Fantastic experience: Wow just wow from the first phone call which was warm and friendly, to the meet and greet that welcomed you like a warm motherly hug, I now understand why Smile City came highly recommended on a community FB page for Victoria Park. The whole team just makes you feel like family, a dental clinic that feels like more of a family living room putting you at ease. The appointment it’s self was highly communicated with every step explained along the way making you feel in controll of the experience and teaching you base knowledge for potential future appointments. Went in as an adult who still had a baby tooth and finally after 44 years it decided to come loose for extraction. Would highly recommended this dental clinic for its family feel good at ease vibes.

Fantastic experience: All the previous 5 star reviews were so right! Took our two year old for his first dentist appointment and we felt so from the moment we walked in and were greeted at reception. Our little guy was made to feel so at ease and cared for that he sat for his whole appointment while the dentist did their check and clean. We felt supported the whole way through and don’t think we could’ve picked a better experience for our son’s first check. Thank you so much for today, we walked out so happy :)

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist usually brings a lot of anxiety for me, but from the moment I walked into Smile City Dental, I felt completely at ease. I was greeted by their amazing receptionist (Ivana — I hope I’ve spelled that right! We’ll have a laugh about it at my next appointment), whose warm smile and friendly welcome instantly settled my nerves. The clinic is easy to find just off Orrong Road, with plenty of parking available. It’s clean, beautifully presented, and has a calming, welcoming atmosphere. I’ve been seeing Dr. Agnes, who is absolutely lovely. She’s friendly, down-to-earth, and always up for a good laugh — something I really appreciate in a setting that can be nerve-wracking. It honestly makes such a difference when the entire team is kind, caring, and knows how to make you feel comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Smile City Dental Carlisle — you’ve turned something stressful into something I now look forward to :)

Fantastic experience: I don't usually bother with reviews, but I really have to say good things about this dentist! The admin staff and dental nurses are always so welcoming and genuinely helpful. Mary is seriously one of the best dentists I've ever seen. She makes you feel totally comfortable and actually involves you in what's going on with your treatment, which really puts you at ease. She really listens to what you're worried about and you can tell she truly cares if you're happy with the outcome. I've also had great treatment from Ryan, who's also a fantastic dentist – he's patient and really pays attention to what you need. You can tell this practice genuinely cares about their patients, and because of that, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental work.

Fantastic experience: For as long as I can remember, I have been terrified of going to the dentist. My anxiety just peaks. But not with this dentist. Dr Mary made me feel so relaxed. I can honestly say that this has been my best dental experience ever!!

After experiencing other dentists in the past who made me feel uncomfortable, rushed, judged and who charged ridiculous prices, this is the first genuine and trusting dental experience I've had. Fantastic experience: Love coming here! I first saw Dr Mary not too long after they opened (I made an appointment here by chance, as I found myself dealing with a sudden toothache, and they were the nearest clinic who could get me in ASAP), and even though it was a new clinic, I was blown away by both the customer service and the facility itself. From the friendly staff and welcoming decor, to cosy waiting area (with some entertainment/distractions for kids!), I can see that great care has been taken to make sure everyone who comes here has as pleasant an experience as possible. I've since been back with (littler) family members, who saw Dr Ryan, and each time all staff members have been patient, engaging, kind and made sure to carefully explain the process every time and wait as long as it takes until the patient is comfortable (regardless of age!) I know going to the dentist can be daunting for some, but Smile City makes every visit as fun and easy as can be! Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone and we will be using them often! P.S. Location is very convenient and has free parking on-site, which is always a plus in my book! I also found them quite reasonably priced, with quite a few different payment options. I never felt like they were just adding procedures/costs for the sake of charging, and I've always felt that they were open to discussing options to accommodate our situation and what was doable for us at the time, which I really appreciate.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mary and Dr. Ryan did an amazing job removing my dad's teeth. Their professionalism and skill were evident throughout the entire procedure. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel comfortable. The dentists took the time to explain the process and answer our questions, putting my dad at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Mary and Dr. Ryan to anyone needing dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mary is a wonderfully caring, patient and thorough dentist, especially for neurodivergent and diverse people. It had been a long time since seeing a dentist and I was really really anxious. I felt immediately safe and heard. She, shared so much information on how to care for my teeth, I learnt so much. She also understood the limitations of my budget and devise a plan to work on my teeth going forward. The Carlisle community are really lucky to have Mary. Would recommend Dr. Mary to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My son 3 had his first appointment with Dr Mary earlier this year, and his second appointment a few weeks ago. On both occasions, Dr Mary, her reception staff and dental nurses have all been fantastic, non judgemental and they are all great with kids!. Dr Mary was very patient and caring with my son; she also sent a helpful follow up email with info on what we discussed in the appointment .

Fantastic experience: Very friendly dentistry practice, amazing staff and incredible dentist. Dr. Mary is caring and very knowledgeable, has a very gentle approach and uses best practice treatments. She and her team do only what is necessary which is a refreshing change to being over charged and over treated. Dr. Mary and her team even accommodated my 18 month old son who came to the clinic with me for my appointment, they let him play with the teeth models, watch a show whilst I had my treatment and even let him press the button to take my X-RAY, a good start to getting him used to going to a lovely dentist. Highly recommend and will be going again and again for all my dental needs.

However, going to Dr Mary Todd has changed this feeling for me. She has been super kind, supportive and compassionate, and always ensures that I feel at ease, and am aware of what is happening. She has provided me with safety, ensuring that I am on board with the procedures, checks in with me throughout the treatment and holds space for my concerns. Fantastic experience: I met Dr Mary many years ago after trying different services. Her kindness and professionalism were outstanding and since the I knew she was the one. I followed Dr. Mary everywhere she went . Now at her clinic, she uses the latest technology, has great calm atmosphere that makes everybody feel welcome, very friendly and helpful staff members. Dr. Ryan and Nelly are the best! Compassionate, kind and very professional too. My children had an amazing experience with them. There is no other services I will recommend higher than Smile city. Great Services, passionate professionals and it is local!

I am VERY nervous about the dentist and the explanations, check ins and friendly chat all the way through really make a difficult experience that much easier. DEFINITELY come here for a check-up or clean, there is plenty of parking space as well!

Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to begin. I walked in without an appointment. I’m visiting from interstate and I’m 25 weeks pregnant and had excruciating tooth pain from cracked tooth that had temp filling from root canal treatment. I had seen a dentist earlier that morn and they explained the only option was to extract the tooth, however the treating dentist did not perform this so it meant I would have to wait till another dentist started later that day on the way back from that dentist I spotted smile city and I thought I would try my luck to see if the dentist could perform the extraction sooner. I was greeted by a lovely lady that was completely empathetic to my situation, could see I was stressed and eager to have something done , explained clearly she would help but to understand the risk of procedure she would need X-rays (something the prior dentist didn’t even do!) I instantly felt calmer knowing she was willing to help. Turns out the lady who happened to serve me was the dentist herself Dr Todd! I had the X-ray done and Dr Todd said it looked pretty straight forward and that she’s help get my tooth out. It took all of two hours because of the crack she was extremely delicate with extracting the tooth very patient and calm and reassuring. I didn’t realise how much time slipped by and I know she had to rearrange other appointments as my tooth was stubborn and took a little longer to get out. Thanks Dr Todd for saving the day and for being so wonderful, empathetic, patient and clear with the steps that needed to take place. You honestly won’t find a better dentist!

Fantastic experience: My recent experience at Smile City was excellent. The clinic is fresh, calming (and so pretty), and Dr Todd and her team were so welcoming and kind, which immediately alleviated my nerves. Thanks to their gentle technologies and techniques my procedure was virtually painless and I literally left smiling ear to ear! I can not recommend Dr Todd more highly.

Fantastic experience: Mary is a fantastic dentist, she is so much more gentle than other dentists i have been too. She explains everything in detail and is constantly checking to make sure you feel comfortable. When you walk in you are greeted by a very lovely happy dental nurse. Smile City also have a great modern set-up with a non-invasive cleaning technique using warm water instead of the usual methods used to clean plaque off teeth. The vegetable dye used to show you how well you are cleaning your teeth and what bacteria is present is very helpful too.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with Dr Todd and Sarah today. Both were so caring and patient and explained what was happening throughout the treatment. They have a super cool water pressure tool that was pain free and so much better than the old school cleaning. Thoroughly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist! I used to have really bad anxiety going to the dentist but when Dr Mary was recommended to me that all changed. She put me at ease and gently coached me through my anxiety, never making me feel pressured or guilty. Mary really cares about her patients. She spent a lot of time thinking about different treatment options for me so that I could get the best outcome possible. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Smile City is the third dental clinic I’ve followed Mary to and hopefully will be the last as she’s the boss of this one! I like coming to see Mary because she doesn’t give me a hard time if I don’t come as often as I should and will always be nice and not lecture me whenever I eventually show up. She is fair with her prices and doesn't charge like a wounded bull.
