Illumident Mount Gambier

Fantastic experience: Being from Northern NSW and requiring emergency dental work while holidaying in Mt Gambier, I was absolutely amazed and blown away at the professionalism and expertise with which Christine and her excellent assistant Monique went about their business. Wow!! Zero pain, great surroundings and everything explained precisely with no fuss, amazing! Also the girls at the front desk were unreal and very pleasant. Believe it or not, I now have no hesitation in travelling 2,000km plus, for future dental procedures. Thanks heaps Illumident !!! If I could give you six stars I'd have no hesitation whatsoever Oops, lastly also a thank you to Marceena on my way out. She was great

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Dr Michael more! As someone who gets anxious around fillings and having teeth extracted I have been pleased with the service at Illumident. Dr Michael takes the time to ensure I’m doing okay and that I am informed throughout any procedure. I am glad I have found a dentist that helps to ease any dental related anxiety with compassion and kindness.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Christine at Illumident has been absolutely wonderful. I have had many appointments and procedures with her as I have a long list of teeth and gum issues. Every step of the way she has organised a treatment program, carried out everything that has been organised with such care and precision. She has made me feel comfortable and always answers my questions in a way that I can understand. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge Dr Christines assistant Monique and the beautiful receptionists at Illumident. They all have a kind, professional and organised manner that makes me feel very safe and welcomed each and every appointment.

Fantastic experience: I can’t fault the team at Illumident. I recently switched dental clinics and am so impressed with how professional, thorough and kind the whole clinic is. Dr Christine Tran has empathy, is compassionate, and is non-judgmental. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. The clinic is clean and welcoming. It’s very calming if you’re an anxious person. I would highly recommend giving Illumident a try - and it’s an added plus they offer payment options for any unexpected treatments.

Fantastic experience: Illumident offers a new type of dental experience. Relaxed, pain free and considerate. I went here for an extraction (advised to do by a dentist elsewhere that I didnt want to return to). Dr Donna's holistic view and thorough checks identified the tooth was actually healthy and a non-dental issue was the cause of referred pain. I was most concerned about the cost of what is a high-end service, but Dr Donna was careful with my out of pocket costs, arranging for bulk billed scans. My concerns were not founded. Very glad I went to Illumident. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Beautiful practice, lovely staff, however extremely expensive and not affordable to continue regular care. Great in an emergency… but be prepared to pay a fortune. My regular dentist is half the price for the same treatment.

Fantastic experience: I like many have always had a fear of Dentists, as I walked in I immediately felt comfortable and surprisingly relaxed the lovely ladies at the front desk were friendly and very professional. I saw Dr JC who needed to do a tooth extraction and again I was nervous, he talked me through the procedure and I hardly felt anything other than some pressure, 24+ hrs and I have felt no pain no need for panadol, I can't believe I am saying this but I left making another appointment. Thankyou so much to everyone I think my fear is conquered.

Fantastic experience: I must start by saying that I was so scared of going to the dentist. Always felt anxious and sick before every appointment .. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave these professionals make you feel comfortable, and feel special that they have taken the time to listen to any concerns that you have and apply the most caring treatment you could ask for ... They really are amazing .

Fantastic experience: Dr Holmes and her team are the best in town. Whenever I attend an appointment I find the staff are always friendly and helpful and their attention to detail is second to none. Dr Holmes manages my dentist phobia with care and consideration of my needs. I unreservedly recommend Dr Holmes and Illumident for any dental work.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Illumident highly enough. Dr Holmes is very caring and compassionate striving for the best results with open and honest communication. The reception staff are extremely polite, helpful and welcoming! The new premises are very aesthetically pleasing exuding a relaxing day spa ambiance rather than a dentist. It is a pleasure to visit the dentist at Illumident.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of parking. Professional and friendly counter staff. Great dentist (I have only ever visited Dr Hutton, so can only personally comment on him. (I have heard really good things about Dr Holmes but have never visited her myself). Dr Hutton always keeps me fully informed of the procedures needing to be performed and shows me my teeth problems on his PC screen. He always makes the effort to educate me on what the problem is and what caused it. Dr Hutton's nurse is friendly and professional. Their friendly banter is a joy to hear and see. Pain is minimal to nothing. I go there to get pain stopped and exactly that happens. Last, but definitely not least, the waiting times in the waiting room are minimal.

Fantastic experience: Well where do I start < I made a call and spoke to a very friendly, respectful lady Gemma at Reception. Gemma was very prompt, cheerful and accommodating, providing me with information that I was calling about. When I met her face to face she was very caring greeting me witha smile. Her customer service was happy and joyful to be in the presence of and gave me information in a timely manner. Gemma is so respectful and being embraced in her presence when I walk into a not so fun experience (having my teeth extracted, impressions and consults) her energies allow me to relax a little. Thank you Gemma I was then introduced to DR JC and assistant Chantelle who provided me with a very warm welcoming experience. DR JC discussed some options with dental work, including quotes for each option prior to doing any dental work, allowing me to make the final decisions after thorough information provided. Along with DR JC and his assistant Chantelle dental procedure began, explaining step by step process, checking in to see how I'm feeling ( very considerate and caring) and taking time not rushing being their at the needs of my well being. I have never met such caring, considerate human beings in the field of dentistry while visiting other clinics. They both demonstrated a nurturing, empathic respect to my dentistry situation, and non judgemental . It allows me now to embrace a positive experience and look forward to my next visit. Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth, I was devastated, I went to two different dentist, and they advised me to get an implant and that my tooth was unfixable, with an invoice I could not afford. I went to Isabel Holmes, she fixed my tooth straight away, I find that Isabel is true and honest in her work, with a calm nature. Thank you, Isabel, I was so thankful, that you could help me repairing my tooth with such perfection and care; I can smile again. The receptionist girls got me an appointment soon after I broke my tooth and gone out of their way to help me. Thank You!! I had my 4 year old daughter in with me the day Isabel fixed my tooth, she even found the time to entertain my daughter with kindness and patience.
