Fantastic experience: I am a foreigner studying temporarily at Perth. I had an infected root canal which was not salvageable. Dr Shanash had done a great job with gentle extraction & socket preservation. She saw me multiple times with a lot of reassurance & thorough explanations. So sad that I have to leave this country soon, if not I will be happy to have my dental care under her for long term!

Fantastic experience: Jocelyn is so wonderful and attentive. Our whole family sees her twice a year for routine cleaning and she’s very gentle and kind especially towards our young children. This has made their first experiences at the dentist so pleasant and we truly appreciate the love and care that she clearly has for her job :)

Dr Ann Maria was absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner was outstanding—she made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire procedure. She explained everything clearly, reassured me as she worked, and genuinely showed respect and compassion. What stood out most was her sincerity—she offered helpful tips without any pressure or sales tactics, which made me trust her even more. The dental nurse Tomoyi was equally impressive. She was gentle, attentive, and professional from start to finish, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Finally, Janette the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. She answered all my questions with patience and made sure I understood the costs before the treatment began, which I really appreciated. Despite being the last patient on a Saturday, the team showed no signs of rushing. Their dedication and warmth made me feel valued, and I left the clinic feeling genuinely cared for. The clinic itself was spotless, modern, and well-maintained. There’s plenty of parking onsite, which made the visit even more convenient. I’ll definitely be returning as a long-term patient and would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for exceptional dental care with a personal touch.

Negative experience: Please Read Before Visiting This Dental Clinic – A Cautionary Experience I’m writing this review for anyone who may be unaware or trusting — please be very cautious before choosing this dental office. I visited the clinic for a routine teeth scaling (cleaning). The first question I was asked was whether I had insurance. I answered yes, and immediately they began adding multiple procedures and services to my invoice — most of which I never requested. The total bill came to $449, of which I paid $27 out-of-pocket. That might have been fine if the service was properly done. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The dentist, Dr. Jasbir, was extremely rude and dismissive toward me. I also felt she treated me unfairly and with prejudice. She used a sharp tool to poke at my gums in a way that caused bleeding, and then told me my gums were unhealthy — using the bleeding (that she caused) as the reason for needing a "deep cleaning." When I said I only wanted regular scaling for now and would consider additional treatment later, she refused to proceed and said she couldn’t do the cleaning because it was "too deep." I’ve always had healthy, well-maintained teeth and go for cleanings every six months, so this made no sense. What upset me most is that she still charged the full amount even though she didn’t perform the cleaning. When I questioned why I was being billed, she didn’t give a clear answer. Instead, she whispered something to the receptionist, who then handed me a quote for future appointments totaling $1,193 — which wouldn’t even be fully covered by insurance. I told the receptionist I was unhappy, especially since the dentist only touched my teeth for 15 minutes and charged a significant amount. At that point, I realized this clinic might be running more of a money-making operation than providing real dental care. I genuinely felt scammed. To anyone reading this — please be careful and consider going elsewhere. This was a hard lesson for me, and I hope it helps protect someone else from having a similar experience. To consumer protection authorities: please help us hold businesses like this accountable.

The clinician was exceptionally skilled and attentive. They took the time to explain each step of the procedure clearly, checked in with me regularly to ensure I was comfortable, and even offered breaks if needed - an incredibly thoughtful touch that made the whole experience feel calm and reassuring. The level of care and thoroughness was outstanding. My teeth felt immaculately clean, and it was evident the clinician took pride in delivering top-quality treatment. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail truly made all the difference. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone seeking high-calibre dental care. The entire visit from start to finish was exceptional.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment which was cancelled last minute because the dentist was sick, and they couldn’t fit me in for another two weeks. So I made another appointment over a month later. I even got a confirmation email! Called on the day to double check, only to be told it had been cancelled again. They offered to squeeze me in later that day, right in peak hour traffic, but I’d already taken time off work for a midday appointment to avoid exactly that. So frustrating and a complete waste of time. Don’t come here if you want an appointment that actually goes ahead.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough how positive of an experience I had - I have sensory issues that make getting even a basic cleaning stressful. Christine and Jim were absolutely fantastic - they were very encouraging, kind and gentle, and didn't make me feel silly about my difficulty. Reception staff are always super kind and helpful! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, thoroughly recommend to anyone - especially those with sensory issues around dental work.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Luvena dentist and Anna hygienist for a while now and I feel very comfortable with them. Luvena is gentle and although I was an anxious patient, I feel at ease with her. My treatments have been good and she explains to me in a way I understand. Anna is thorough with her cleans and has made my gums healthy. I recommend to see them.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had major anxiety for years regarding dental work after a few horrible experiences in the past. My teeth were getting worse and worse. I was becoming quite ashamed of my once great smile. Dr. Michelle Huang and her assistant have made all the difference. The girls at reception are so lovely. The environment is very warm and welcome. I just sit back and close my eyes and let Michelle do her thing. I have complete trust in her work and feel very safe. Negative experience: This review is in relation to the sub-standard dental work I received from the Dentists. The clean & scale service I received from the Dental Hygienist (I think she's Russian) was always lovely. In my experience, it's the type of place where the Dentists look down at you with one eyebrow up and declare that you don't floss enough and use that to consistently recommend new fillings be done. I finally caught on to what was happening when yet again, I was told I needed fillings on the top right side of my mouth. I was shocked, I told the Dentist (another new one as they seem to rotate a bit whilst I was there) that only 12-18 months beforehand I had 2 fillings in that area. There was an awkward pause in the room and then she brushed it off and recommended I don't delay and book the appointment in soon. Something just didn't seem right. I acted on my hunch and moved to a different Dental practice. My new Dentist was SHOCKED by the quality of workmanship of the filling I had. He even took photos so I could see for myself. Wow - my mouth was a mess of hodge-podge white fillings everywhere. I had decay because the fillings they put in my mouth were completely sub-standard! I'm really concerned abut the lack of integrity of The Dentists in Subiaco. At no time did they mention that the new fillings they were recommending were in exactly the same spot as recent fillings they had performed. There are tonnes of Dentists in Subiaco, best to avoid this one in my opinion.

Negative experience: It's one of these places that makes you see a single hygienist rather than a dentist and an assistant. Never in 37 years have I been asked to hold my own suction hose in my mouth! Dentist appeared for 2 min and charged a $63 consultation fee. Hygienist was rough and impersonal. $300 for 30 min - best avoided. I wont be going back.

Positive experience: This practice was recommended to me as i had some special needs due a battle with cancer. I found their care outstanding and I am very grateful for the work they did and patience they showed.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a clean for my son who was an existing customer. He came out after no more than 5 mins, BUPA was charged $63 for that 5 minutes plus I needed to make another appointment for a clean. That was what we were there for I told them. I had to make a separate appointment for that. My time wasted. A money making business model not focussed on their existing customers.
