Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Ryan for a short while and he is a fantastic dentist. Incredibly knowledgeable and loves what he does and it shows, Ryan is the first dentist who actually understood and did the research that red heads require more anaesthetic and I didn’t have to sit in pain and ask for more like I have at other clinics in the past. The clinic has reasonable pricing and I’m able to get in when I need to.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Avoca Beach Dental and Dr Ned Restom and his team at Smile on Clinics highly enough. After dealing with poor dental health for over 5 years, I decided to get full implants both top and bottom, before gum disease would leave me with no options than full dentures. I had partials dentures and my remaining teeth starting to become loose. In February 2025 I had my first consult and by April I had a complete new and functional set of teeth. Dr Ned and his team had an extra challenge of dealing with a fully infected sinus cavity and minimal bone structure to deal with, but managed to fit me with a beautiful set of teeth that have allowed me to get my life back to what it was nearly 10 years ago. My surgery, although a lot more serious than what was expected due to my severe infection, was completed without any complications. My recovery was as good as I could possibly hope for with no pain at all and minimal time off work. All the staff at the clinic are so lovely and I was made to feel completely comfortable from the first time I set foot in the door, despite the embarrassment I felt for the state that I had let my mouth get to. All my questions were answered in the lead up to my surgery, even outside of business hours when I wasn’t expecting a reply until the next day. I personally think you couldn’t find a better dental surgeon and team to help transform your life for the better, as they have mine!

Negative experience: I would not recommend. I went there to get my tooth looked at and got offered this great deal for a clean an consult and got charged $199 which is a fix priced for xrays which i did not need and they were so busy and for what I paid for is not what is expected and was a really poor experience.

Negative experience: I saw Dr Caitlin in August for a consult to discuss my options on a problematic front tooth that I would likely need an implant to replace it. When I booked my consultation I was told by the receptionist there was no charge for this visit for her to look at my teeth and meet with me. I was recommended by a family member to try here. Upon leaving she assured me she’d email me a quote with costings by that evening. I received nothing so I followed it up in the coming days and to this day I have still not received any pricing for an implant. That was disappointing. To top it off upon leaving Dr Caitlin requested she’d like to swipe my HCF health fund card for my consultation with her. So there was a charge to my health fund for this visit. Upon reflection I feel this totally inappropriate given that I was told it was complimentary (free). This request was unprofessional and I walked away not feeling great. I won’t be returning or recommending this dental practise. Due to her swiping my HCF card at my next dental visit with my regular dentist I was charged a gap fee as for my 6 month checkup as I had reached my capacity for such visits. I am not impressed.

He has an exceptional ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease, combining a warm and approachable manner with a calm confidence that reflects his extensive experience. Ned’s supportive and personable nature creates a positive and reassuring environment, which is especially valuable for anyone who may feel anxious about dental visits. He takes the time to explain each step of the process clearly and ensures that his patients feel fully informed and comfortable throughout their treatment. The staff who work alongside Ned are equally exceptional — friendly, attentive, and highly professional. His personal assistant, goes above and beyond, always available to answer any questions or assist with even the smallest details. This level of support reflects the high standards Ned sets for his entire team and the genuine care they all have for their patients. It is clear that Ned is deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of care. It’s rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also sincerely passionate about the well-being of their patients. Ned is undoubtedly one of the best in his field, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking exceptional dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rosie and the entire Avoca Beach Dental team deserve a huge shoutout and I can’t thank them enough! I suffer from extreme anxiety due to a previous traumatic experience. This meant I held off on going for years. Despite my apprehension, I took a leap of faith and booked an appointment with Dr. Rosie. Since then, there's been no turning back. I never imagined overcoming my fear of the dentist, but Dr. Rosie's kindness, empathy, and exceptional skill in what she does have transformed my negative outlook to a bright and positive one. I am immensely grateful to Dr. Rosie and her team for not only alleviating my discomfort but also for guiding me towards maintaining a healthy smile with a personalised treatment plan. It took a year of convincing my partner who suffered with constant infections and bad teeth to make the decision to get teeth on implants because let’s face it nobody likes going to the dentist. Throughout this journey Saratoga and Avoca Beach Dental have been accommodating with appointments due to my partners work schedule, and go above and beyond for their clients satisfaction, my partners smile is absolutely beautiful and has changed his life!! Negative experience: Terribly Overpriced! Made a booking under emergency circumstances but found out an Xray would cost $250, and the tooth removal itself would be $750. All up $1000. Preferred to wait an extra day for a booking at Pacific Smiles where an Xray cost $35 plus the tooth removal amounted to $500. Would give the place half a star if I could.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience start to finish, I went to Dr Rosie for my smile makeover and could not be happier! I went for a consultation with Dr rosie and she layed out my plan so I knew what to expect from the start. I was a bit anxious, but she put me at ease by explaining the process and checking if i was okay and happy along the way. We replaced all my black fillings to white, which I have hated for years. We completed an invisalign course to straighten my teeth and fixed a few chips, completed with a scale and polish and whitening and I am over the moon.
