Fantastic experience: Dr Tavakol is really great! I dislike the dentist in general but have been back a couple of times, quite a calm experience. Pricing is reasonable too.

Dr Tina is kind, gentle and compassionate and I highly recommend her to everyone. They work with your budget and schedule and my teeth have never been healthier.

She’s so gentle, patient and explains everything that’s happening throughout the procedure and checks in with you regularly to make sure you’re comfortable. Positive experience: It was a standard experience. A little painful but due to my own gums being swollen. It was too expensive. $370 for checkup and clean with x rays. Very nice staff. Punctual.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tina - the only dentist I trust in the world having been to a most nonchalant one in Sydney years ago. She is sympathetic, empathetic and I trust her with my body - something I can’t say for most people and doctors. I wait all year while overseas to get back to this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tina Tavakol is excellent. She is knowledgeable and will take the time to explain what I need to know in a way that I can understand. The health of my mouth has improved noticeably since I have been a patient here. The other staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Negative experience: I was grossly overcharged for a wisdom tooth removal. I have been advised by my health fund and other local dentists the true cost for the procedure that was performed. Upon trying to come to a solution, I have been told to “make a complaint if I feel that’s necessary”. Very disappointed because they did everything else right and if it wasn’t for this, I would’ve returned for follow up appointments. Not anymore. Very expensive and would not recommend. You should not have to ring around to get quotes for a tooth removal— stop ripping off vulnerable people who are in pain. It’s disgusting and you should be able to trust your dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dental team (the dentist and her assistant) were fantastic- gentle and friendly. I felt reassured by Dr Tavakol and extremely informed about the situation. She went through and explained my xrays to me. The receptionist also went out of his way to explain the treatment plan to me and was super helpful and empathetic. This is my first dental treatment since living in Australia and I was so glad I chose this clinic- thanks :)

Fantastic experience: This dentist has the best service I have ever experienced at a dentist, at each step of the procedure I was told clearly what was going on, where options were available they were all explained quickly and clearly without bias toward the more expensive option which has been tried by others in the area. The work was done quickly and with care, I am instantly a loyal customer, even the wait was short with no double bookings and on-time treatment! I've been to all 3 dentists nearby now and was left with a 'sour' taste in my mouth after higher costs, shoddy work retouched, insane prices charged and 'temporar' fillings put in without my consent when their 'machine broke' in the days prior to my visit leaving me inconvenienced and with horrible face pain in the interim.

Positive experience: Overpriced.

Every time I have been, the staff have taken time to explain any issues (fillings required, how to floss and gum health etc) to me and ensure that I understand. Fantastic experience: It's been 7+ years since my last experience with a dentist and so i was anxious and nervous as you can imagine. You kind of expect the procedure to be painful and all that jazz right? Well I was shocked the minute i sat down. Is it weird if i say i enjoyed the experience? haha. Tina and her team treated me like a king. They literally asked me every minute "are you in any pain or discomfort". Simply wow! They administrated with such professionalism and care that i would advise anyone to go there ASAP. They changed my personal view of the whole dentist experience. AAA+

Fantastic experience: For years I have had an exaggerated fear of going to the dentist. My last visit was at 14 in high school. I remember being terrified of the drills, needles and most of all had an irrational fear of the pain. At 25, I started suffering very bad tooth aches and I knew my teeth were becoming badly decayed. I took the plunge and visited Tina at Dental on Park. It turns out I have had to have A LOT of work completed to create a healthy environment in my mouth. I can proudly say after roughly eight visits, my dental fear is cured. However, if you are scared... go and see Dental on Park. They will cure your fear. They offer options for anxiety, and their surgery is pain free, they have great anaesthetic!! You won’t regret choosing this dentist.
