Fantastic experience: We’re so incredibly thankful to Dr. Louis and his wonderful team. Our little one had both a tongue and lip tie released, and the difference has been amazing. Before the procedure, she struggled with congestion and made clicking sounds while drinking from a bottle. We were often told by other doctors and nurses that things would improve with time as long as she gained weight, but looking back, our only regret is not getting it done sooner! Since the release, she’s been so much happier. Shes been babbling more, breathing clearly, and latching well on the bottle. It’s been such a joy to see her thrive. Dr. Louis is exceptionally patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and the procedure itself was quick and smooth. The aftercare instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the follow up appointments made us feel fully supported and reassured that we were doing everything correctly. A big thank you to Dr. Louis and his lovely team, you’ve truly made such a positive difference for our family. Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and cheerful, and that warmth really shines through. We couldn’t recommend you more highly!

Fantastic experience: Dr Chan’s knowledge and expertise had uncovered underlying issues that led me to saving a tooth that was previously recommended to be root canalled or pulled. I am incredibly thankful for his care and expertise helping me get to and treat the root cause. The visits to clinic and service from all the team are the best I have ever experienced; professional, friendly and caring including the acupuncture treatments. Fantastic experience: Dr. Yudith Kartiko is truly a lifesaver for my teeth! she is highly skilled and quickly identified my problem-periodontitis-and treated it with laser therapy. The entire procedure was completely stress-free, and the anesthesia wore off just one hour after treatment. Her assistant was gentle and caring, like an angel and the reception staff were very helpful, making the whole experience comfortable and reassuring. The result was immediate -both the dental and facial inflammation disappeared and I instantly felt lighter, healthier, and full of energy. The treatment cost less than Pacific Smiles and before I left, Dr. Yudith she kindly gave me a soft toothbrush along with clear guidance on how to take care of my teeth. The next morning, my smile returned, my confidence come back and so did my happiness! I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart. Dr. Yudith she solved my problem that other dentists couldn't.

Fantastic experience: We had my daughter’s ties corrected here and I honestly can’t recommend Dr Chan enough. He is incredibly knowledgeable and absolutely wonderful with babies, which put us at ease straight away. The rest of the staff were also so kind and caring, making the whole experience as smooth as possible. What really stood out was that it wasn’t just about the procedure – we weren’t treated like a number or a money grab. Dr Chan genuinely cared for my daughter, checking in on how she was doing the next day and taking the time at the follow-up appointment to make sure everything was going well. That level of care and compassion is rare and so appreciated. We not only received excellent treatment but also felt truly looked after. I highly, highly recommend Dr Chan and his team.

Fantastic experience: My 6mo daughter underwent a quadruple frenectomy with dr chan and his team. We could not have hoped for a better outcome and kinder team. My little daughter came out of the procedure calm and even smiling, and fed straight away. She is healing well and does not seem to have been in much pain post-procedure. Her sleep and feeding have both improved tremendously. Thank you dr chan and team for your expertise and kind care of both baby and two worried parents.

Fantastic experience: My 2.5 month old baby had his tongue, lip, and cheek tie procedure completed by Dr Chan. The procedure was quick and smooth. He gave my baby and I some acupuncture before the procedure, he asked us to come in once a week for two weeks to review the healing process (this provides peace of mind), and my baby has been doing really well. The reception staff is also always lovely ❤️

Negative experience: I can’t recommend Dr Louis Chan. I had him release tongue and lip ties in my children back in 2021. I’m not sure I will ever forgive myself for letting the team here do this procedure for my children. It cost a good amount of money and the whole procedure was barbaric. The assistant gave me a funny look when I insisted on being present for the procedures as often they lock parents out of the room whilst babies are being brutalised screaming in the rooms by themselves surrounded by strangers holding them deprived of all their senses and comfort. I was lied to and told it does not hurt. It was horrific and I’ve felt significant guilt for putting them through this procedure here. I have children who no longer sleep through the night years later due to the 3 hourly stretches for their gaping wounds to prevent them reattaching, they have oral aversions, trust issues with all dentist they now see and it never helped! Not even slightly. Speech, eating, nursing, dental gaps, nothing improved. I left with two traumatised kids, a hole in my wallet and two traumatised parents. I’m no stranger to medical procedures but this was horrific. An assistant of his placed her weight across my thrashing petrified toddler even though she was already restrained, unable to see and unable to hear due to the sound of the laser machine. Had I not been in a state of total shock I’d of scooped up my children and ran out of that place. Every time the laser was engaged they thrashed and it was clear it caused significant pain. I have never seen my children in a state like that before and still haven’t 3 years later. This was nothing new to the brutality they are familiar with there as his primary concern was to snatch a video of both inconsolable babies reversals before handing them to their mother to comfort them. Despicable.

Fantastic experience: I came to My Dental care to see Louis a little over 2 years ago now, I originally came to see Louis for Invisalign treatment after I was brushed away from big dental practices saying I couldn’t have Invisalign and needed braces only to fix my issues. Louis without any hesitation said he could fix my teeth, I now have tremendous confidence in myself and not only did he straighten my teeth & expand my jaw, He also was able to point out a deviation in my nose from scans and other internal issues that were going on. I was completely oblivious to this issue and went my entire life with symptoms of being fatigued unrefreshed and headaches from intense weights sessions. I have now completed my nose surgery and Invisalign treatment, my facial structure is originally back to what I was biologically meant to look and function for optimal health. I can whole heartedly say that Louis and the team at my dental care have changed my life and gave me confidence in myself and best possible chance for a better & healthier life. Thank you Louis & my dental care for the amazing service.

If you are a person who hates going to the dentist or is afraid then you need to be in the care of Dr. Yudith Kartiko. I have received the best of care without being pressured into decisions and I have walked away happy without pain and the confidence to continue treatment. Try Dr. Yudith you will be pleased you did!

Fantastic experience: My first time trying this dentist and it's my favourite. The receptionist is very friendly. Dr Yudith Kartiko was very knowledgeable, gentle with my teeth and very friendly! My teeth feel so clean and less painful from swollen gums.

Fantastic experience: Visited the team at MyDental Care as a result of ongoing and persistent insomnia. Dr Willie Mok started by talking through my sleeping patterns, eating and exercise, providing some guidance and changes to my routine to help with my sleep. We did some acupuncture as well as some scans on my jaw and face, discovering that I have some blockages which we are now treating. The entire team at MyDental care focus entirely on the patient and I am grateful to having spent some time with these professionals. I highly recommend a visit here.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her first extraction at My Dental Care Meadowbank today. She was absolutely terrified but Dr Mok and his super lovely assistant put her at such ease and were so kind and gentle with her that she barely felt anything and even came out smiling. I couldn't have been happier with their service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Louis Chan and his team were absolutely exceptional and a pleasure to deal with. We visited with our 4m old for suspected oral ties, and they diagnosed and treated her with the utmost care pre, during and post procedure. We couldn't be happier with the outcome, and our daughter is a changed baby for the better! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Negative experience: Louis Chan treated my 10 yr old son for 3 years and we spent over $20,000. At age 13 we were not happy with the results. He developed a lisp which we were told by Louis that it has nothing to do with his dental work. We did not realise the problem until we went for a second orthodontic opinion. He was left with gaps, rotated teeth and a small fake tooth placed onto a baby tooth with retainers in the middle front bottom tooth. . The new orthodontist asked for the fake tooth with retainer to be removed, placed braces and adjusted monthly. As soon as the fake tooth was removed, the lisp disappeared immediately. We spent $8,000 but the result was excellent. Do not waste your time and money with Louis, he keeps saying more treatment is needed and does unnecessary new experimental and expensive complex tests for financial gain, his supercars justify that. We wasted $20,000 dollars for a very bad result for our son's teeth and a lisp that was very detrimental to his self confidence.

Positive experience: Five stars to Dr.Chan he’s really kind and professional. He has a very holistic approach that doesn’t really exist with most of other dentists. But unfortunately I had one of the worst experience with other staffs in the team. Especially dental hygienist she’s way too IMPATIENT and SO NEGATIVE . I’m surprised she can even work with Dr.Chan.

Fantastic experience: I'm speechless at how amazing this place is. The whole team is so on point and work so well together, I noticed that every single person was taken care of and offered a drink, this is customer service to another level! Dr Chan is second to none, his knowledge is paramount and he is so helpful and considerate, defiantly explains the amount of awards and certificates he has. My son had his tongue and lip tie surgery done on Tuesday and it went perfectly but unfortunately due to my own mistake of not stretching properly the tongue reattached slightly. This broke my heart but I went back today and I'm very happy I did as I'm so mentally and physically drained it hurts but the team really showed me support that no where else has ever given me and my son before, they sat with me and showed me how to do everything properly and made sure I was comfortable in doing it before i left, even with me crying constantly they still were so patient. They truly care about people here! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Chan and his team to anyone I cross paths with. My son is only 3 months old but whilst waiting in the waiting area I noticed a kids room, it even had an xbox in there from memory. I mean come on, brilliant! I don't think I could ever thank them enough, please make your next trip to the dentist to my "dental care", you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I switched to My Dental Care recently. I like that they take the time to discuss what's happening. I don't feel rushed like I did with my previous dentist. They're on-time and check in afterwards to make sure everything is ok. Their setup is great, with the latest technology and techniques. The 3D scanning machine was incredible. Positive experience: The initial consultation is $150 and a full x-ray is $350. If you're going in remember you're paying half a grand for no actual dental work yet.

Positive experience: Dr Chan and his team are a wonderful and understanding group of professionals. I went there for TMJ treatment and while it really didn't work for me by solving my main issues and though I still sit on the fence about this type of treatment i think its worth a shot as a last resort if you have tried everything else. My 3 star rating is based on how informative the group were, value for money, and effectiveness of my treatment. Like i said, my dental are a nice group of caring professionals but research should be done before spending $1000's of you hard earned, medical institutions are a business after all so you need to get value for money at the end of the day just like any other service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Louis Chan is a magician! I just had a wisdom tooth taken out and the entire process was handled with great care and professionalism. I’m easily stressed over dental procedure because of bad experiences elsewhere a long time ago, so I faced this with great trepidation. But it was so gently done and painless that I didn’t know it was over until Dr Chan told me. He had that calm gentle manner that was so reassuring throughout the procedure. The surgery is well kitted with the latest equipments and the reception waiting area has a pleasing ambiance. The entire team was super friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend My Dental Care highly enough. Definitely 5 out of 5.

Fantastic experience: I came here as I was recommended by a friend to get my sleep apnea treated by Dr Louis Chan. I had previously seen a doctor who referred me to a sleep apnea specialist, who then prescribed me onto a CPAP machine. Dr Louis Chan provided me with a treatment approach that every doctor should take when treating sleep apnea. His team was very comprehensive in the examination as to the cause and provided me with a treatment plan which included using a splint and eating healthy (no more CPAP machine whilst travelling overseas!). It has been more than 8 months now and I have never felt better. The knowledge that he has empowered me with has helped me to pursue a healthier lifestyle and I feel I understand my body better now. Thank you to Dr Louis Chan and his team (thank you Janet) for giving me such good tips and advice.

Fantastic experience: My Dental care is by far the best dental practice I've been to. The staff at My Dental care and Dr. Louis Chan are extremely kind, caring and talented. I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist. I highly recommend this practice!!!

Negative experience: Went in to get a filling done. Usually takes 45min. Took an hour and half and the the dentist didn’t finish the work as other patients were waiting. Had to pay put of pocket $350 and she said to come tomorrow and the rest of the work would be done. The 2nd dentist charged me for his remaining work when the initial work I paid for Was not completed. Overall to get a filling done which usually is under $100 out of pocket was more than $400 and took a lot of time.

Fantastic experience: Our family's go-to dental clinic. Nice and clean environment, friendly/skilled/professional staff, cutting-edge technology, equipment and approach. Highly recommended for general dental needs and orthodontics. Personally I haven't been to many dental clinics, however, MyDental Care is definitely the best (service quality). Won't comment on price as most of our treatment is covered by corporate provided health insurance with a bit of out-of-pocket. My daughters have done MyObrace, and now doing orthodontics. I myself is going thru orthodontics treatment. All family members have done 3D X-Ray (cool, do it if you have remaining health insurance benefits), cleaning/scaling, most detailed service I've ever had. BTW: Make sure if your Private Health Insurances has a lifetime orthodontics limit before you go. Most corporate covers don't, e.g. GU Health (best - 2k/y), Bupa.

Fantastic experience: I chose Louis to be my dentist, even as a dentist myself. I trust Louis in his recommendations, as he has spent countless hours studying enriching his knowledge on how to best serve his patients who experience pain and can not be treated with traditional medicine. Louis is passionate about helping his patients and it shows in his attitude and his work. I even send my own patients to Louis when the needs arise. His team is also very knowledgeable - Janet, Faleya, Shireen, and Dr Jacob are all world class. I can not be more thankful to be their patient.

Fantastic experience: My son was 4 when he visited Dr. Chan at Meadowbank who was extremely patient with children. As you can imagine how small children will react when they need fillings on several tooth and how difficult it was to get them lie down with their mouth open. MyDental Care is absolutely great in their service from the moment you walk in to the reception. I especially like the children's entertainment playroom with video games, Kids movies and Toys. The clinic is very hygiene and Dr. Chan is very professional with his work. Me and my wife are both now visiting MyDental Care and will be our choice for regular check up.

Fantastic experience: MyDental Care in Meadowbank is where my family attend for our varying dental needs. They provide excellent and professional dental care services - very up to date dental techniques and researched information; very thorough, patient and wonderfully GENTLE when performing dental work. Their premises is easily accessible - via public transport (Eg- Meadowbank train station or ferry wharf is within walking distance) or driving with easy and free parking in nearby shopping centre. The actual dental surgery is very clean, comfortable and inviting. As an added bonus, my children love visiting the dentist since the dentist has game consoles and iPads available for them to play with! My daughter required orthodontic work. We were very pleased with the treatment options made available and the successful outcomes!!
