Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful practice with friendly, welcoming staff. My family sees Dr Amber Halstead, who is an excellent and genuinely caring dentist. I have very sensitive teeth, and she is always gentle and attentive with both me and my children. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: At the risk of getting my favorite dental practice overrun to the point where I have to wait a year to get in I highly recommend Hawker Dental practice to anyone who wants great team of people looking after them.

Negative experience: 1. Unprofessional Conduct: Dr. Shaw used offensive and highly inappropriate language to describe my oral hygiene. This verbal conduct caused me significant distress and made me uncomfortable. Furthermore, Dr. Shaw was noticeably rushed throughout the appointment and did not spend time answering my questions. 2. Billing Discrepancy: I was charged $400 for the procedure when I was quoted $250. This unquoted fee was demanded without prior discussion or financial consent. When I complained, I felt pressured by the receptionist to pay the surprise amount. 3. Refusal to Resolve: Dr. Shaw subsequently admitted via email that the pricing was incorrect, but the practice still refused to issue a refund for the overcharged amount of $150.

Negative experience: Staff were lovely and friendly. I went in to get checkup, couldn’t go with my usual dentist, the dentist I saw recommend I rebook for to get 7 cavities filled and a potential root canal. Got xray and saw regular dentist who said I had none that needed filling.

A good team, got my records from past dentists, ready for my first appointment, and Dr Amber Halstead a very good communicator, and aware of my dental history from the records sent. Dr Emma was able to do two fillings during my appointment. I have rebooked my next appointment. I found the practice to be welcoming and calm.
