Furthermore enDental spares no expense with latest and modern equipment for dental treatment and comfort. They also have this special dye that shows you where you are not brushing/flossing enough. Fantastic experience: Comecei a frequentar a Newtow Dentists primeiro porque tive conhecimento que lá trabalhavam doutores de língua portuguesa o que para mim era o ideal dado que o meu inglês era fraco. Desconhecia o trabalho que por lá se efectuava mas a minha necessidade era mais forte e arrisquei. Depois tive a sorte de logo na minha primeira visita ser com a Dra.Karyne(não a conhecia)mas bendida hora que fiquei a conhece la. Ela é uma pessoa extraordinária fantástica simpática carinhosa conselheira e grande profissional no trato com seus pacientes. Depois de vários tratamentos com a Dra Karyne e seu team (pois já não queria outras)e por motivos de saúde da parte dela tive que mudar de Dra e recomecei a dar continuidade aos meus tratamentos agora com a Dra.Eliese Bruno pessoa tbm muito especial e na linha da Dra Karyne. Negative experience: Currently taking them to NSW Fair Trading and the medical and dental boards for saying my client needed 4 wisdom teeth removed and 10 fillings and a crown. When they got a second opinion they needed none of these. The crown they did was the wrong fit and it had to be redone elsewhere. So devastating the amount of emotional and financial distress this has caused this person. When we were chatting to some other people about this they said that they had also done the same thing, try and tell them they needed a crown when they didn't. Straight up highway robbery performed by quacks.

Fantastic experience: I don’t even have words to describe how happy I’m with Dr.Lisa. I was looking for someone to remove 2 of my 4 wisdom teeth and every single person that I met was putting pressure on me saying that will be painful and take 3-5 hours do remove. When I’ve booked my surgery with Dr. Lisa and her assistant who has keeping myself calm I knew she was quick but no like this. 0 pain, 0 swollen and didn’t even take more than 1 hour to do EVERYTHING. Thank you very much I really appreciate your attention this afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Newtown Dentists are a very good place to go to for all types of dental work. Dr Chong has worked wonders on my teeth for several years. Everybody there shows professionalism, friendliness and skill.

Negative experience: Sat in the chair for maybe 30 seconds before the dentist told me to come back next time when I can afford to spend more. As it was my first visit I didn't want to commit to a full clean and X-rays before testing them out. I won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience I’ve ever had! Every single member of staff was kind and friendly, I feel like I have been going for years despite it being my first visit. The tiny details (lip balm before and during, numbing gel on the sensitive areas of my mouth before my clean etc) were what truely made this visit so enjoyable. I don’t remember the name of my dentist (she was Brazilian), but she was bubbly and friendly, and their was absolutely zero floss guilt. On top of all this, the pricing was very reasonable, even cheaper than expected. I will absolutely be back!!

Negative experience: Horrible bed side manner. I was completely berated during and on completion of the extraction of a tooth. The dentist was adamant that she wanted to carry out a root canal, however I opted to get the tooth extracted. Do not go there, horrible people.

Fantastic experience: Lisa did excellent work on my veneers. She is frank and thorough—in one word I would describe her as a perfectionist. If this is what you're looking for in a dentist, then I highly recommend her work.

Fantastic experience: I came to Newtown Dentists not as a patient (yet) but I thoroughly impressed with their modern, bright surgery and helpful staff. This, more than the convenience of their location close to my home and uni, is why I want to be a customer of Newtown Dentists.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken filling when I was on my holiday in Australia. I went to Newtown Dentists and had it repaired, and my travel insurance refunded their fee. I m so happy with the experience, as I m normally a very nervous patient. The dentist was very kind and I remember him giving me a "squeeze ball" to help me divert my attention. My dentist back in Germany said he did a good job. I would recommend!

Negative experience: Had initial consult and was charged 3 times more than initial quote due to dentists poor time management. They revised it back when I outlined that I wasn't informed of the change in price and wanted to complain about the process. They then refused any further treatment. Reception staff are nice, but I think the consultant could be more patient centred when providing information and addressing concerns.

Fantastic experience: attentive staff, but arrive early if you will go by car. Don’t have park near then the place.

Negative experience: On Saturday 20/Oct/18 I had an appointment at 11am. I was almost reaching my destination when someone called at 10:36am and cancelled the appointment at the last minute. It is unprofessional !

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend Dr Lisa Chong, wisdom tooth queen. She popped mine out in about half an hour an a day later I've got no swelling and no pain! If you need teeth removed this is the place to go!!

Fantastic experience: Our family have been seeing Dr Karyne De Agapito at Newtown Dentists for years. Even though it takes us about an hour each way to get there. We first went from recommendation but after the first experience, I couldn’t go anywhere else. It’s not only the professionalism of both the dentist and the staff, but the hygiene, the cleanliness and the thoroughness of it’s all, yet very comfortable. It’s not everyday, everywhere you can find a dentist who doesn’t just after your out of pocket fees, but really takes time to genuinely care for you and your family. My two older kids were petrifying of the word dentist but Dr Karyne De Agapito makes it all possible. Thank you. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

Fantastic experience: First visited this clinic in 2013 when I needed major dental work (the much dreaded root canal therapy). But the dentists here are so professional and helpful that they quickly put me at ease. Dr Katarzyna Iwaniuk has been a fantastic dentist and her passion for her patients shines through in each visit. I find myself looking forward to the next visit, instead of dreading it. Great team at Newtown Dentists.

Fantastic experience: I sought a second opinion from Dr Katarzyna Iwaniuk at Newtown Dentists when my regular dentist prescribed a radical cosmetic treatment, after diagnosing a serious necrotysing gum infection. I not only received a new correct diagnosis, I was referred to one of Sydney's best periodontists who successfully treated the condition. I was told without the second opinion from Dr Iwaniuk at Newtown, the initial treatment would have been a disaster. Thank you Dr Iwaniuk and the staff at Newtown Dentists.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Sydney just over 3 years ago. Being a regular dentist attendee, I wanted to find a good dentist to ensure my oral hygiene. I see my dentist Dr Adrian Lim @NewtownDentists twice a year for my regular check ups and the attention to detail, honest advice and friendly service from all the staff I receive is fantastic! Fantastic experience: I used to hate going to the dentist but people at Newtown dentists were so friendly, understanding and patient. I hadn't had my teeth checked in years but was made to feel welcome and cared for. The dentists took time to explain things and reassure me which helped a lot. Fantastic experience: I've always had problems with my teeth since I was very young, and it didn't help that I lost trust and confidence in dentists a long time ago. But I discovered Newtown Dentists exactly one year ago today, and have never looked back. I was amazed at the highly-skilled, professional and friendly staff and dentists of Newtown Dentists, particularly Dr K.I. I've never been subjected to such skill and expertise in the dentist's chair before, and Dr K.I. and her staff had only shown me professionalism and quality care with my teeth. On several occasions, I was made to feel special by the compassionate attitude they demonstrated, including checking up on me after hours and attending to my home care needs. My discomfort had dissipated and I am now pain and decay free. There was never a time when I felt that they were out to make money out of me or that I was being taken advantage of. There is no truth to the misconception that dentists are out to get the buck. Newtown Dentists have only demonstrated professionalism, high-quality work, compassion and a caring attitude to my plight. I highly recommend their expertise and services... I can't stop smiling.

Negative experience: This was my first trip to a dentist in a while, so I didn't know what to expect. To the best of my memory he told me I would need some fillings (I believe two) and a number of preventative works which prepare me for the future. He did not scrutinise what I was eating or how I was brushing overly much, just told me what we had to do. I had to pay just for a consultation, then come back again for the checkup, scale, clean and scan of my teeth - this added up in the hundreds already. I was supposed to come back and get the fillings and also preventative fillings (I believe it was 6 in total), but I decided to get health insurance and 6 months later went to an NIB dental clinic. Here they did a free checkup and told me that there was nothing apparently wrong with my teeth, I did not need any fillings, and that preventative fillings are something used in the past which is no longer considered necessary - adding fillings is usually done only after a problem is found. The Newtown dentist was nowhere near as comprehensive and concerned about my health as the NIB dentist (who asked a number of questions and gave me cleaning tips). I feel reasonably convinced that the Newtown Dentists were looking to make as much money out of me as possible, and certainly didn't give as better quality service as NIB. I would caution those considering them as an option.
