Fantastic experience: Been with Chitra for over 10 years. She’s amazing and what can I say? If I’m there over 10 years, she’s the one!! Very gentle, warm, caring, understanding, can read facial expression when it’s painful, uncomfortable, nervous or so. You are in good hands. If she can’t do it, she’ll tell u. I had 4 wisdom out from another of her colleague and I wanted to do a minor filling while at it, she will explain everything to you. Nope, too much blood, you will be in too much pain after n etc.. Highly recommended. She will accomodate whatever she can.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. I wasn't sure what my skin needs were and was a little anxious about treatment, but Katelyn made it easy. She discussed my options, helping me choose a treatment that aligned with my goals, while explaining throughout what she was doing making sure I was comfortable. She provided me with an after care kit and lots of info to take home, making me aware of what to expect post treatment, even checking in after. I've already seen positive changes after only 4 days and have booked to see Katelyn again!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Chitra, by a cousin in law, who had Invisalign there, and was happy with her teeth/treatment. I’d rather go with someone’s referral, if they have had a good experience there. I, too, am very happy with my teeth/treatment as I had Fast Braces there, and it was certainly fast. Took me only 7 months, out of the expected 12 months, for my teeth to be straightened. Quite amazing! Thank you Dr Chitra. It was not a strightforward one either. Chitra is warm, professional, decisive and consultative in her approach. Just over 14 months later, palate expanded & fast braces, I now have straight teeth and couldn’t be happier! Fantastic experience: After a disappointing experience elsewhere, I came to Chitra to straighten my teeth further using Fast Braces. The whole process only took 9 months, even through the COVID lockdown. Chitra was absolutely amazing the entire time. As I was still a little nervous from the negative experience elsewhere, she really took the time to ensure I was comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. Even though I live on the complete opposite side of the city, I still go to Chitra for regular dentistry because of how brilliant her service is. Fantastic experience: Just recently I had the opportunity to fix my smile, and Chitra provided me with everything I could have asked for. This has changed my life for the better. I can safely and without a shadow of a doubt say Smile Place Dental is certainly one of the best when it comes to dentistry. I have been to all their 3 locations in Melbourne and only ever visited with Dr Chitra Rao and Arathy Rao. They are amazing and excellent at what they do, always ensure the patient is comfortable and at ease, their bed side manner is also top draw. The staff are also very friendly, calm and polite. Our family now only visits Smile Place for all our families dental needs, this includes a 4 year old and a 7 year old, absolutely love their work and really cannot recommend them enough. Great work and keep it up!!

I am so great full to have been treated by Dr Tom Brookes. He was very understanding with the way he handled my anxiety and he made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: I experienced major trauma to my mouth in January 2018 as a result of a dooring incident riding my bike home from work. Already weary of dentists resulting from a childhood trauma, this incident lead to full blown anxiety with the dental work I needed to fix the damage done. Chitra and her team were very assuring, understanding and accommodating. They made the whole process as comfortable and nurturing as possible and they worked quickly to ensure my anxiety was minimal. Yesterday, 8 months since the accident, I walked out of their Glen Iris surgery with a new smile and renewed confidence in my appearance. I can't recommend Smile Place highly enough. Being the age I am I have had extensive treatment, extractions, fillings, crowns, and recently an implant. I wouldn't go anywhere else now I have fond Chitra and her staff.
