Fantastic experience: Very friendly dentist Dr. Nigel, makes my kids feel excited about coming to appointments.

Negative experience: I went to this clinic due to tooth sensitivity. The dentist told me it was “just a filling” and went ahead with the treatment. I was charged a very high amount for what was described as a simple procedure. Less than a month later, I had the exact same pain. I then went to my regular dentist, who diagnosed an infection in the same tooth. I ended up needing a completely different treatment that could have been avoided if the issue had been properly identified in the first place. Very disappointing experience, expensive treatment, and incorrect diagnosis. I would not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my dentist mr Nigel he explains everything regarding treatments and what to expect regarding pricing very honest and it’s a good thing but speedy and tries his best to get what I need done when I can see him during appointments been my dentist for over 3-4 years now very happy with his services and the staff are all pleasant very upfront and honest and gets to the point very professional me and my kids see him and all prefer his services please Nigel don’t leave anytime soon I’m not changing dentists lol

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with Dr Nigel and his assistant Lynne (hope I spelled that right!) who were both very friendly and caring. My wisdom tooth extraction was almost painless (bar the anaesthesia) and my recovery went smoothly. I am one happy camper!

Fantastic experience: I took my 6year old here for tooth extraction today and I just want to say a big thank you to the female dentist there.. (I feel terrible I didn't get her name) My son has ASD grade 3 and i was worried a dentist visit would leave him traumatized however the dentist made my son feel so safe, relaxed and fun throughout the entire procedure. It was all over so fast!! Anyone who is going in with a child to have a tooth extracted make sure you have panadol on hand as they will feel the effect once anesthesia wears off. Nothing that panadol cannot manage. 3hours later my boy was keen to start eating and he is back to himself again. I highly recommend this practise for those with children as they are quite good with them. Thanks again!!

Negative experience: They have they bulk bill to get there to be told they only do private health fund.Was not happy won't be back there ever

Fantastic experience: I got a wisdom tooth out 2-3 years ago elsewhere and the dental surgeon was mocking my discomfort and telling my mum I just wanted attention. Here at Plumpton Dental Centre I got my remaining 3 teeth out by Nigel and the lovely dental assistant who were both very nice and funny. As someone with severe anxiety, they made me feel very comfortable and did a very good job!

Fantastic experience: I have been having dental work for 60 years. Many traumatic experiences. And terror every time I go. Today I went to Dr Nigel at Plumpton for an extraction and filling. He and his assistant are angels!!! No huge jabbing needles, nothing about this was anything but smooth and gentle. If you are needing a compassionate, experienced dentist GO HERE!!!! Fantastic experience: Been going to this place since I was in Kindergarten (over 20 years) and despite Le only working one day a week these days his young dentists that have taken over are very friendly and make it a very comfortable experience. Thanks Nigel for the recent service (and his lovely assistant)

Negative experience: Very disappointed today wed 21st. My daughter wanted x-rays fillings and a clean. After waiting 55mins past her appointment time dentist only had time to do 1 filling which took less than15 mins. She asked about a clean and he made her book in again next week as he didn't have time to do it or anything else. else. Obviously he was making up time at her expense. Poor customer service. I wanted her to use this years dental fund up. She rang me after leaving the dentist saying he made her feel second rate and of no importance. Shame on you Plumpton Dental.

Positive experience: Had wisdom tooth removal, was extremely plain full despite local anaesthetic. Was not prescribed pain or antibiotics post op, despite being told it was impacted, and heavily infected before my surgery. Following weeks have been hell, will not be using this dentist again unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: This dentist and the nurse who assists him (I wish I could remember their names) is the reason I am not terrified of going to the dentist anymore… before he starts looking at your teeth he sits with you to discuss face to face what you need and what you’re struggling with. He shows mercy when you’re in pain and stops what he’s doing to give more anaesthetic and he never gets impatient or angry. He makes sure you’re comfortable and that you feel safe. The nurse is the kindest person and is super efficient and caring with patients. Never have I ever in my life have I dealt with a lovelier dental surgery. Aside from that, the tooth he fixed for me has made my life so much better - a fantastic job is an understatement! Thank you, sincerely!

Fantastic experience: Posting from my husbands account lol Always had great experiences with dental care plumpton, I’ve been through dentist where they would just make me do an X-ray suggest an extraction then tell me to book again. When I came here, Nigel guided me through each step that he was gonna take and explained everything and was just lovely overall. Negative experience: Walked in to get my wisdom tooth removed. The dentist said thats $600 and he can do it right now. He did no xray or check up so i walked out I went to penrith and they gave me an xray, consultation and wisdom tooth removed for $350. The dentist in penrith was so helpful and made me feel comfortable.

Negative experience: Terrible service!!! And Expensive- Wisdom tooth pulled and no pain script offer or real advice. Had tooth pulled, after getting home, and anesthetic wearing off i was bleeding profusely, and i was in a lot of pain- Back to dentist but he’d closed shop early and gone home, Obviously earned his quota $$ for the Saturday. I had to go to drs to get panadeine forte- Was in pain for a week- I wouldnt take my worst enemies dog to this dentist!!!

Negative experience: Charged me for gas and fed me oxygen but charged me for gas never told the truth quite happy to take your money but took no pride in work not impressed at all.

Fantastic experience: Broken tooth. No appointment. No problem. Showed up unannounced and was "squeezed" in. The offending tooth was taken care of. I have been visiting this surgery for 17 years and still appreciate the fast and efficient service.

Negative experience: Had to have braces 3 times thanks to that idiot! After I had them taken off teeth were perfect for 11 months until I asked him if I could use any products to clean my retainer with gave me polident used it a couple of times and noticed a gap between my teeth due to the instructions saying to use warm water to soak it in that caused the retainer to disolve. Went back blames me says I used boring water (when I only used warm water as thats what the instructions said to use when really he should of told me to use cold water as that could happen). Had to get braces for another 6 months ask for a wire retainer broke once went back got it fixed broke again teeth moved had to get braces AGAIN! 4 month get them taken off and he promised me when I got my braces on for the third time he'll give me a double retainer when taken off only gave me a plastic retainer and not the wire as he said he couldn't put the wire retainer on. Three months teeth moved again decide to see a orthodontist at Bupa he said the reason my teeth keep moving is due to my back teeth how they sit on the back of my front teeth. Now spending $7000 on aligners to fix my teeth AGAIN! My mother had problems as well as long as her friend! Would give him a rating of 0! Now go to Bupa and they are heaps better!

Fantastic experience: I rang this surgery and told them of my pain, they told me to come straight down, they took me in very quickly and check out my tooth by giving an X-ray. It was a relief to know what was wrong so quickly. In my case it was not related to the tooth but other problems. Thank you for your prompt professional care. Will definitely be back.
