Fantastic experience: Thank you North Lakes Dental Centre. I recently had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Minyan and her assistant and I was treated with kindness and gentleness. I would highly recommend these dentists for the way they treat their patients right from the time you enter as you are welcomed by Nicole to the tome you leave. Certainly left a wonderful impression on me.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Dr. Henry for the last 5-6 years and have found his dental treatment great, as well as gental and utmost care to our sensitive teeth. Would recommend his clinic anytime.

Fantastic experience: WoW what a superb dentist is Dr Henry Chong. Recently I had my first visit to this dental team for a checkup and clean. I was expecting to experience the usual rough cleaning with sometimes more than a little painful scraping but no — he was so gentle, thorough, careful, communicative and caring. In my 70 years I rate Henry the best and most gentle dentist I have ever had. The cost which included X-rays was cheaper than where I have previously been. Henry showed me the X-rays and discussed with me next steps. He took on board my perspective and it was an all round great visit. And the helpful caring attitude did not stop with Henry, and his dental assistant, as Nicole in reception is a champion. She was super friendly, encouraging and extremely helpful with every one of us who were waiting. I am so glad my daughter and son-in-law recommended that I try this dental team. They see Sam here and are also very happy with the care and treatment he gives them and their daughter. I’ve encouraged my wife, who is very anxious going to a dentist, to come here too.

Fantastic experience: I get my 6 month checks done here regularly and the staff is always lovely. A special appreciation to both Jasmine and Dr Minyen who work swiftly and always bringing a professional and friendly smile to the job that makes my day.

Fantastic experience: The whole team at NLDC are fantastic! From making appointments to after care, every team member is caring & professional. I’ve been a patient for many years. For the past 3 years, Dr Minyen Chia has provided excellent direction and treatment through some complex work. I needed specialist root canal work, that enabled me to finally undergo teeth alignment. I’m so pleased with the results and feel very lucky to have such an amazing dental team right here on my doorstep in NL.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend this practice! I have had a fear of the dentist for years but when it came down to having to go, I chose North Lakes Dental Care. Dr Henry Chiang was amazing and made sure I was comfortable through out my whole appointment. Will definitely be back!

Negative experience: What i went through, I would not want anybody else to go through the same thing. I approached this dental practice after searching a dental that does dentures as well as extractions, all in the same clinic. I did an appointment and on the day, their system made an appt with another department. So Ann, the receptionist, made an appt for Dr Das, who specialises in dentures and implants. Which who i wanted. We spoke on the appointment, Dr Das made a plan and sent it to me. Ann, the receptionist, hounded me to make an appt. It was a big decision. I was told that I needed to pay half of $7,000 (the total amount for dentures and extractions. Top dentures, bottom extractions and dentures) by Ann to make the next appt. I ignored her calls. Fast forward, I felt so I went there to get 9 bottom teeth extracted. Dr Das's assistance, during the procedure asked Dr Das if he was to suture, he said no. He applied the bottom dentures and sent me home. During the 3 days for my next appt with Dr Das, I was heavily bleeding from the extractions. Thankfully my appt was early in the morning, I rushed there and asked Dr Das to please make it stop the bleeding. He then asked if I had taken the dentures out that are impacted into my gums and I said no. How? They hurt like hell! Next appt, Dr Das pulled the dentures out while it was agony, and examined my sore gums. I thought it was ulcers but it was my bones showing because the dentures were so tight, it dragged my skin down and exposed bone! Dr Das sent me to specialists in chermside who agreed to what I suspected. I did speak to Dr Das about my situation and his reply was he is "no god "! I'm writing this now as he made me sign something which didn't make sense, maybe to not speak out about my horrible experience but I have heard I'm not the only one. I suffered from depression for a year, having NO bottom teeth or dentures because the dentures are too tight! Waste of money! Now it's my time to speak out about my horrible experience, actually it was a nightmare!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to North Lakes Dental Centre for nearly 6 years. Dr Henry is always so calm and he immediately makes me feel at ease. He is a fantastic dentist, and I highly recommend him. From the moment you walk into the practice you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are all so lovely. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Minyen Chia in October and have to say it is hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. Swift, precise, and flawless sums up the level of work performed and I am happy to report no issues following my appointment. I am very thankful and look forward to future appointments!

Positive experience: Really disappointed at their lack of customer service. Every time I visit I'm asked to complete a full page of information history which they would have on file. Simply print out what's on record and ask the customer to verify!!!! Or provide a tablet for them to complete any changes . . . get with the modern world, please

Fantastic experience: First visit here on Friday 15 March. The clinic has easy parking and access which is helpful. I saw Dr Sam- he is lovely and great at explaining what has happened to the tooth, what he will do and then showing you on the camera at the end and explaining any further options if there are any. Very good and conservative, no pushy upselling only good, efficient dentistry with great communication along the way. Assistant Nia and Reception Nicole were very helpful and friendly too. Based on this experience, I will certainly come back to this clinic again.

Fantastic experience: North Lakes Dental centre is undoubtedly the best Dentist I have ever been to for all my dental work. For me to say this it is saying a lot considering I had my entire mouth filled by the time I was 13yrs old as each of my adult teeth came in they needed to be filled. Dr Henry Chiang is my Dentist at North Lakes Dental centre & I appreciate him so very much along with his team of friendly, kind & competent assistants. Henry is an extremely talented dentist with attention to every detail. Dr Henry goes above & beyond to both help, treat & fix my teeth and I can say that I have never experienced any discomfort or pain in my 10+ years of receiving dental work from him. I had an emergency last week and Henry along with his staff - Joy, Nicole & Niah all came in early so that I could have my procedure done:-) I thought that was amazing as there were no appointments available that day so they all got together and made room for me in their own time!! I cannot thank Henry & his team of kind friendly staff & colleagues enough. I am always made to feel welcome, nothing is ever too much trouble and the prices are very fair considering the quality of work that I receive. You can find cheaper dentists but in my experience the quality of work and the products they use can be inferior. I recently had to go somewhere else when North Lakes Dental centre was closed on a weekend for a Dental emergency & although the Dentist was kind an accomodating …the work that was performed on me was not done very well and I had to get the work re-done by Dr Henry the following day with no problems at all. Having recently had the experience of going somewhere else reminded me of just how lucky I am to have such an amazing, competent & professional Dentist. Dr Henry Chiang has extensive experience in the industry & in my opinion one of the best Dentists in Australia if not the world ( as I have had Dental work done in the U.K as-well ) I cannot praise Dr Henry Chiang and his team enough. I appreciate what they have done for me over the years and I consider myself extremely lucky & a privilege to be a patient of theirs. Also North Lakes Dental Centre is a family owned clinic & I find that they truly care about the work & take pride in what they do :-) I am treated as a person and not just a number. Oh and WOW North Lakes Dental Centre is so so clean , I noticed just how clean when comparing my experience with the other dentist recently. So if anyone is looking for quality work done with peace of mind in a calm & relaxing environment I can who heartedly recommend North Lakes Dental Centre ( which is located in the same complex as Night Owl & the Laundromat) I wish to thank Dr Henry, Joy, Niah & Nicole for making me feel so welcome over the years & look forward to continuing treatment for many years to come. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing team making me feel so at ease and Dr spending time explaining to me everything I needed to know. Very reasonable price too! I came here by the word of mouth and certainly would not go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Got charged for an extended consultation when I was in there for no longer than 10 mins. Needed a filling fixed and they tried to tel me I needed root canal and a crown. Dodgy and in trustworthy. Stay clear

Fantastic experience: Amazing service! Had a sore tooth and they where so helpful getting me in quickly before Xmas. All the girls are so helpful and professional. The dentist was so gentle so bonus is no anxiety.

Negative experience: The receptionist was terrible and rude. I was waiting for almost an hour to get in, appointment was done prior. I watched three patients came in before me and I arrived on time of my appointment. No updates from the clinic and I was just waiting for nothing. Ended up leaving instead. I would not recommend this clinic because of their bad attitude and mistreatment. Would give zero stars but Google won’t allow me.

Fantastic experience: An AMAZING dentist!!! Dr Henry Chiang did a great deal of dental work on my 3 year old!! A paediatric dentist had previously told me that she would need to go to hospital and go under general anesthesia to have the work completed, all of which was going to cost around $5000!!! Dr Henry Chiang did all the work needed over a number of visits and he did a great job of making her feel at ease, she had no idea that she had injections each time she went. She loves going there and loves the stickers, being able to watch her shows while she is having work done and the iPads in the waiting room are a big hit too. Along with the lovely ladies who assist Dr Henry, the whole experience was brilliant!!! Thank you so much to Dr Henry Chiang and his wonderful team!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am a first time customer. I went to North Lakes Dental centre yesterday with excruciating toothache, yip an abscess, Ouch! However, Dr Caleb Petre had a look at it, and found the problem tooth very quickly and explained all the options that I had to me very thoroughly. I left with my tooth in my mouth and was pain free within half an hour. the team at North Lakes Dentist Centre are a Very polite & professional team and put me at ease the minute I walked through the door. Fantastic experience: Pleasant team, good dentists.

Fantastic experience: Dr Derek Ngoo was very friendly and calm, which made my 4 year old son very comfortable for his first visit to the dentist. Other staff were very friendly and there is an iPad and toys in the waiting room for the kids.

Fantastic experience: The more I think about the recent experience with these guys...the more I'm impressed! Everyone there is friendly and thorough. Tash who I believe is the practice manager, was professional and informative. She really made me feel welcome and cared for. Dr Henry is by far the best dentist I have been too. I'm a nervous patient, presented with quite a difficult task at hand (extraction). Told by other practices that this couldn't be done- Henry did it within 20 minutes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Positive experience: Pros: -Friendly staff -very quick procedure (in my case) -average pricing Cons: -I very much disliked the pokie machines/games setup to entertain kids. I personally dont think it is a good idea making kids familiar or addicted to games like that at young age. -minus 1 star- -the procedure of replacing one broken filling was very quick (15min) and from what I can tell with my limited knowledge, it seemed technically fine. But I wish the dentist would have spend a minute or two more, just to make it look like a tooth by carving a fisur, like other dentists do. She really was only "plugging a hole" with cement. -minus 1 star-

Fantastic experience: The team at this clinic are FANTASTIC! Like most people I fear the dentist due to past poor experiences. I’ve been to this clinic twice now and both times the experience was nothing to fear. They made sure that I was okay, put my mind at ease by explaining everything to me and did the work with out any pain or discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I presented to this practice with severe pain in my gum. I was able to get an appointment within a very reasonable time and was quickly diagnosed. I then returned and had my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr Ngoo performed this efficiently and totally pain free. Follow-up after care was also excellent. Highly recommend this practice.

Natasha the dental assistant is always lovely and more than happy to help with enquiries and bookings. I will be going back in future and would recommend other to give them a go if you are after a dentist that is gentle on the tooth and wallet. Two thumbs up :)
