannerly asking for was for him to complete the job). I submitted a formal complaint to them with no response, which is why I am posting this. In my opinion they should be called Incomplete Dental, because doing a quick incomplete job means the next customer can get processed in this dental factory sooner. my family and my relatives was shocked to hear my story, we will never come back again!!
