Fantastic experience: Our family has been visiting Dr Ben Barrera for about 15 years and he is a brilliant dentist and a fantastic human. He is always patient, kind and takes time to explain what is happening. All the staff are great and they make a trip to the dentist as good as it possibly can be.

Fantastic experience: Jeff Brown has been our dentist for over 20 years and treats the entire family now. I cannot recommend his practice any more highly. We have had routine check ups, cleaning, root canal, fillings, Invisalign and braces all done by Jeff and his team. Your teeth will be in great hands at this practice!

Fantastic experience: Got tooth extracted and immediate implant done by Dr. Jack Obaid, it was done so quickly, effortlessly and completely pain free. For someone like me who had massive anxiety for the tooth extraction, he simply explained the procedure in detail and left no stones unturned. The entire procedure was done in no time with NO postoperative pain. I 100 percent recommend anyone who is in the same boat like me to know you will be in the best hands.

Negative experience: Staff and dentists are very rude. Dentist Jeff was snappy with my child. Feel sorry for way front desk staff were treated by him. At least he is good dentist. Won't be coming back .

Fantastic experience: Exceptional professional service provided at Maven. From Adele the Hygeniest to Dr Jack Obeid. Their attention to detail, professionalism is second to none. From when you walk in, to post treatment, they ensure the experience is easy and all your needs are met. Would recommend the team at Maven hands down.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this practice. I used to go here for routine care prior to relocating to the USA. I had 2 root canals and 2 crowns done here, since being in the US they have confirmed that both root canal treatments were incomplete (one root missed and one not deep enough) and have required subsequent retreatment due to infections. One of the crowns was not set properly and has also needed to be replaced. Whilst the facility has the veneer of a modern practice, I will certainly be looking for a more reliable practice when I relocate to Australia.

Negative experience: Very disappointing.. after myself 9yr son had and issue with his tooth my husband took the day off work to bring him in 1hr Travel to your practice which has been out family dentist for around 7yrs you wanted to palm him off to a “paediatric specialist” for a filling in his tooth !! You did nothing charged us and sent them home.. I got A second opinion this morning At my now new dentist !!! I have antibiotics and a plan as the tooth is a baby tooth it should fall out in the next two weeks !!! Shame on you guys ... terrible service ... we won’t be coming back again..

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful positive group of people with fantastic energy. I was greeted by the lovely receptionists and my dental nurse who made me feel so welcome. Then my dentist Ben was so friendly with a calm demeanour, making me feel at ease whilst completing a thorough clean on my teeth. And it was very affordable! I’ll be going back for sure.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting this place for over 10 years - been looked after by Dr Tiffany Kenton and Milry Braun. Without hesitation, I highly recommend both of them....they are both extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, warm, conscientious, compassionate, skilled, helpful, experienced & trustworthy. I say this based on all kinds of treatment done on me - fillings, root canal, crowns, removal of wisdom teeth, removal of plaque and deep professional cleaning.

Negative experience: I had a very bad tooth ache, and my regular dentist didn't have any appointments available. So I scheduled an appointment with Maven Dental. The dentist took a scan, told me what I already knew (because my regular dentist already pointed it out), he then said that he couldn't perform the operation to help me on that day and rescheduled for a whole week later. So I paid 125 for the consultation and the X-ray, which amounted to absolutely nothing since I could see my regular dentist earlier than their reschedule. They also wanted $450 for an extraction where my regular dentist charged me $260. To make it worse I started getting unsolicited phone calls from insurance agencies offering me insurance that I didn't ask for, when I blocked those numbers they started calling my emergency contact. So these guys just blatantly gave away my details without any consent! Absolutely appalled.

Negative experience: I took my sister to this dentist. He performed two extractions and put bone grafts in at the same time for future implants. He didn't check to see that part of the roots had been left in.This should have been obvious from the teeth when they were extracted and checked by X-ray. As he put bone powder on top of the broken roots it set up a terrible infection in one site and a prosthedontist had to cut it out from where the bone had integrated. She has now had implants performed by someone who X-rays after extractions and doesn't use mini implants which is what this one wanted to do. Changing company names will not change the manner in which business is conducted.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL PRACTICE!! It is not worth going to Greenwood Dental for convenience if you're looking for a North Sydney dentist. I went to this practice for a clean and was also charged for a consultation which I was not told about or agreed to. When i queried the charge I was told I would not be reimbursed even though no consultation occurred. After going to a second dentist the following week, they were able to remove a ton of plaque which clearly hadn't been removed during my clean at Greenwood. DO NOT go here if you don't want to waste $300 for work that will need to be re-done by another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Greenwood Dental for the past 5 years now, having general dental work as well as Invisalign procedures. The dentist I see, Dr. Barrera, has been consistently excellent and all supporting staff have been nothing but accommodating and reassuring. I can highly recommend this practice and have, referring many friends and colleagues (as sometimes a dentist visit isn't the most appealing thought to some!)

Negative experience: Had root canal and crown done. Botched up my tooth and drilled too far . Weakened my tooth , roots even cracked. Now have to get pull tooth pulled out. Will not go back even to ask for compensation !!!

Fantastic experience: My front tooth just turned grey unexpectedly which was quite stressful. Within 4 days I have had a root canal and the discolouration dealt with. With Ben being a Bupa provider I was only $50 out of pocket! Very impressed

Negative experience: I was quite impressed on my first two visits. However; a following a tooth extraction I developed an awful infection that caused me excruciating pain for many months. Taking repeat courses of antibiotics was not resolving the problem.I found another local dentist who performed an X-ray and found part of an infected root had been left in the gum. I now have no confidence in this practice and go elsewhere.

Positive experience: My husband and I come here for regular check ups and cleanings. Dr. Brown is great - no complaints here. Very careful and makes you feel very comfortable. They also offer teeth whiting which my husband and I both took advance of. The staff are friendly and they offer refreshment in the waiting area which is always a bonus!
