Fantastic experience: Don’t be put off by the older exterior, inside, the clinic is modern, comfortable, and spotless. I saw Dr. Nick today and was really impressed by his professionalism and how thorough he was during the examination. Olivia, the dental assistant, was incredibly helpful, informative, and friendly. The receptionist was also lovely and easy to deal with. 10/10 experience! I came in for an urgent dental issue, but I’ve now decided to make this my regular clinic. I’ll be recommending it to my husband too!

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous when I booked in. Like a lot of people the thought of my teeth and the pain made me quite uneasy. As soon as I got in I was put at ease. The friendly lady at reception acknowledged me nerves and had a brief chat and put me at ease. Once I walked in it was very calming and the staff were amazing. They clearly communicated, checked in throughout the appointment and explained the results of the xray. It was so refreshing compared to my last appointment and I am so grateful of how much care they took. I highly recommend this place and the staff are amazing.

I revisited Dr Mark after not seeing him for 18 months and he was the greatest dentist I've ever been to. My teeth are pretty bad. Dr Mark and the rest of the staff made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. They hold no judgement and once again I could not recommend this dentist enough to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dentist for a long time and have been meaning to write a review. I was just there on Wednesday getting fillings done. I advoid dentists as I have a needle phobia, even if my teeth are cracked. Not to mention I have extreme stress with someone working inside of my mouth. I have a overwhelming battle to fight against the idea of suffocating. All unfounded fears. When I shouldn't swallow, thats when I do. I have to take sedatives to even go to a dentist. When you walk into this dentist there is a great calm. The environment is very relaxing and not clinical. All the dentists are great there, but my preferred dentist is Mark Harrison as I feel that he totally understands my behaviour and fears putting me at total ease. His whole persona is very calming and reassuring throughout every procedure. He makes sure I am very numb and never rushes anything, always making sure the aesthetic has fully worked before drilling. Your not just a customer with him, you kind of feel you are friend as he chats about many things, which is great as it takes your mind off of why your there a bit. Even the lady at the front desk is very calming. I has troubles with my HBF card and needed my husband to come in and sort it out. It was after hours and I am sure she wanted to go home. But she treated me like the first customer of the day. Very kindly and patient.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up.. he started drilling out a little decay at my front tooth / crown at the gum line to see how far it went. He did not fill where he drilled & the very next time I went to bite down on something, it snapped off completely!! I aliken it to chopping down a tree with a chainsaw!! I am in the process of taking legal action!! BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT DENTIST!!

Fantastic experience: Smiles on Flinders has been my #1 dentist for well over 5 years and I never have any intention on changing. I highly recommend this practice; they're consistent in quality, price and outstanding customer service. The thought of having to see a dentist is never a great feeling but Smiles on Flinders make the experience 100 times more bearable.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this clinic Dr McPherson is so gentle and understanding. He gives great advice and their use of gentle dentistry is comforting considering how terrifying going to a dentist is . I've never been scared to go.

Starting from Miranda at the front and leading onto the nurse Ellie - they are the excellent! Besides being the feather touch dentist, Nic is really affordable! Fantastic experience: I visited Smiles on Flinders for the first time yesterday, as recommended to me by a friend. I have a fear of anything medical, including dental work. However, I was made to feel at ease as soon as I walked into the practice. I was seen by Dr Nick Macpherson, and his nurse, Ellee. I advised I was a nervous and anxious patient, and I received incredible treatment from them both. Constantly reassuring me and ensuring I was OK. I highly recommend this practice, in particular Dr Nick, especially if you have a fear of the dentist. I went for emergency work, but have since booked in for a check up and further work, whereas, previously I would have avoided attending the dentist until I absolutely needed to go. An all round pleasant experience - the practice is clean and serene, all staff are very friendly, Dr Nick and Ellee are great!

Fantastic experience: I used to be a dental nurse... which actually translates to me being a total sook when it comes to having any dental treatment! However, Nick has been looking after my teeth for the past two decades, which is one of the reasons why at 67 I still have my own teeth... well preserved by Nick’s excellent skills in crowning almost all of them. (He gives the best local anaesthetics... trust me on this; I’ve had so many in my life time!) Nick, his colleagues and all of the staff at Smiles on Flinders are fantastic and are all highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've ever been to! After bouncing around other dentists in Perth and receiving average service, I almost resorted to dental at home, with Dr. Google as my nurse. After being persuaded by all my friends that this wasn't a good idea and that not everything on you-tube should be reproduced, I was recommended to come to this place by a friend. You'll be impressed from the moment you walk in, the place is spotless, with gardens outside that would make Jurassic Park jealous. You feel much more like your at a house than a dental surgery I felt calm and relieved. Some of the dental nurses aren't bad too ;) Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I put off going to the dentist for a long time due to childhood braces. I wish I had gone sooner, Nick is so friendly and professional, actually everyone there is. Doesn't even have that dentist scent, big thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: Such a friendly environment to walk in to. Set in a modern facility, going for my appointments is always a comfortable and easy experience. Very knowledgeable and professional dental staff who will help in anyway they can (eg arranging a same day specialist appointment!) I recommend to everyone looking for a caring, attentive dental team.

Negative experience: Not very good. Reading at all the good and bad reviews, I feel that their service is very moody. So if you are lucky, you will get well treated. The doctor comes in tell me that I need to be on Painkiller(I was on painkiller 3 days before visiting them)..Pain killer subscriptions and wrong x-rays cost $250. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Extremely happy! I am new to the area and I have just had a pain free night after a weekend of agony. The friendly receptionist found me an appointment within the day. I had rang a number of other practices who wouldn't see me at short notice because I wasn't a patient with them. Professional and caring. I will be recommending the practice to friends and family. The hygienist and the dentist were both gentle and thorough and worked through their break to help me.

Negative experience: Not happy. Everything was fine for a while as I used their expensive services but when there was a problem, a really painful abscess coming up under a filling they had done three weeks previously, I was told that 'we mustn't have got it in time', and 'that will need root canal work'. I was made to feel that it was some how my fault then given a referral to a specialist and shown the door. If there was a basin of water nearby they would have stood there washing their hands as I tearfully walked away.

Negative experience: Don't ever visit this place, even in an emergency....one of the worst places I've been to!!!! I was there many years ago and didn't return because of the experience, recently I was desperate and found, the only thing that's changed is the date. Different dentist, same shocking attitude, I wouldn't even put my dog in there for a check up. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere........Disgusted. Rose Jones PS It's cost me another $150 today to clean up the mess, fortunately I found a professional dentist just around the corner in the opposite direction.
