Fantastic experience: Dr Roseline and Lani was wonderful so so nice lady's, I had $250 voucher, I had a broken tooth removed I didn't feel a thing, I kept my eyes shut I couldn't believe I had to ask is it finished is already out dr even put one stitch in incase she didn't have too , I'm so happy

Fantastic experience: I have just finished a root canal and Crown with Dr Rosaline. This invoved 3 different appointments where I was able to adjudge how outstanding she is at her profession as a Dentist. Her personality and friendliness combine with a natural empathy for a 73 year old male can only be applauded, along with her extremely high professionalism as a Dentist. The reception and nursing staff were also of the highest quality and I will have no hesitation in recommending Maven Dental as I have already booked my appointments with follow ups with Dr Rosaline. Special mention to Nurse Lina who has a real personality in a role that can never be underestimated from a Dental Chair!

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Dr Rosaline and her team at Maven Dental over the last few months to have some neglected work done and I can honestly say that I really look forward to my appointments. Great work, very caring and always up for a little giggle too. I feel in very competent and safe hands!

Negative experience: My partner endured the worst ordeal at Maven Dental in Lutwyche by two dentists. Overlooking a cracked tooth and misdiagnosing it as "tooth sensitivity" led to months of intermittent pain when it could have been address prior, by a qualified individual as opposed to being palmed off to a hygenist. The dentist's failure to recommend necessary scans earlier in the process intensified the pain as the crack could have been noticed and the pain addressed prior. When the tooth was finally looked into, further scans to finally diagnose the real problem were recommended. The dentist provided a 10% discount at this visit, because they were fully aware their negligence from the prior visit resulted in his pain. Whilst they deflected any blame when confronted, why would they offer a discount if they believed they did nothing wrong? The lack of proper pain relief and antibiotics during subsequent visits prolonged the suffering, with a dentist advising they couldn't give antibiotics for a tooth infection - this has been disproven by a second opinion which prescribed him antibiotics immediately. Unfortunately, their continued negligence prolonged the pain, and the tooth is now being removed—a situation that could have been addressed over a year ago or even almost a month ago. Just such a poor effort. It's beyond disheartening that the incompetence of the dentists caused unnecessary pain and real suffering, if they had just looked into the pain properly upon the initial visit then all of this could have been avoided. If they had prescribed proper pain relievers 3 weeks ago it wouldn't have been this painful, and if they had given antibiotics at the same time he wouldn't have had to suffer like he has. I would strongly advise against choosing this dentist and recommend considering alternative options, especially given similar negative reviews.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely exceptional service. Had a falling fall out and needed it done asap so I called Maven Dental and Ellie answered and found the time to book me in the following day. Upon arrival I was greeted with a welcoming smile which made me feel at ease. I was then taken into the room and they reassured me every step of the way everything is fine and to tell them if it’s too painful as I’m one of those many people who is a little fearful of the dentist but I was always reassured and everything was fine. I was in and out very quickly and everyone there was so lovely. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again !

Fantastic experience: My kids and I had check-up and cleans recently with Brad and Dr Rabia. Both clinicians were fantastic, informative, and professional. We booked a follow-up appointment which we unfortunately later had to cancel. Since then, the team at Maven Dental Lutwyche have followed up with me and prompted me to rebook for our treatment which I really appreciate! Without this, I wouldn't have gotten around to rebooking anytime soon. All of my interactions with the practice have been fantastic, from the reception team to the dental nurses and clinicians. But I want to give a special shout out to the receptionist who called to book us back in recently. She was incredibly kind and professional!

Fantastic experience: DR George Saad and the team where great I had to change appointments a few times but was not an issue. Dr George gave great initial advice and set a plan and available options moving forward.

Negative experience: NOT happy...called for just a clean (usually $100 approx) . Was informed back that I would be getting an "initial appointment " which includes inspection etc etc. I responded I only requested a clean. Politly declined engaging due to defective listening skills.. they ALL try that one on. it has to stop.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience. Dr Sumaya Allami was the dentist providing the service and she was excellent, very gentle and communicated very clearly. A dentist I will surely come back to!

Positive experience: My partner went here and the service was mediocre at best. He had booked in for the 199 dollar deal and was charged over 250 dollars because of the hidden charges. He had a scale and polish done which he said was uncomfortable. The printer wasn't working to get his receipt, when they did give him a receipt it stated he owed money which was wrong! The uv glasses he was given were stuck together with duck tape. People were nice but probably wouldn't return

Negative experience: The dentist I saw, George, was rough and brutal. He was running behind and he seemed to have taken it out on my gums and teeth. He used the drill to attack my gums so badly that they were bleeding badly. A week later I am still in pain. Won't be going back.

Negative experience: My family have been seeing Dr Darryl McGrath for many years at this practice, as a BUPA recommended dentist. Unfortunately, since he left, my mother was handed over to Dr Rabia Latif. My mother presented to the clinic with severe tooth pain in her right upper molar and Dr Rabia said it was gum disease and advised her to use sensitive toothpaste. Rather than fix the issue or investigate with an xray (which would have showed that it needed a root canal), Dr Rabia's advice was to fix a tooth on her LEFT side with a crown immediately (for $1600). Dr Rabia ignored the intense pain and insisted on the crown. So my mother had to pay $500 out of pocket after claiming her full years dental entitlement through her health fund, she got a crown she didn't need, and still had the same pain in her right upper molar. She couldn't sleep for weeks because of the pain. She contacted BUPA to find an alternative dentist, Dr Andrew Molloy at Garden City, who immediately diagnosed the issue (root canal), and fixed it immediately for $1500 (unfortunately, my mother had to pay for the full amount), so she spent in total $2000 out of pocket to get something simple done now, or wait with the pain until 2021 to claim $1000 through the health fund. She was so upset from her visit to Dr Rabia and wanted to let BUPA and others know, to not visit this clinic. The standards have dropped since good dentists have left the practice.

Fantastic experience: I just got my one of the wisdom teeth out today and it just took 10 minutes for all the process. All the staff's were so friendly as well as the price so cheaper compared to other dental places. I would highly recommend this.

Fantastic experience: After a 10 yr plus hiatus from the Dentist i finally plucked up the courage and after googling and checking providers through my health fund decided to book here with dr McCarthy... lovely clean facilities, friendly welcome by the receptionist was a nice first impression.. Dr McCarthy and his assistant Kim were not only professional but very friendly and knowing my apprehension made me feel at ease. Dr explained everything he was doing and going to do along the way .. an enjoyable first experience and can highly recommend

Negative experience: Went last year because it is on the Bupa list and very easy as it is in the shopping centre but I won't go there again. I had a tooth pain and the whole appointment, including a clean, took 3 minutes and the dentist charged me/Bupa +$200. It was a complete rip-off.
