Dr Claire explained the process clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I'm really happy with how my teeth turned out, they are exactly what I was hoping for. They treat you like family and genuinely care about your well-being. It’s so easy to talk to them—you’ll feel completely comfortable discussing anything and asking questions. They always recommend what’s truly best for you. Especially Dr. Jason—he genuinely cares about his patients and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re well looked after. Even after moving from Sunnybank to Flagstone, I still make the trip back just to see them. You can tell they love what they do and are dedicated to providing the best possible care.

Fantastic experience: 10/10. 100% would recommend. Had a wisdom tooth emergency after a horrible experience at another clinic, and Dr. Jason came in and saved the day. He is super knowledgeable and expertly skilled, not to mention how he very kindly explains everything to you from start to finish. All the other staff at the clinic were also superb (Thanks Julie!). Cannot express how grateful I am for all their help, and how grated I am to have found this amazing clinic!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Sunnybank Hills Family Dental. Dr Shenley has recently been doing a sterling job of trying to save as many of my decayed teeth as she possibly can, teeth which I had inadvertently neglected for many years. (Note: drinking lots of any sugar-free soft drinks is still very very bad for your teeth!). The good doctor is ably assisted by Juily & Alison, to whom I assign top marks for friendliness & dedication to good service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shenley Chan has done amazing work on my teeth. Wisdom teeth removal, fillings, aligners and upkeep! Never thought I'd be so happy with my smile. Staff are all so friendly and amazing.

Fantastic experience: After yet another disastrous experience, this time an unethical, scrupulous dental surgeon who relieved me of a small fortune and turned both my jawbones into a modern abstract art masterpiece (not in a good way), when the wonderful Ji from Sunnybank Hills Denture Clinic sang the praises of Dr Jason’s professionalism, workmanship and wallet friendly rates at Sunnybank Family Dental Clinic, I was a little more than skeptical. Lacking an alternative, I followed her advice but was totally unprepared to find that Dr Jason is like the holy trinity of dental care where excellence in knowledge and skills combines with integrity and compassion. When I enquired about a costly procedure that was worth a lot of money but could potentially alleviate a lot of problems, he chose righteousness over profit because the x-rays did not support that avenue. He therefore performed other work, fixing up the dodgy work from the other dental surgeon. This review would be incomplete without mentioning Julie, the wonderful receptionist. She is so beautiful, inside and out, and always greets you with a welcoming smile and attitude. Might be my age but geez it is wonderful to be treated like a welcome guest for a change rather than a dreadful inconvenience. She is so knowledgeable and patient, always has the time to answer your questions in a kind and compassionate manner. It was because of how wonderful Dr Jason and Julie were that after reading a brochure while waiting in the clinic that I proceeded to seek beauty enhancement advice and treatment from Dr Claire who also works there. Dr Claire is exactly the same as Dr Jason for all the same reasons: Professional, talented, ethical, honest, gentle, compassionate and definitely wallet friendly. Dr Claire provided PRP treatment on my face, inserted facial threads, and performed micro-needling. She was so skilled and gentle that I fell asleep during the procedures. Although I was a little scared that it would be really painful, she numbed my face and I barely felt a thing. It is really worth getting done because the procedures continue to build collagen in the face over time so even though you get really great improvement straight after the procedure, it continues to improve over time. Dr Claire is also far cheaper than anywhere else. I was actually shocked that you get so much for what I consider to be far cheaper than what I expected such treatment would cost. It is scary getting stuff done to your face, particularly if you have had such a bad run with professionals, but honestly I cannot recommend her highly enough.

She takes the time to listen and is honest with her recommendations and explains the procedures, From the time you walk in you are greeted by her wonderful staff .Julie is awesome in fact everyone is so lovely there. Dr Claire has a great team of employees who treat you incredibly well kind ,caring. You immediately know you have come to the right place.. Prices are very affordable. I would not go anywhere else. I have been 100% satisfied with my treatments and the way I'm looked after is exceptional . I have always walked out happy and feeling like a million dollars .

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been the patients of Dr Claire and Dr Jason for almost 10 years. Both of them, without a doubt, are the most professional. They and the team provided excellent customer service. Dr Claire is really patient, she will make sure you understanding about the whole process and each steps ahead the treatment. My children love to go to visit her every time, my older child have been benefited from the treatment of Invisalign for many years now. I just got my teeth whitening done recently, the service was amazing. I could barely feel any discomfort, even nearly fell asleep during the process. The result was great! You could see the massive improvement immediately. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Sunnybank Hills Family Dental enough. I started my journey with them by having an urgent wisdom tooth removal and was assigned to Dr Jason. He was able to remove the tooth in record time and pain free. Recovery was smooth with no bruising and very little swelling. Nothing like my friends difficult circumstances with their wisdoms, Jason is a pro. My experience with dental clinics hasn’t been positive in the past but it was clear I could trust Jason. After returning for further work, I discussed with him my desire to fix my smile and he referred me to Dr Claire for Invisalign. Another incredible dentist who put me at ease within seconds. Clearly skilled at what she does, I was sold. Claire also works with injectables, so whilst this isn’t a service I am after personally at this time, she has a vast understanding of facial structure and skin movement. She was able to build my treatment in a way that would limit any negative impact to my skin in the forms of lines/wrinkles as this was important to me at my age. I’m now three trays in and I feel very grateful to be her patient. And if great dentists aren’t enough, Julie the receptionist is the kindest soul who will share her own personal experiences to put your mind at ease. And Alyson who is the dental assistant always has a welcoming smile and gives me a rub on the arm during treatment to show that I’m not alone and I am being looked after. I went here because it was close to home, but I would travel miles if I had to now. Very deserving of the 5 stars. If you are about to visit, you will be in the hands of a phenomenal team.

Fantastic experience: Our entire family has been under the care of Dr. Claire and Dr. Jason for years, benefiting from their exceptional professional skills and services since their time at Beaudesert. Their approach involves attentive communication, patiently explaining necessary procedures, and promptly addressing any dental concerns we have. Both of my children underwent Invisalign treatment, and what's convenient is that they only require checkups once every six months instead of monthly visits. By simply sending scanned images to Dr. Claire on a weekly basis, we can ascertain if it's time to progress to the next aligner, which has significantly reduced the hassle. The results have left us exceedingly content, and without a doubt, we intend to maintain them as our designated family dentists in the future.

The staff are simply amazing and take the time to get to know you and your dental needs. They do not get you to have procedures done when there is no need and give you options whenever they can. If you are after one of the best all round dentist practices, you won't find better.

Dr Shehan De Costa to me, is one of the best dentists in Brisbane, he is patient, kind, very gentle and always puts my anxiety at ease when I'm in the chair, Shehan is extremely professional with a eye for detail with an uplifting friendly character.
