Negative experience: Looks all shiny on the outside, they are friendly and helpful and the clinic is lovely. What a shame about the substance... paid over $200 for a 'checkup and clean' and was in and out in 12 minutes. It's not "cheap" if the cost of their "care" is to lose my teeth.

Negative experience: came here a few months ago. got a gum infection after procedure. edit: I was told by Allenby Gardens Dental, that i required a total of 4 fillings. I had two fillings here and then contracted the gum infection. I decided to switch to a different dental surgery and after they performed a check up, they said that i only had one minor cavity that didnt yet require filling and that was it. They could not locate a second cavity.

Fantastic experience: My old dentist who I had patronised for many years retired, and my daughter recommended her dentist at this clinic. I had been seeing Dr Joey and Dr Adelia for a couple of years and are extremely happy with the experience. The fees are very reasonable, and the skill and treatment I received are second to none. I would recommend this dental practice without any reservation. Incidentally my daughter who patronises another dentist at this clinics is also very happy with her experience.

Negative experience: Obtained an infection from dodgy treatment here. Highly do not recommend if you want to keep your teeth. Update: The filling placed in the tooth was excessively deep and near the nerve. Visited another clinic where the dentist advised extraction as the optimal solution. Completely devastated. Spent money and time only to end up losing a tooth due to the incompetence of the dentist.

Another review mentioned her communication skills and attention to detail. I totally agree with those comments. Likewise, all staff were polite and helpful. Update 14/02/2023 Another successful visit to Allenby Gardens Dental Clinic. Through no fault of my own I had to reschedule the appointment three times. On each occasion the receptionist thanked me for the early warning and diligently rescheduled. The consultation went well. Dr Joey is so technically skillful. What people might not appreciate is her chair-side manner. She even laughed at my lamentable jokes. Now that takes great social skills and no amount of University education. Visits to the Dentist are seldom pleasurable, but this one was because of Dr Joey's skill, the dental nurse's patience and the receptionist's understanding in dealing with an old man. I highly recommend them.
