Fantastic experience: I would like to send a big appreciation to Dr Michael and the nurse who cleaned my teeth today. They helped me get over my anxiety by always cheering me up, telling me I was doing great. Dr Michael also explained everything clearly before and after the procedure, and gave me some valuable advices on how to take care of my teeth. Also a big thank you to all the staff I met today, they were extremely nice. I can’t recommend Shellharbour City Dental enough.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share what an amazing experience I’ve had with Dr. Irwin Halim. He’s such an honest, kind-hearted person who truly cares about his patients. After a terrible experience with a previous dentist in Corrimal—where I spent more and more money but my teeth were never properly fixed—I finally found someone who genuinely knows what he’s doing. Dr. Halim took the time to show me every step of the process, explained everything clearly, and got it all done precisely—and at a much more affordable price. I live with a chronic disability, severe anxiety, PTSD, and a traumatic past experience with dentistry that left me fearful to even sit in the chair. But since coming to Shellharbour City Dental, that’s all changed. Yes, I still get panic attacks, but Dr. Halim is always patient, gentle, and understanding. He never pushes me, always checks if I’m okay, and lets me take breaks when needed. His kindness and compassion have helped me overcome my fear of the dentist, and I can’t thank him enough. He has repaired my teeth, fixed chips, and restored my confidence—step by step, with genuine care. There truly are no words to express what a kind soul Dr. Irwin Halim is. Fantastic experience: Dr Erwin has been our family doctor for the last five years. He doesn’t over treat, he has a wonderful calm demeanour and works with us on strategies on better dental hygiene etc. spends a lot of time consulting and educating. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of both Luke and Kim. They are extremely professional and just lovely people. I recently had my top teeth capped and a partial denture fitted. Luke did a marvellous job , his very thorough and a perfectionist. My self esteem has been boosted and I couldn't be happier. Fantastic experience: Luke & Kim and the entire team are very helpful and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and given th best options that suit my teeth. They spend ample time to ensure my teeth are giving the care it needs. The clinic itself is always spotless and spacious. I don't feel like another number but as a patient known by my name. I would recommend anyone to contact the clinic even just for a checkup. Also I love how the parking is so convenient, as they are located right near the entrance. Plus I can save time by picking up some groceries at Coles which is only a few metres away.

Negative experience: Dr Sang was only professional and pleasant towards me until he found out that I didn't have $20,000.00 to pay for crowns, after that I was treated like a second class citizen, I found a dentist that I've handed over $3000,00 and they put fillings, he only explains things to get max $ out of you. Don't be fooled by his white coat,and ask to see what fancy car he drives.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Dr Owen Hughes highly enough. I have a rather unhealthy fear of dentist but Dr Owen has been amazing from day 1 . Explained clearly what needed to be done without any unnecessary procedures and therefore cost. Very professional, highly considerate and just an absolute legend overall. Dr Owen and the team have been amazing and eased any fears I had and provided outstanding service .

Fantastic experience: Dr Jeff Bridges did an amazing job with my teeth cleaning! She gave good advice and techniques on how to take care of my teeth and oral hygiene. Overall had an excellent experience and I am following up with him. Will definitely recommend to others. Just make sure you have your insurance ready!

Fantastic experience: Dr Michael Shang always makes you feal comfortable and explains everything that is being done with no pressure. I have been seeing Michael with TMJ issues and receiving Botox jaw injections and mouth guards which have helped a 2year long issue. Negative experience: Probably the most unprofessional and rude dental practice we have ever dealt with. My mum left twice in tears due to the practice manager. Wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic experience: The reception can be a little bit slow, but the girls try their best and the customer service is great. My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience, he got a tooth fix that couldn't be done by another dentist and the dentist advised were great; while I had my teeth clean and I loved it. Negative experience: Went in thinking I needed my wisdom teeth taken out and was told my wisdom teeth were fine but I needed five fillings, over $1000 worth of work and when I got a second opinion, I was told my teeth were perfect, I didn't need any fillings but my wisdom teeth needed to be taken out. Will never go back and would report them if I knew how.

Fantastic experience: Great, high quality service. I drive 40 minutes as it is worthwhile to get my teeth cleaned and checked twice a year with such professionals in a hygienic clinic. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I would never go there again. They are very slow in very thing they do. On the card it states the appointment is exclusive for you. And request 24 hours notice to if you are unable to attend. That's all fine. But I sat in the waiting room for half an hour . Two others came in after me and were attended to before me . I sat there waiting and decided I had been there long enough I would not use them or go back because I dnt think they have any idea of what is going on

Fantastic experience: Very impressed, Dr Byrne and the team were so great with my 5 year old daughter who had to get 3 fillings done in one go today. Thought it was going to be a nightmare but they were so good with her.

Positive experience: I just moved to the area and this was the first place to return my call for an appointment and offered gap-free service for my first visit (check-up and clean). I had to queue out the door when i got there for my appointment, but they ran close to time, professional, gave me a quote for both price and time for further work needed. The reception desk can be a bit slow, not sure if it's their computer systems or they might need 2 people during after school & work hours. Only a small inconvenience. Will go back for further work and see how they go.
