Total Care Dental Studio - Dentist Waterford (Implant & Clear Aligners)

Negative experience: Went to Dr Terry with government voucher pain I my mola. He said looks ok deep clean 2. Days later nothing deep clean said it will settle the pain. Went to another dentist not total care . I was told tooth got to come out root Touch nerve had absese and infection. To all customer he not good. Just want go back more money maybe need major surgery. Total care should be called total butcher. Discusting 260 dollars 5 days pain come and go . Research for a good honest Dr if in doubt get second opinion

Fantastic experience: I was recently looking for a new dentist for myself and my two girls. I found Total Care Dental Studio at Waterford and was immediately impressed. The studio is modern, stylish and clean. The service was so friendly, with clear communication when it came to what was needed and costs and options. I have been back a few times now with my kids and for myself and every time I am so happy with the service provided. The first time I went I needed urgent care late on a Friday afternoon (when I broke a crown) and they fit me in immediately and followed up as well. I highly recommend Total Care Dental Studio.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service! I had my 7 yr old ADHD son go in for a filling who was being super fidgety and wouldn't open his mouth. The dentist was amazing, so patient with him. I will definitely be sticking with this place for all my children's dental work.

Negative experience: Absolutely ripped ne off 8k+ Rough as guts Dentist. My teeth are worse than they were before I walked in. No accountability on there part. Aligners are a complete waste of time and money particularly with this hack Job!!!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist - receptionist is always welcoming and they always follow up with your appointments great communications, the waiting area is always clean and smells amazing. He has always been super scared of dentists but she was so patient and gentle and explained the treatment really well! My whole family are now coming here and we are all happy with the service! Negative experience: GRACE TREATED THE WRONG TOOTH AND TOTALLY DESTROYED MY GOOD TOOTH FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. She obviously did not listen to my original complaint and just did what she wanted even though it was completely unnecessary. To add insult to injury they put a crown on it which is the wrong colour. Worse still, I was meant to see their senior dentist (Terry) but was left waiting for over 45 minutes with no explanation. I just left. They also wanted to charge me for their stuff up. I'm not giving them a penny. If anything they should be refunding and compensating me for their incompetence. They admitted fault, but refused to apologise. Dreadful service. STAY AWAY I would give zero or negative stars if it was possible.

I was scared of the treatment that I was expecting to have but was reassured and kept fully informed every step of the way. I am now able to go to a dentist and not be fearful! Receptionist is great and very accommodating and I would highly recommend any dentist in this practice.

The staff have all been kind, professional, and accommodating - and I really appreciate the way Dr Chiu gave me an accurate quote for all expected costs, before we proceeded with anything. Fantastic experience: Dr Chiu is an extremely skilled and caring Dentist, who takes time with his patients and ensures they are getting the best treatment and outcome for their concern. I see Dr Chiu regularly for my cleans but have taken the step after consultation to complete the clear aligner journey with him. I have never been happier, his staff was proactive throughout the whole process ensuring I book in follow up treatments and are always very well mannered. I have even recommended other family and friends and they have never been happier with the level of service they receive when they see the Total Care Dental team. 10/10.

Negative experience: Never contacted after my consult and X-ray, I did follow up twice, however my call was never returned by the dentist. Truly disappointed as I was recommended by family.

Fantastic experience: Reviewing sort of in advance, both because I have a family member already attending who gives a glowing review, and because I have never been so relieved discussing major dental work. I also noticed staff seem to be familiar with my family member and treatment he is receiving - always a great sign for a place like a dentist, demonstrating they care about individual patients. When booking a consultation for my partner, I could see I was being carefully listened to as I went through his issues and concerns. Throughout this discussion, I was given numerous suggestions for various options that might be available to him to help address each concern according to what might work for individual circumstance and budget. I have no doubt they will take amazing care of my partner's needs here in future :)

Negative experience: Dentist was rushed and left a huge shard in my gum which caused all kinds of issues. Would not recommend... **Thanks for the apology it is appreciated. The main issue was the aftercare and I was given no idea what to expect or how long it would take to recover. Dr Google said it can take up to 2 weeks hence why I waited. If I was told that or even had a follow up call I would have come straight back in. Hopefully now that this shard has come out it will start to heal :( *** Update 2*** Just went to another dentist and yes fragments are common after extractions and there were a few more. But after an x-ray there was a WHOLE root left behind. He was dumbfounded how this could have been missed.........

Negative experience: If you’re claim doesn’t not go through. 1- receptionist who processed it doesn’t care about it. 2- you rather be forced book in 3- you can be missed informed about your policy coverage.

Fantastic experience: The team at Total Care Dental are super friendly! Even after moving to the Gold Coast I refuse to go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Came for emergency care, but only got advice and desensitising cream. The problem was not fixed and has only gotten worse.

Fantastic experience: I had a very difficult surgical molar removal today, and found both the dentist & assistant brilliant in their care, professionalism and constant communication in the 90 minute marathon. And to top it off, the cost was only a third of what I thought it may be. Very very happy, but also very sore ATM. I have there several times before, but today they went over & beyond. Highly recommended .
