Fantastic experience: While visiting Australia on vacation, I bit into a sticky chocolate and ripped my crown off. I walked into Maven Dental, and they booked me in the next morning. Within 24 hours, my crown was glued back on. Dr. Sherry and her wonderful team handled me with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Fantastic experience: BEST DENTIST PRACTICE BY A LONG SHOT! I recently had my Invisalign treatment done over the past year. The service and the all round effort from the team was astonishing. When you put together affordable dental and peace of mind... It's a no brainer! What separates good customer service from great customer service is the warm attentive nature and the pure consistency. From the very start I was treated like family, and not left in the dark for any decision making or details. I had a goal for my teeth and was quite surprised when Celso and the team took it on board and made it their goal as well. My treatment and ideas definitely threw a spanner in the works, and instead of hearing a reason why we can't do that, which you would get at other dentists. They held my hand along the way and Celso met my ideas with an "I like that" & "Let's see what we can do" attitude. At one point they worked several hours past their closing time to make sure my retainers had been made and that I received them as soon as possible. You arrive there noticing the teams smiling faces and they make sure you leave with the same. In short, my teeth have never been better! And I'm so pleased, my smile is so wide there is no more cheeks left on my face.

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved into the area and was looking for a new dentist. I had a look on google of the different websites and Maven Dental was the most appealing. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and didn't wait more then a minute to come in to the room. It was nice to have an appointment where the dentist is on time. I was treated by Dr Celso who did a thorough examination and clean. He was super friendly and chatty and would make anyone relax during their treatment. I definitely would highly recommend anyone in the Northern Beaches to visit this professional dental practice.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful experience every time we come to Maven. You can see the team genuinely love working together and it makes all the difference when you’re not looking forward to having something fixed!

Negative experience: The hygienist embarrassed a my adult daughter to the point of them not returning by belittling her dental condition to another family member, try to convice me that a dental hygienist should do a 4 visit periodontal clean at $285 per session, also telling you that a periodontist will charge 10 times this amount and charge my younger daughter $287 for a clean that includes a head and neck cancer check at each appoinment! All of this with no actual Dentist involved!

Fantastic experience: I hated going to the dentist for as long as I can remember! With many years of encountering production line type, in-and-out dentistry (with no care as to my personal circumstances or comfort levels) that also at the same time suggests extreme and invasive procedures, I have resigned to putting up with any discomfort in my mouth for as long as possible (sometimes years). I learned of Dr Celso and his team at Maven Dental Avalon. I admit, I was incredibly nervous and sceptical of everything Dr Celso and his team tried to do. However, they noticed this and were the most thorough, kind, patient and compassionate dentists team I have ever seen. They first checked to see how my teeth were going, then did a clean and then sat down to talk me through their thoughts. Throughout the entire process, step by step, they talked me through what they were about to do and the sensations that I may feel. At the end, they sat me down and talked me through the available options which they think could help me in the long run. Dr Celso took the time to listen to my concerns and then stepped through options within my comfort level and personal circumstances. What truly sets them apart from all other dentists I have experienced: - State of the art: their processes are the most state-of-the art dentistry processes without the fluff; - Individualisation: they also have good old customer service. Taking the time to see each patient and considering what they need and what is best given their circumstances; and - compassionate: they made me feel safe, seen and heard throughout the entire process. I am truly impressed.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend seeing John! I was very insecure about my teeth and John suggested I get veneers which no other dentist had ever suggested to me before. It was a quick process and John answered any concerns I had before the veneers were placed on. Once the veneers were complete, he altered them to my individual preferences and made sure I didn't leave until I thought they were perfect! I am so happy with the results! Defiantly go and see Maven Dental Avalon if you have the slightest teeth insecurities- they also have a lovely receptionist Liz. I have finally found the perfect dentist.

Fantastic experience: First time ever Pain free fixture of a front tooth fracture and filling I am usually mortified of going to the dentist as I have extremely sensitive teeth. This was my first time I’ve seen maven dental and I can hands down say he was the best:) I’ve had dental work done in the past from other places and I’ve always been in extreme pain and not wanting to go back. The assistants made me feel comfortable through this entire process and the front reception had a great personality. I’ll be a regular now :)
