Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend South St Dental Implants highly enough. From start to finish, the entire team was caring, kind, and incredibly professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the whole process. Dr Tee Ming Shaw was absolutely wonderful, professional, gentle, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend him. He made me feel at ease every step of the way and his work has completely changed my life. Having my teeth done here has been truly life-changing. They didn’t just give me a new smile they gave me back my confidence. I honestly feel brand new. The level of care, attention to detail, and compassion shown was outstanding. If you’re considering dental implants or dental work of any kind, South St Dental Implants and Dr Tee Ming Shaw are absolutely the place to go. Thank you for giving me a smile I’m proud of again! Fantastic experience: An excellent dental practice. Dr Te has done an outstanding job on my new veneers. Always friendly and welcoming from the whole team when I come in, which is nice. I would highly recommend these dental specialists to friends and people I like. My teeth were actually damaged after a serious motorcycle accident. So they have saved a painful future (as far as my teeth are concerned), and given me back confidence to smile with their impressive aesthetic dental skills. Thank you Dr Te.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting South Street Dental for over 4 years now and whish I had found them many years earlier. All of the Staff have always been very professional and kind towards me. As soon as you walk in the entrance, you are greeted with a lovely smile by the young lady's at the front desk. Dr Te (AKA Mr T) is always on time and happy to see me. He is happy to answer any questions i may have about my teeth etc during my dental work. He is very patient, careful and precise with a steady hand and has a good sense of humour. Ashley, Ashlee or Ashleigh lol was assisting Mr T on my last 2 visits and has an awesome sense of humour and made me laugh. It was like we were all friends for half an hour lol. They both made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting all your dental work done at South Street Dental Centre ☺️☺️

Fantastic experience: They fitted my daughter straight in and did such a fantastic job after she chipped her front tooth. Everyone was so empathetic and caring and the did such a great job. Walked in with an upset little girl, and walked out half an hour later with the biggest smile. Thank you

I go there to get my teeth clean and checked and Mrs Sukhdeep is so professional she is amazing and she make me brush way better than I've ever had because I don't want to let her down Well done South Street 5 stars

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular visitor to the clinic for several years now. While I haven't encountered any major issues with their dental service, I find it puzzling that all the reviews consistently praise the clinic's excellent service. Unfortunately, every time I visit, I am consistently kept waiting for over 45 minutes. I can't help but wonder if it's just a coincidence or if I am simply an unlucky customer. As I sit here contemplating this, I feel compelled to write a review to express my frustration before it slips my mind before my next visit (in six months). It's particularly frustrating because I have taken time off work to attend these appointments, and I believe the phone staff should have the courtesy to inform me if there will be a delay. **Edit-I changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars as there was no delay in my last appointment

Negative experience: I got my teeth extracted and the dentist put alot of pressure my adjacent teeth just turned too much and but not it hurts to much. I dont know what to do next

Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth taken out with Dr Chan and the whole process was fantastic. I was quite anxious on the day, but both him and Dr Sophie Anderson (anesthesiologist) made me feel perfectly comfortable. They explained everything, answered all my questions, and were lovely to chat to. Would recommend this practice to anyone needing work done on their teeth. They are also incredibly affordable, which was a relief for me as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this dentist for a few years now everyone is always helpful and lovely. Tess is always willing to answer questions you have or help with anything you need. All the dental nurses are caring and I had Dr Henry Chan remove my widosm teeth and the procedure went really well. He explained everything well and I get uncomfortable going under general anaesthetic but I was calm knowing I was in good hands !

Positive experience: good dentist - sometimes communication isn't the best but they really can through recently in helping my daughter visit the surgery for free just to get used it before she actually sees the dentist as she's only young

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dental clinics around in Perth and Sydney metro areas and never been satisfied with my dental treatment until I found South street dental clinic. Staff is very friendly, helpful, skill full and they all know their jobs very well. Their customer service is exceptionally great. In my opinion, If you have something like South street dental clinic in your city there’s no point going somewhere else. Thank you for giving me my smile back Dr. Henry .

Fantastic experience: Cannot rate this place high enough. Receptionist is fantastic, knowledgable and always on top of my appointments. Te one of the dentists is great, puts you at ease and extremely professional. The cleanliness is top notch and medical equipment and machinery they have is only caparable to dentists in Germany which is top of the range! Would highly recommend to everyone!

Everything was explained to me thoroughly, the procedure went smoothly and the follow up was very efficient. Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentists and the environment is lovely too! I have a serious phobia of dentist visits but Henry and his crew are gentle and make sure there is no pain! My children also see Henry and they love going back. Love it, 5 stars!!!

Fantastic experience: Henry Chan and the practice was recommended to me by a friend and I highly recommend the team here. I'v'e been coming here for 3 years for my yearly clean, check-up and teeth whiting. I travel from north of the river to O'Connor. Despite the distance I feel it's worth the travel because I have trust in them, as they are very clear and honest with the service they provide.

Negative experience: Visited in 2018 for a scale and clean and assessment and paid a reasonable price of $115. The staff then were very friendly. Visited again a month ago and was charged an extortionate amount for the same service..$300!!! Not only that but the technician was very rude and made several inappropriate comments to me.. She also xrayed my teeth without letting me know that she was adding on to my bill. she also charged me for the dentist who assessed my teeth for all of 5 seconds.. another $60.. he missed several things that were wrong with my teeth. They also convinced me to pay for some expensive toothpaste that has completely ruined my teeth! I used it for three weeks (2 months was the recommended time) and now ALL of my teeth are incredibly sensitive to temperature and flossing... Thanks a lot! You should tell your patients when you are adding HUNDREDS of dollars on to their bill.. and maybe be a little more polite when seeing them. I will not be returning.

Negative experience: I did my filling for $200 plus around end of June 2019. My tooth felt a little sensitive again 3 weeks ago. It has just been 7 months. I thought it would last a lot longer than that. I did not even like to bite on hard foods or whatsoever. What a disappointment. I guess I had to do filling again and it would cost me another $200 plus on the same tooth. What a waste of money.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up and clean, felt I was pushed into xrays at the time by a dental nurse, didn’t feel at all comfortable and wasnt explained the full cost up front. I left feeling quite violated and payed more than double of what I was expecting for the service. When querying the account I was offered a 10% refund for my next visit. Sorry, that’s not good enough, I won’t be going back

Fantastic experience: I have had a phobia of going to the dentist my whole life so I left it 6 years before seeing a dentist. I saw Dr Henry Chan for a check up of my teeth and this was my first time at this dental centre. I was very, very ill for almost a year with chronic ear pain and dizzyness that doctors and specialists couldn’t figure out. Turns out, I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth that were really severe and they were infected with an abscess and a cavity causing lots of pain. Dr Henry Chan and Tes (the lovely, informative receptionist) made it so easy for me and I can’t thank them enough. It’s day 8 after my surgery that was performed by Dr Chan and I’m recovering well. Not only are they affordable and reasonable with their pricing, they are genuinely friendly and caring people. This will now be my regular place to go to :)

Fantastic experience: Ok so I know most people think that their dentist is the best and I also used to think that too until I came to South Street Dental. Henry and his team are by far the BEST dental practice I have ever been to in AUS or NZ. Whether it is surgery or just a filling, Henry has used his skills, experience and understanding nature to make the experience as pain free and comfortable as possible for me! He is truly an extremely talented man with the backing of an excellent admin team and hygienists which makes their service second to none. I HIGHLY recommend Henry to anyone who is anxious about going to the dentist as he makes the experience seem like a breeze. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed! (And no, I did not get paid for writing this review nor do I have any personal association with anyone at South Street Dental lol)
