Positive experience: Dr. Jessie was amazing to me and my 2yo. It’s my first dental appointment in Australia but that was so good and comfortable. My 2yo is still too young to have a check and Dr. Jessie was very patient with him. However, I’m a bit disappointed about my appointment being scheduled to a different time. I made a booking at 9:40am, received a call a day before asking if I can make it 9:20am. I said I will try my best to come earlier but probably won’t make it 9:20am (iykyk the chaos dealing with a toddler in the morning). The lady simply said “but it’s just 20 minutes earlier” and ended the call. The next day I call ahead confirming I’ll be with at 9:40am and the other receptionist just said our appointment has been moved to 9:20am and that’s nothing she could do if we’re late. The problem is I never got a confirmation regarding the booking being changed and thought we still have the 9:40am booking. It’s a very minor issue at the end of the day but I felt they can handle it in a better way.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr Surbhi, assistant Jess and receptionist Emma. They all made me feel very welcome and comfortable, and it was overall a very efficient and seamless process. Today was my routine 6-month teeth cleaning session and I was in and out of the door in 30 minutes! I would highly recommend Dr Surbhi and her team.

Positive experience: The dentist was very friendly and lovely to talk to. They provided everything we needed. We went in for just a clean, nothing more, and it took about 15 minutes. My only issue is that it was very expensive, a 15 minute clean was over $240 each.

Negative experience: Dentist was not conscious of my anxieties and was also very rough and cause significant pain when cleaning compared to my previous and past dentists. Also, I’ve been asking for 5 years for my details to be removed from their reminders however I am still receiving emails and SMS messages to remind me I’m due.

Negative experience: Told me my kids would get gap free cleaning and gave them x rays that they did not need ! Never going back . Charged them $900 !

Negative experience: After my temporary filling I had to go back twice to get it fixed. The second time it had gone soft and 3/4 of it had come out and more tooth chipped away. I had to explain it 3 times while she kept telling me I was wrong before she looked closely enough to find the chipped tooth and said it was in fact chipped away further. When I went back the first thing she said was you said it was chipping away but it wasn't. I got home and felt a hole in the back of the filling and the day after it felt soft and this one too is starting to lose its shape and fall away like Toothpaste. I can't be bothered going in to argue more and be called a liar. She was incredibly rude to her assistant in front of me the entire time. I was told to come in at 5, at 5:30 was told she's running 20 minutes late and didn't get in until 5:50. This is after having my appointment pushed back a week because she couldn't make it at the last minute. She was very rude to me every time but my first visit. I've had to go in 4 times for 2 fillings and should go in again to get this one fixed but I know I'll just be called a liar again. I was incredibly stressed and anxious going in again. No customer should have to feel this way.

Negative experience: The dentist does not seem experienced; the directions were unclear and she needed to check multiple times what to do. In the end, I'm needing to book another appointment with a different dentist to review the work done at this location because I am concerned that mistakes were made. I recommend just sticking to the bare bones cleaning (if you must) but do not allow any additional work to be done at this location.

Negative experience: Avoid this dentistry. I went there recently as i had a chipped front tooth and needed the tooth repaired on a weekend. They charged me $295 for a pretty simple repair but botched it. I told the dentist i wasn't happy as the tooth was repaired at an angle leaving me with a lisp and a pretty sharp edge to my tooth. He said no that is how it is supposed to be despite never having seen my teeth before. Such contempt. I then booked another appointment to get their original work repaired. When i said i wouldn't be paying for the repair at my scheduled appointment, they simply ignored my request and never called me back. Very poor customer service. Expensive. Poor repair. Rude. I don't think you need any more reasons to avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: The girls at reception during the week Emma and Sophie are always smiling and welcoming. My denist has left but the new one is pretty good explains what you need to know in laymen terms. So happy there is one close to my home as I would have to travel into Sydney which is time consuming.

Negative experience: Do not go here!! Paid $260 for nothing. Had been having pain in my lower teeth and gums to the point where it was hurting to brush my teeth, and all I got told was to switch to a different toothpaste. Had xrays done and the dentist didn't even acknowledge what the results of these were. Just went ahead with cleaning and then see you later. Needed to visit a different dentist a week later who was amazing, went through my xrays, helped with the underlying issue of my pain and followed up with me. Will tell everyone to avoid this Pacific Smiles Dental!! An absolute joke.
