Fantastic experience: NDC Toowoomba are exceptional dentists! Kind, caring, disability-friendly. (They even have wheelchair accessible disabled toilet facilities which is rare these days!) They are fabulous if you have sensitive teeth or have autism or other sensitivities. I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for roughly 12 months & Tony has looked after my dental cleans and dental work with absolute professionalism & kindness. Being a Medibank members first my two cleans a year are free, Tony also helped to wave some costs on other work that I couldn’t afford & put it to my private health to take the financial stress off me so this is also why I have trust in this business. We want a dentist who gets how much the struggles are real, not to try and treat us like an atm machine that doesn’t end. I had my second dental appointment yesterday and the lady was nice and gentle and my teeth are sparkling ✨ thank you and see you next year. Xx highly recommended. Ps- Tony will be missed, he’s a really honest, caring & understanding person who always tries so hard effortlessly to keep the costs down. I don’t understand why people are so mean on these reviews about him, if you treat him with respect he will do the same, it’s not hard to do. My clean yesterday was with dr Pooja kakkar and I really liked her. I feel just as comfortable with her as I did with Tony.

Positive experience: My wife and I have been very happy with the treatment provided by Tony over the last couple of years but we are very disappointed to hear that he is leaving for reasons that we completely understand and agree with. Negative experience: So expensive$$$$!! For a tooth filling which still incomplete or undone cost me $783, and the dentist gave me $100 discount, insurance only covers $90, so $583 out-of-pocket. The dentist would like me to come back for the complete filling in 2 weeks provided if I don’t feel any pain, otherwise he might remove the tooth which I will find out how much will it cost me if I opted to come back. I just book in this clinic as they have the same day appointment available since my husband is off that day and can take care of my 5 month old. I usually have my teeth done in my home country but this time since I have given birth and there is no plan of going home yet I decided to have my 1 tooth done for filling before it gets really bad. The procedure was well explained to me but the dentist did not mention that it will cost me that much, oh well “my fault, I guess for not asking it”. I was also expecting that my insurance will cover atleast 1/4 of it, or I don’t know companies sometimes take advantage of the fact that one has an insurance perhaps. Lesson: “ask the cost prior the procedure” I will stick to my original plan that I will just have my teeth done overseas which is at reasonable price for the services done.

This ensures both the quality of his work and expertise, as well as keeping us patients calm and in a really positive mindset throughout the treatments. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Tony Franklin does not know how to create a safe environment for his patients. He is condescending and rude, and when this is addressed with him, he's not afraid to double down on the condescension, and raise his voice loud enough to make a child in his presence cry. Edit: I appreciate you attempting to resolve this pn a public forum. However, I have already made a formal complaint and the response over the phone was that the dentist recognised some of his actions. When I asked if Tony would apologise to me either in person or on the phone, I was told you would get back to me. When you did get back to me, your message was that apparently advocating for myself meant my behaviour was unacceptable, and that I was no longer welcome at the practice. To add to this, I had been going to your practice for over 10 years with no issues, until I had my appointment with Tony.

Fantastic experience: I have no hesitation in recommending National Dental Care. Dr Tony Franklin and his staff are very professional, coupled with a warm, friendly, relaxed manner. I was a bit nervous, but he put me at ease, and there was no pain at all during my treatments. The practice is easy to find and has on site parking.

He gave me some very good advice and took time to explain and show things to me, and that to me showed that he cared about my wellbeing and I appreciated that about him. He was genuine and communicated well to me. He even took the time afterwards to help me understand the costs and made a plan to reduce them for me as much as possible.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for Korean dentist and just found that there is in Toowoomba so booked by online and visited. Every staffs were kind and nice :) Especially the dentist explained about details of any choices and each prices so that i can got fit treat in there. The staff and dentists were so friendly. The manager took our payment and explained so much with my family’s Medicare scheme. Negative experience: Not a place I’d go to again or recommend to anyone ever! I’m posting this review as I went to this place based on google reviews and I wanted to let people who might do the same know what I experienced. That was my first and will be my LAST! I was asked to do a temporary filling on a tooth which I believed I needed a root canal (turns out I was right) and was told that the tooth was not infected. I was in constant pain for four days where I had more painkillers than I’ve ever had and went back for my SET appointment only to be sent back home with a rescheduled appointment. I had to ask for antibiotics and as the pain was constant I went to a different dentist as I didn’t believe this place anymore only to be told that the tooth WAS badly infected given the lack of action when I went before it was that bad! Will never ever recommend this place to anyone for dental work. Please be mindful before you go here.

Fantastic experience: Dr Amir is amazing! Both myself and my partner initially went in for a check -up and clean. We both left feeling that he was thorough and really took his time to make sure it was done properly and we was extremely happy with the outcome. I have recently went back to him for a filling, which i felt no pain afterwards. I have already re-booked for teeth whitening and invisalign braces. I trust him 100% and will not use another dentist! I will continue to recommend him and Neil Street dental! The reception staff are extremely friendly and polite. Overall the service the client care they provide throughout is outstanding!
