Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this business highly enough. My first appointment was handled with such courtesy, care and professionalism, and all of the staff are happy, friendly and welcoming. Dr Kwon made my tooth extraction (second appointment on the same day) as easy and stress-free as it could have been. I am truly amazed at how exceptional this business is, and if you're looking for dental services, you will not find a better place, nor nicer staff than this.

The friendly receptionists immediately put me at ease, which was a huge relief since it had been a long time since my last dental appointment. Dr Joon was an absolute calming factor—he clearly sensed my nervousness. He was incredibly gentle and explained everything very clearly, as was his dental assistant. I truly don't know why I put this off for so long! I wish I had discovered Akoya sooner. The whole practice has such a great, friendly vibe. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: As the most frighten older patient I've been to many dentist in the UK and Australia. My dentist Dr Joon and his staff (Ashleigh, Coby, Jas and Anna) are wonderful and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure we are okay during the procedures. They treat me and their patients with their whole heart and we are just not another figure that walks through the door. Fantastic experience: I'm a long time customer at Akoya Dentistry. In my mis-spent youth, my teeth suffered considerate neglect. Other dentists gave me a grim diagnosis. But Dr. Joon has worked wonders to rescue my teeth, and Anna is the best (i.e diligent, thorough and pain free) hygienist I've come across in at least 40 dental visits, over the last 15 years.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kwon and his team are wonderful! I am a new patient. I have been to this Dental clinic twice now, and both times I have been greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile by the girls at the front desk. Dr. Kwon is lovely and is very reassuring during treatment. Like most people, I suffer from a bit of Anxiety when it comes to visiting the Dentist, but I can't fault the treatment I have received.

Fantastic experience: Dentist joon is just so gentle and calming. I have debilitating anxiety over dentists and I was ashamed at how long it had been since my last visit. I had left it so long I knew I needed to go as I was having some trouble. I was emotional and extremely anxious but joon and his amazing team kept me reassured and calm. I still have more treatments to go but I’m already feeling much more at ease with him.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 visits to Dr Joon in the past week, both emergency appointments. I don't usually post reviews but the reason I found Akoya Dentist was through these reviews. I'm 41 Female & I have very severe Dental phobia which is debilitating. However I broke a front tooth and needed to have it looked at, the news wasn't the outcome I'd hoped for and there I sat sobbing for a good 15 minutes! Dr Joon and His Absolutely amazing Dental nurse were so patient with me and helped me through the very daunting process. He temporarily made a "tooth" so I could feel comfortable with my appearance while I decided on what my options would be in the next week or so. He did a brilliant job. Today I had to visit again as id had a back tooth fixed by another dentist before christmas but last night it became so painful I had to visit again, they squeezed me in just before they closed. Unfortunately I did have to have that tooth Extracted, All my questions and worries were answered and plans in place for my remaining teeth. Although I was petrified, Dr Joon and his Dental Nurse were amazing through the extraction process. I'm hoping someone can benefit from my review & if you have severe or any anxiety in regards to dentists then please give Akoya Dentist a try. 10/10 work, service, communication. Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist, and I’m ashamed to admit how long it had been since I last went! From the minute I walked in the door, the 2 receptionists immediately made me feel at ease, they were so warm and lovely. Dr. Joon and his dental assistant were compassionate and kind, reassuring me the entire time. They talked me through everything, I needed an extraction and I did not feel a thing. I didn’t even feel the needle go in, absolutely no pain or discomfort whatsoever. I was blown away at the whole process and even my healing I had next to no pain! Dr. Joon continuously checked in with me, placing his hand on my shoulder asking if I was okay and if I needed a break. He was so gentle, and made me feel so comfortable. I have now overcome my fear of the dentist, and I’m actually looking forward to going back! This is your sign to just be brave and make that appointment. Thanks so much to the Akoya Team for looking after me, I am so grateful!

Fantastic experience: Ahh these guys are amazing! I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and it’s embarrassing to admit. I have felt so much anxiety and stress towards it, to the point I cried when I walked into the building. But I knew I had to get my teeth sorted. The front desk ladies were so kind. And then I had the wonderful Anna. Man I’d give her 11 out of 10 stars. She made me feel almost instantly calm. She was funny, made me laugh when I wanted to cry. She was so calming and talked me through everything. She was so lovely when she knew of an embarrassing issue I had about myself she didn’t judge If anything just so super supportive. Then I had Dr Joon he was a gentle giant. When he could tell I felt anxious he calmly but firmly would place his hand on my shoulder which pushed away my stress and anxiety If that makes sense. He was so comforting. This place is great if you suffer with anything that may be embarrassing or even if you just have so much anxiety. I am so glad I had you guys to look after me. I will now no longer be afraid of coming to the dentist. Thankyou guys from the bottom of my heart

Fantastic experience: Props to all the staff; receptionists are lovely, DR Joon of course is amazing, but also the Hygienist Anna is also a total professional and very passionate about your gum health. Just a top notch clinic, they won't lie to you either, making you aware of any potential risk, but i feel very safe in the hands of this dentistry which is in stark contrast to other practices. Have had several appointments now and from hating the dentist to "almost" looking forward to them is a blessing, Thankyou Akoya Team cya soon

Fantastic experience: As someone who Had a very real dental phobia due to past traumatic and quite frankly horrific past experiences; walking through the door was a challenge, which took 5 tries. The ladies at the front desk were so kind, approachable and understood my fears. Dr Joon is SO lovely, promised and KEPT his promise that he will use Enough Local Anesthetic so I wouldn't feel a thing. I actually Did Not feel a thing! I took my Noise Canceling headphones as the noise of the equipment is triggering, which meant I breezed through the procedure and I'm returning to get the rest done. My whole family go now, sometimes back to back. Oh and Denticare is an Added Bonus as there is no worry re: the cost, regular payments come out that are affordable to get the big items done. Could not recommend the team at Akoya enough

I've had reasonably extensive work over the last few years and have always been treated with respect and compassion. This team is second to none in my opinion. You will always be cared for here. Fantastic experience: BEST. DENTIST. EVER. Cannot find fault in the reception, the dental plan, the medical staff onsite, or the care and treatment of my poor old teeth. Gentle hands, kind attitudes, caring people made this almost dentist phobe very secure. Reckon this is the place to bring your kids, too. And your family who hate going. There's even a water feature inside which is reminiscent of the Melbourne, Victoria museum front entrance. I do not know these people personally and, until today, had not met them. And, at time or writing, for first time am willing to stake my reviewer reputation on this business. They're not even hideously expensive as dentists go. They have recently opened up bookings for school holidays and business people and will go out of their way to make your appointment happen. HIGHLY recommended.

From the warm and kind reception(sorry I dont remember your name either...) to fantastically non painful, but minimum irritation(usually huge...)and amazingly nicely cleaned scaling and filling, I am so happy to refer anyone to check it out here!! Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist was fast, thorough and efficient. They have the right equipment. She instructed when and how I needed to open my mouth, and respected I didn't want flouride. This was the most refreshing and relaxing dental clean I've ever had, and am looking forward to my my next visit!

I also had a wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Joon. Fantastic experience: Never thought I’d be happy to go to the dentist, but the team here are so friendly and professional that it’s hard not to feel like you’re being completely looked after as soon as you walk in. I always feel like everyone at Prosmile has my best interests in mind when I visit. I was nervous about going at first, but their work is so clean, professional, and has just the right touch of personal service, that I booked my next appointment immediately after my first. Donna is especially friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. I’ve since had several appointments there now, and I’m not going anywhere else for dental work again.

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a great experience. I hadn’t been to the dentist in awhile and was really worried about going. Donna and the team at ProSmile were really understanding and got me in quickly and gave me information on how to care for my teeth as well as fixing up all my issues and booking me in for six monthly cleans. They gave me quotes before they carried out the work, which eased my worries about paying at the end of the appointment. ProSmile are a really friendly, non judgement and professional dental clinic.
