Fantastic experience: Awesome Dental Practice. I am a reasonably new patient having moved into the area a couple of years ago, and like most people going to the Dentist is not my favourite past-time - however the experience at NDC McCrea St has been a surprise and a pleasure! The Dentist I have been seeing (David Sims) is a breath of fresh air, and put me at ease immediately with his informative and friendly manner. Also a big callout to the Reception staff who are always very helpful, and a delight to deal with. 10/10 from me.

Negative experience: I went there and needed to get a tooth out or filling and gave me an adrenaline injection and it took me into add arterial fibrillation it was a very terrible experience and then knew I had a heart ablation in 2023 I do not trust this dentist at all through this experience he filled my tooth then I went to Sydney and the tooth he filled i needed to get a root filling what a terrible experience I had if you have a heart problem make sure you ask for none adrenaline injection

Fantastic experience: Our family has been living in the area for almost 9 years and has tried four different dentists — and David Sims has been the best by far. The whole family is genuinely happy with the standard of care. David is patient, explains everything clearly, and takes his time during appointments. Unlike some other dentists who seem to be rushing through everything and working against the clock, David creates a calm and unhurried experience. Everyone is really satisfied and relieved to have found such a great dentist.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience at McCrae Dental. The service from the girls is friendly and inviting and are wonderful and patient with the kids. Dr David Sims is phenomenal!! So patient, diplomatic and provides options without bias. He makes me feels safe and heard and like I've had a thorough consult/clean.

Fantastic experience: I was very happy with my clean and checkup. Since they are a members first Bupa preferred, I get a free clean and checkup every 6 months. My last visit was the best clean I have ever had. It was amazing. The staff are super nice and had to stab back late to finish the whole family. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks heaps for a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I received great service. My procedure turned out to be a little more complicated than was first thought. The need to check plans was explained to me in an easy and professional manner. In the end, the procedure was successful and the team did a fantastic job.

Fantastic experience: They have very wonderful and friendly staff at the reception, I was always nervous when having dental work but Dr Sims was really helpful.Definitely recommend him.And the Strathfieldsaye dental where I got my tooth extracted was really good,I am always nervous when it comes to needles but I didn’t feel a thing when they put the needle in, I was so relaxed and calm until the end.Really happy patient.

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely anxious dental patient but not any more after visiting the Strathfieldsaye Clinic. It was by far the best and most positive experience I have ever had. After getting a broken back tooth that then developed a infection my anxiety was on high volume. The tooth was extracted with so much care and patience plus I had little or no discomfort that night. The next day it was as if I had never had a tooth pulled out.Best Dental Experience Ever Thank You

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shabeena Mansuri was highly recommended to me by my sister and now I have experienced her work for myself I second that recommendation! I am in the process of getting immediate dentures. 5 weeks ago Dr Shabeena removed all of my top teeth, 11 total. I had 100% trust in her going in after already having 3 lower molars out previously. Surprisingly it was quicker for the top..........she had them all out in approx 1/2 hour. When my Husband and Sister came back in they were shocked....I was just getting the denture in and was able to talk almost like normal! New teeth in an hour! Big thanks to Dr. Shabeena and her assistant for making my extraction day stress free. Their energy and demeanor was kind, caring, calm and very reassuring. I've found everyone at McCrae Dental to be lovely.I also took advantage of the option to use Supercare to fund this big procedure which alleviated a huge stress straight away! Heading back in today to get the impressions done for my lower partial plate..........so looking forward to having a full mouthful of functioning teeth for the first time in a lot of years! Highly Recommend Dr. Shabeena and all at McCrae Dental. p.s....also claps and cheers to the Technician whom crafted my new teeth! I have received so many compliments on the fact that they look like real teeth.....the color shape size, everything! The plate also fits really well. Dr Shabeena was very patient with me when choosing the color for my dentures as they needed to match my remaining teeth....I did not want a colgate smile! Thanks again team!

I have never been a fan of dental trips at anytime but I have been lucky enough to have found a dentist that is so caring, patient and has made the on going appointments a pleasant experience rather than a fearful event, . I want to thank Dr Shabeena who I would recommend highly to anyone. Every nurse or receptionist I have crossed paths with has been so friendly and lovely. Negative experience: Horrible experience which left me traumatised, in severe pain for several days, and with a serious medical condition. Unable to see my usual dentist, Sundeep, who is wonderful, for reasons unknown. Went through severe oral trauma and paid for it, just to lead to disappointing results. Very bad experience, personally wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with McCrae Street Dental. My first experience was with Kylie and she put me at complete ease and encouraged me in getting the treatment I needed. Having put off the dentist for too long due to bad experiences, I was embarrassed by how bad my teeth had become. She sent me to a specialist in case my issues were beyond her capabilities and is now following up my ongoing treatment. The dentist I saw for fillings, Sunni, was also great and put me at ease. My teeth are much better than they were and I feel supported to continue with the treatment rather than embarrassed to need it. If you have trouble with the dentist or feel embarrassed, go see Kylie. They are members first providers, so if with BUPA extras you can get a good amount back too.

Fantastic experience: Currently I am receiving some extensive dental work from the McCrae Dental Surgery, 168 McCrae Street Bendigo. I would say I am a very nervous dental patient, bordering on having a phobia. When I was told I was going to undergoing treatment for sometime my anxiety level rose. I didn’t have to worry though. This business operates with many professionals. I spoke to Tracey at the front counter who I found very friendly, knowledgeable, and after several detailed questions from her regarding my situation she encouraged me to see someone as soon as I could. I was booked into see Dr. Maanvender “Sunny” Singh. In my opinion, Sunny is a true professional with great attention to detail who also has an unbelievable dentistry skill. Prior to my dental work being carried out, I went over my concerns with him and he was able to put me at ease. My dental journey continues, and I know I am in good hands. Negative experience: I recently had an issue at this practice regarding some opacity around financials. I sent three emails and phoned. Third email was acknowledged and I was told the practice manager would contact me the following week to discuss my issue. Never heard back from them. Shall be taking my business elsewhere from now on. It could have sorted out rather easily too, with some simple communication.
