Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews but I had my first appointment Metro Dental Menai and was very impressed. Dr David Tadros was very good, he gave me a thorough clean and took the time to explain the issues with my teeth and treatment options.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased to have found a dentist for our whole family. I was nervous when I had to have a needle to replace a filling (triggered from extensive orthodontic work as a child) but Dr Mustafa was so gentle and reassuring, and I felt calm throughout the procedure. As a partner of BUPA, our dental care is affordable. We will definitely take advantage of our bi-annual check ups.

Fantastic experience: My dental experience here at Metro Dental Menai has been a pleasant one from the start. The dentists are all professional and highly trained in their own field of expertise. The admiration I had with my dentist for her caring ways and patience with me as a child back then is the same way I feel about all the dentist here at Metro Dental. They are all soft spoken, well mannered and explains everything a patient should know about their treatment. The staff are all friendly, approachable and gentle in treating patients. Keep up the good work !

Fantastic experience: Very clean and modern surgeries. All of the latest equipment. Very minimal waiting time.George makes me feel very comfortable, knowing I get extremely anxious, and of course is very competent. The receptionists are very polite and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Our whole family attends Metro Dental at Menai. This includes my 93 year old father. He has complex medical and communication issues. Dr Melisa treats us all so professionally, with kindness and caring. On every occasion we visit, our dental issues are always resolved in a complete professional manner. All the front desk staff always greet us with a smile and with all these positive experiences we wouldn’t go anywhere else for our dental treatment.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience at metro dental. Had tooth pain so had it looked at by metro dental. Was quoted $200 to pull the tooth out because it was cracked, or the other option was thousands to try root canal therapy. I decided to have the tooth pulled. 3 different dentists had a go. It obviously didn't go smooth, and the dentists quiet talk behind my back was concerning. I went to pay and the bill went from $200 to $400. I asked why, and they said because they had trouble pulling it out. In my line of business a quote is a quote. I reluctantly paid double what they quoted me, and was advised to chew down on a guaze for a further 30 min and the bleeding will stop. It took a further 8 hours to get the bleeding to stop. But then nearly 3 weeks later I was still in pain and had sharp bits poking out of my gum and into my tongue. I rung and mentioned this and they told me to come in so they could take a look. They said it was normal to have bits of bone sticking out of the gum and I should give it a few more weeks, then charged me again for the visit. Definitely be going somewhere else from now on that is not all about taking your money with no consideration for the pain they cause. My health fund has just advised that metro dental have gone behind my back and made a claim against the health fund even though it was not signed off by me. THESE GUYS ARE DODGY

Fantastic experience: Such a happy experience at Metro dental! The amazing admin staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. And the awesome dental team - I think, with our four children, we have visited them all and each time our experience has been a positive one. Most recently Dr David extracted three teeth from our 13yo who is very anti needles. It was seamless and calm. The man is a wizard and totally dispels the notion that pulling teeth is hard! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for years and bringing my children. All the dentists have been fantastic with my children. They went out of their way to help me with an issue with my jaw that couldn't wait and on another occasion they fit my daughter in straight away when she had pain and couldn't eat. Pleasant receptionists and caring dentists.

Fantastic experience: The team at Metro Dental (especially Dr Omar) were incredible! Going to the dentist is alway a bit nerve wrecking but Dr Omar was very accomodating, kind and professional! I highly recommend Dr Omar!

Fantastic experience: All the staff are absolutely lovely! The dentist I saw was Melissa. She is very professional and happy to offer helpful advice. They are also really great with children. I wish I started coming here sooner.

Negative experience: The receptionist is very rude (as other people who have reviewed here have mentioned too). I rang yesterday to book an appointment and even that conversation alone I could hear by the way she spoke to me that she was rude. When I rang again to confirm the location of the office, she answered rudely (almost in a sarcastic tone). She then told me there was no appointment with my name and I kept telling her that there should be be, as in my call logs this was the only dentist I rang and I remember her voice as she has a UK accent (and I remember her rude tone but I didn’t mention this). I think she deliberately didn’t make my appointment yesterday because of our conversation, as I could tell she was annoyed that I kept asking questions about costs and she cut the conversation short. Don’t go here; there are plenty more dentists in menai.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist in Sydney. I wont go anywhere else. Every dentist i have seen there is great. Very gentle and nice people i trust all of them 100%

Negative experience: My experience with the dentists were good, however, I tried to make an appointment previously before heading overseas and had limited time and the receptionist hung up on me at the end after we couldn’t find an appropriate time - I called right before their lunch time so the call felt rushed and it was obvious they didn’t really care. They used to be flexible with appointments but she literally signed off, saying, ‘we can’t help you,’ and hung up. I’ve never had that experience with someone in customer service before - it was shocking.

Fantastic experience: I’m over the moon with the service Dr David and the team at Menai provided during my procedure today. Everyone is so friendly and you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I had to get 2 fillings redone (was stressing a little) and Dr David was so gentle and I didn’t even feel a thing. I’m so pleased I won’t be going anywhere else for my dental needs. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Switched to this practice last year and seeing Dr George with my husband. We couldn't be happier and will be forever-patients of Dr George and the team at Metro. We've found Dr George to be extremely thorough, gentle, personable and caring. He is meticulous and takes pride in his work delivering it to a high standard. I'm impressed with how thorough he can be whilst maintaining a gentle approach to my teeth sensitivity. In the past I have found dentists to gloss over areas so as to not aggravate sensitivity, but Dr George manages to do an intensely perfect clean with total care. He is also a genuinely nice person who makes you feel at ease and welcome. We also appreciate his hygiene and sterile practices, as well as how clean and welcoming the practice is at large. We leave feeling fresh, rejuvenated and motivated to maintain our oral health!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr David Martin. I had my first appointment here on Saturday - He was very thorough with my clean and polish, explained my x-rays well to me and made me feel like a valued customer, not just a number. Not sure of the name of the lady who took my payment and arranged a follow up appointment (blonde hair!), but she was also really friendly and kind. Thank you.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing. I booked our first appointment for 3 children and was told they would be 30 minute appointments back to back starting at 11:15am. Two days before the appointment I received text messages confirming these appointment times. The day before I received a phone call where it was casually mentioned that it would be helpful if I arrived at 11am to fill in some paper work. On the day I was called a few minutes after 11:15am (we were running late as I went to the wrong location) to be told that the dentist could not see any of the 3 children today as we had arrived too late. Upon investigation they told me that all three appointments had been shortened to 15min each + had been moved forward to 11am. I had not been informed of any of these changes. No apology. Just back peddling and shifting the blame. Won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: I had work done by Dr Goran today he changed my life forever with how extremely good my teeth now look, I have always found the staff very polite, helpful, caring and found the cost to be so much better than any other dentist I have heard of, Just a big thank you to all, for fixing my teeth which has made me more confident as a person cheers Metro Dental

Fantastic experience: Was told by my partner to visit Stan Yannopoulos, who was very hospitable, and has corrected a previously infected filling, placed by another dentist. The root canal has been trouble free, and the experience was 10/10

Fantastic experience: I was first reluctant to change from my family dentist to Metro Dental, only because i am a creature of habit. Due to the complexity of my case i was recommended to see Dr Stan Yannopoulos via a respected friend. At the outset i was pleasantly surprised that i did NOT have a long wait time. In the surgery Dr Yannopoulos has a light touch. He is very efficient and has a way of making me feel relaxed throughout the entire procedure. I have since seen Dr Yannopoulos on several occassions and i have nothing but praise for him. I highly recommend that ALL visit Dr Yannopoulos for a pleasant and painless experience. In addition, the staff at Metro Dental are very accommodating and lovely to deal off. 5 stars is not enough.

Fantastic experience: These guys are AWESOME. Doesn't matter who I see there, even though Dr David Martin will always be our families favorite, they are all great. Friendly, gentle and never try to rip me off. Also try very hard to save a tooth. the whole family loves them.
