Fantastic experience: I just had a wisdom tooth removed and the staff were incredibly kind & professional. The procedure was over very quickly. Soon after the procedure I fainted when I woke up, the doctor/assistant were so kind and supportive and took awesome care of me. Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was visiting from Melbourne and developed a problem with toothache. I was fortunate enough to contact this clinic and within 24 hours I was sitting in the chair and attended to by Dr John and his assistant. The care I was provided from the moment I contacted them until my procedure was finalised was exceptional…even a follow-up phone call the next day to see how I was! If I lived up here this would become my regular dentist without hesitation. Brilliant and thank you to all. X

Fantastic experience: I was very afraid of the dentist and I had to have two molars extracted, being out of my country. My English is not good, Dr. Prashant and his team were very patient with me, to explain the whole procedure. Very kind and attentive all the time, which feels very good. Negative experience: I was attended by Dr. John Kim, and I had a terrible experience. I had fallen off a scooter two days ago and had three broken teeth. The dentist couldn't even identify which teeth were broken after touching them all and even taking an X-ray. He told me that the only option was to remove the teeth and get implants, that they couldn't be saved. Luckily, I didn't trust this dentist because I went to another one who saved and restored my teeth. Terrible service; in the end, they want to do what's easiest for them and most expensive for you. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Whilst on holiday on Hamilton Island, I broke a tooth. I called Smilemakers, who are on the Mainland and I was booked in for 2 days later. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and only waited 10 minutes before being seen. The dentist, Jacques, was fantastic. He made me feel at ease immediately and talked me through the whole process. I am very happy with the repair to my broken tooth and can recommend Smilemakers very highly.

Fantastic experience: Here on vacation from the US and had an issue with a tooth. Called and they were able to work me in the same afternoon. Dr Jack and his assistant Emenie were fantastic and they were able to resolve the issue with my tooth and I was on my way in an hour. Their friendliness and expertise was outstanding. I’d recommend these folks to anyone. Thanks very much for the assistance y’all were GREAT!!!

Fantastic experience: I needed to see a dentist at short notice and not only were Smile Makers accommodating but even rang me later when a cancelation happened to get me in earlier. Dental experience was one of the best I’ve had, and received a call the next day to check on me due to the nature of the work.

Fantastic experience: How ironic with their name “Smile Makers” Dr Fraser did an outstanding job on my crown with great attention to detail, completing my smile that I had been um-ing & arr-ing about for 15 years! (after rocking a hideous temporary cap ) I am SO unbelievably happy, I wouldn’t go to any other dentist. Dr Fraser & the team are always accommodating with professional, friendly service. Fantastic experience: Amazing gentle professional service, im so scard of needles, went there today had a needle near to no pain a small sting over in a second. Tonight there is no pain any where not ever where the needle went in. From a swollen gum with pain to no pain no pain where the needle went in, feeling great, thank you Smile Makers once again, you have done an amazing job. A big thank you.

Negative experience: Dr Fraser is professional and really kind, however I don’t know if I should trust them again. We agreed to split the root canal treatment into 3 stages, so I could start the treatment with the most economic stage (1st one) and then save for the last 2 (most expensive ones), because my insurance doesn’t cover it. The first one was supposed to be 200 AUD. I came one day before the appointment, to check if the price was correct and they said between 200 and 300 AUD. I accepted it. The day of the treatment, after getting out and still under the effects of anesthesia, I proceed to pay at reception and suddenly it was 410 AUD. Maybe for some people it’s not much difference, but I think it’s Important comply with your words. Now I’m in the middle of the treatment with a aching tooth and unsure to go back or look for another dentist because that attitude make me not trust them. I felt manipulated when I was totally vulnerable.

Fantastic experience: Dr Prashant is the most professional dentist I've ever seen, especially great with gentle and pricise aenastetics and the best at making my excrations as painless as possible. The clinic is clean and comfortable, theres even a tv to watch above you during treatment to help take your mind off things. Most highly recommended in whitsunday and perhaps anywhere.

The surgery itself is super clean, the staff are really polite and are willing to go out of their way to help with anything you need. I see Dr Prashant, he explains everything well and has always done a good job where I walk away happy and confident.

Fantastic experience: A few days ago (weekend of course) I broke a piece of tooth (molar) and also lost some of the filling. I am travelling at the moment and a long way from home. I got in touch with Smilemakers on Monday morning and got an appointment the next day to see Dr Kulkarni- he was so nice, I felt very confident with him and he expertly removed my old amalgam filling and replaced it with a nice white one. The receptionist ( I think her name was Lauren) was also very professional and nice- as was the young lady who assisted Dr Kulkarni. I thoroughly recommend Smilemakers - thank you.

From the moment you enter his Clinic, you at once feel calm. From the decor, of each room, to the way you are greeted, to the way that you feel like the most important person they are treating.. as well as no endless waiting.
